The special education program there is outstanding the teachers the support staff everyone is awesome they greet my son every day they communicate with me well which I did not receive in previous schools or school districts. spent both 7th and 8th grade years here back in '94 and these were probably the two most memorable…read moreyears I had during my school years. it might have been a little ghetto, but besides a bunch of fights, nothing crazy happened when I was there. the teachers were pretty cool & met a lot of cool people but the things I remember most were cambodian new years when everyone carries around powder and shaving cream and throws it at everyone else, playing "suicide" (same rules as butts up, but the penalty was getting jumped until you touch the wall), the ongoing tradition right before graduation where it was the 7th graders vs the 8th graders fighting each other, break dancing in the hall ways... things got more serious in high school and got moved out of town so lost touch with everyone except a couple friends found online.
