Caesar and his son always do so well! This is my 3rd vehicle tinted by these pros. I highly recommend getting your vehicle tinted with Advanced Tinting. I got 5% in the rears and 20% in the front (no windshield). The guys finished my truck in half the time given!

They just completed my third car here. This is the best tinting shop around. I think they have about 40 years experience and it shows. They will help you choose the right material and UV blocking. Caesar is quite a pleasure to chat with. You can drop your car off, or stay with it and watch the entire process. They take off trim as required to get the material ALL the way over the window, so it will not peel off at an edge later. They really know what they are doing. Mark my words, you get what you pay for!

I really wish I would've gone with my gut feeling when I had to get my wife's windshield tint replaced. I told them I wanted to match and didn't remember the shade it originally had. I was told by one of the sons after he looked at it that it was 70% which of course I'm not going to argue since they're the experts. I said cool but then Caesar came out to look at it and said it was 50% I mentioned that they wrote in 70% and said not worry about it and would make sure it was matched and it wouldn't matter since my receipt said 70% because he as well that the intention was for it to match the original tint. Unfortunately that bit me in the end. They definitely installed the 70% when I called to confirm after I noticed that it was not the same shade. I first noticed it as I washed off the streaks left from the leftover product they used. There is a gap where there is no tint and there is almost a non-existent difference in the windshield and tint. Even at night the difference was visible between the old tint and windshield where there was a gap and where it got cut. I was told because they were different manufactures there would be a slight difference. But looking at a piece of the tint that we had the difference is more than slight. Even in pictures you can tell the difference. I called in to see what can be done. I was told by the same son that we had pay to redo the whole thing if we want to go darker. I admit I should've probably asked them to correct the receipt to ensure that they installed the 50% like Caesar mentioned or put a note saying "... or match tint." But maybe a call letting me know that they need to go darker than 70% to get a match would've been appreciated. I told the son that his dad had mentioned that it was darker than 70% but still insisted on we having to pay full price for it to get redone. He didn't even offer to check in with his dad to verify or ask. I would've been content if they offered to redo it with the correct matching shade and me pay for the material. We really enjoyed the extra privacy during my daughter's feedings up front and the difference in temperature with the original darkness. I also had LASIK done it was nice not having to wear shades while I drove as the sunlight will start bothering me. Now we're just stuck on a debating on redoing it and having to pay $280 again or just sucking it up. Even 2 months later I still get upset for not having updating the order to ensure this hiccup wouldn't have happened as it really feels like a waste of money since there is almost no difference between having the 70% and not having it at all. I had to go back to wearing my shades while in her car.

Another job fantastically well done by Caesar and his crew. This is the second time we've taken a car to Advanced Tinting and it definitely won't be the last. My wife and I took her Audi A4 to get tinted by Advanced Tinting back in 2012 and it's still FLAWLESS - no bubbles, no peeling, and looks exactly the same as the first day it was put on. This is the primary reason we decided to go with them again. I've gone to a number of tint places throughout the area and while Caesar might not be the cheapest option, I can rest easy knowing the work is far superior and will last the lifetime of the car. We took our Mazda CX-5 in because of the superb quality of his work and it was easy to schedule a time (they're super responsive here on Yelp) and we were able to get in next-day and the whole job took about 2.5 hours. It looks fantastic! Trust me - Advanced Tinting might be a little on the more expensive side but you get what you pay for and the tint will last which to me is the most important aspect. My son needed his two front door windows tinted and a sun strip installed so he called to get prices. After talking to Chris he knew this was the place he wanted to take his car. Chris was so nice, professional and friendly on the phone. They were very knowledgeable about the vinyl sun strip my son wanted installed on the windshield also. The day of our appointment, we were welcomed by Cesar with open arms and a huge grin. He helped my son select the correct tint for his car as well as telling funny stories...It felt like we'd known him for years. The shop cat was pretty cute too!! Perfect service. First during the quote session I got all my questions answered. Honest and realistic, no promises given to what is impossible as I got from others. Arrived 30 minutes too earlier to my appointment and they took my car ahead of time and placed another car on gild because I stayed with them. Very welcoming folks, I had good time watching them work. Real professionals, but also great people. Polite, work clean, hospitality was 100%. End work is just superb. Took my car to moorpark window tint on Friday. Was really happy with my tint until today I noticed the edges of my quarter windows weren't fully tinted. Brought it back and the guy told me that's just how it is otherwise it would scratch my window. Decided to bring it here and have them check it out and get their opinion. Chris and Caesar both told me that isn't how it is and they could fix it for me. They got the job done quick and I could not be happier! My windshield had to be replace because of a small rock, so after getting reliable service from PG Glass, I called Advanced Tinting by Caesar, and they fit me in this weekend. Originally my appointment was for 1:00 p.m. but with the change of plan, I was able to get in at 10:00 a.m. with no problem. This is my 4th time coming to Advanced Tinting, and let me tell you it's another amazing job yet again. Michaels customer service is incredible and everyone else are beyond nice. Called on a Monday got my car in Wednesday and they were done within the hour. Mind you I only had my two front windows done since my car came with factory tint which made for the quick time, but they did a fantastic job matching the tint. I honestly don't remember the prices but they have always been affordable. Would recommend to anyone and everyone considering tint on their car. read more

I highly recommend this family owned business, I am extremely happy and satisfied with the quality of their work and their amazing customer service! From the moment I called them to inquire about their services and costs they were very friendly and took the time to explain to me what the differences were in their products. I could've sworn I had done a review for them already as I have been coming here for several years. I found a Groupon offer, purchased it and gave it as a gift to my daughter and my husband. I was pleased with the work they did, returned with my previous car and finally had to part ways with my car so I've returned again. They did an amazing job with my new car, Michael suggested what would look best and not worry about going too dark. I left completely satisfied and returned several days later to tint my panoramic sunroof because the car got hot from the top. They don't push any add on work which I appreciate when we discussed coming back to do the sunroof, with that said I am coming back with my other 2 daughter's cars this weekend as I think this summer is going to be hot and they are some what new drivers plus I'll feel better knowing that when they are driving alone at night they'll feel safer. Established in 1994.

Moorpark's first local, family-owned, multi-generational window tint shop. Caesar started our family business about 29 years ago. He began his training in window tinting in 1988 when the industry started gaining mainstream traction. Born, raised, and educated in Mexico, he quickly learned the craft of window tinting while simultaneously becoming fluent in English. After 7 years of training, he gained such notoriety in his craft and customer service that he became motivated to open his own business. Since 1994, Caesar has delivered quality craftsmanship, emphasizing above all else that each customer walks away satisfied with his services. His two sons Christopher and Michael now own the business with the intention of growing and expanding it.

Meet the Business Owner: Christopher R.

Advanced Tinting began in 1994 under Caesar. He has now entrusted his two sons, Christopher and Michael, to take the lead in growing and expanding the family business. Born and raised in Moorpark, CA, in 1989, Christopher spent many summers working with his father to learn the trade. After receiving his bachelor's degree from California State University Northridge, he began working full-time with Caesar. With 10+ years of experience and the expertise of his father Caesar, Christopher continues the business with the same commitment as was established from the start of the business: to deliver quality craftsmanship, emphasizing above all else that each customer walks away satisfied with our services.

The satin finish makes all the high-gloss black and red elements pop in a way they didn't before. It's striking. We've already had multiple people stop and comment - including someone at a gas station who said it was going to be his next car. Now the Volvo. It's over seven years old but still in great shape with under 38K miles, and I wasn't ready to part with it. Instead, I refreshed it. The original two-tone white and black is now wrapped in a British racing green-colored wrap, and it has completely changed the car. The existing black and red accents stand out in a whole new way and paired with the rare lava-colored interior carpets, it feels like a brand-new car again. Here's what I ordered: Rear 3 windows at 15%, front two at 30%, and the windshield at 50% totaling out to $890. That might seem steep to some but I'm paying for piece of mind coupled with the lifetime warranty on the LLumar ceramic tint. Will also have me back my car spotless and shining which is appreciated as the final product just looked that much better. Simple after care instructions were given and payment was quick and easy. Overall I highly recommend XSiv if you're thinking about tint and they offer wrapping and PPF as well. They had a cool line up of Porsches so if eye candy is your thing you will appreciate they got on display!

As a repeat customer and having referred my multiple people over, I am disappointed in my recent contact getting a quote for my husband's SUV. I've have my 2 cars, my dad's truck, my husband's past Explorer, my mother-in-laws Audi and multiple friends car's tinted by Cesar over the last 5 years. All with 5 star experiences. Today unfortunately was a very different experience. In the past I always spoke directly with Caesar but this time it was an employee named Christopher. He asked for the make, model and year of my husband's SUV that I'm looking to get tinted this week. He quoted me $200. (Not mentioning a repeat customer or cash discount) Then I asked if it would make any difference if I purchased a Groupon or paid straight cash and Christopher stuttered and then said they don't like to undermine Groupon because they have been a good business aspect for them and then he said if I brought in a Groupon and offered a $20 repeat customer discount then I would only have to pay him $220 (keep in mind that is not including me paying the $40 toward Groupon which is supposed to equal a credit of $100 which would put the overall price to me being 260 still) The math was not making sense. In my eyes I see the original price 260- the groupon credit 100 meaning I pay him 160 and pay groupon 40 putting me at a net of 200. Which I would do despite the competition being about 175 I would gladly pay the extra 25 to have it done by Caesar. I was very confused as why he changed his mind in the matter of 10 seconds on the pricing and me asking about groupon. I then asked for him to explain to me again why i would pay him $220 plus groupon $40 when he originally quoted me $200 at the beginning of our conversation. He denied the $200 quote and said he had said $260 the entire time (not true). Regardless of that he had no explanation why it would still be 220 with 100 dollar groupon included. I was uncomfortable about him going back on his quote and then lying to me about it so I didn't take the conversation any further. My husband had heard the entire phone call and decided to call back to get clarification in case Christopher misspoke. He basically told my husband the $220 plus $40 for groupon story and then my husband said he was quoted $175 at a place in Thousand Oaks and Christopher said "that's great, go there and good luck" Honestly...no words come to mind about how I feel about this conversation I had with Christopher other than upset that I've had many cars tinted and referred family and friends and this is the way he treats his referrals. Ridiculous. It is sad to see such a great business be a disappointment. read more
