I took my good old reliable Civic to have the tint removed. My 8 yr old nephew asked me why my windows had bubbles. Ok, this is an old car I keep in CA for when I'm in town. I went here about 1 week ago to get a quote on tinting my car windows , when I arrived I noticed all the doors were open as if they were open for business however I could not find any employees I noticed a note taped on the door that said they would be back in awhile and had a phone number to call , I waited 10 minutes then called the number the man who answered said he was tied up in moorpark and would be back at 2 I went home and came back at 3 still no one was there I then called the number again and the man said someone should be there in 5 minutes I waited 10 minutes no one showed up so I left and went to their competitor . it was clear to me they did not want any business since they just leave their business with no employees there during business hours . I wish I could give a good review BUT after I called for an estimate on my home windows the owner came to my home to measure windows. It took a little longer then he said for the estimate and I had to bug him for it. He gave a great quote and that's where it went bad. I tried to set up a date for the tint to be done via text nothing I called and left messages no reply. I text some more nothing. Randomly a month later he text saying they're busy but he will get back to me with a date. Nothing never heard from him again despite me texting him again and calling for over 2 months. Now 4 months later still nothing. Sad because we also have cars that needed tint and now we would never go to someone who is a business owner and has such horrible customer service. Just got done. This guy here (Juan) is the nicest guy. He explained all the different types of tint and didn't pressure me for the more expensive ones, he actually gave me a discount. They installed this while I waited in his very nice waiting area clean and comfortable.... with WiFi and TV. They were done in about 20 minutes with just my two front windows that matched and came out perfectly. Definitely recommend this place.... oh and by the way, he has pictures on the wall with very satisfied customers from the Rams football team and they could go anywhere but they came here... I chose West Coast Window after reading every single review. As of today, all but one review are 5 stars. the lone negative review of 1 star is due to a guy's misunderstanding of the business hours. I then did some research based on the recommendations in the reviews and decided to go with the Llumar CTX ceramic tint before I even made an appointment, because I park my car in direct sunlight nearly all the time, and drive long distances. I called on Saturday afternoon (spoke with Eddy) and was able to make an appointment for Sunday morning for my 2016 Altima. He did offer me a same day appointment, but the wait was a bit long because they were busy. When I got there, Eddy helped me choose exactly which tint shades I wanted. I wanted it dark in the back, but not so dark as to interfere with rearview night visibility. For the front, I wanted just enough tint to not worry about being cited (I've gotten verbal warnings on past tinted vehicles), plus my car is black on black, so it's already pretty dark inside at night with no tint whatsoever. Eddy didn't apply any pressure or try to upsell me. He stood by patiently and was able to answer all of my questions, give all the info I wanted to verify from my research, demonstrate the various levels of heat rejection with each tint brand using the heat lamp. He even had a Lexus parked in the lot with the same tint I was considering buying. After seeing that, I was sold. I went with 15% on the rear windows and 30% on the front windows. I arrived at 9:30 am and drove out of there grinning at 11:00. Eddy, you are officially my "tint guy" and I will happily recommend you to everyone I know. :) Great customer service, knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices and excellent workmanship. Also, they have a large flat screen tv, candy, chewy granola bars and a fridge stocked with soda, fizzy juice drinks and water. For just over an hour, I hung out and watched the Raiders play the Ravens while eating a chocolate chip granola bar and sipping a sparkling apple Izze. Nicely done, guys.
