I called to inquire about a breast reduction surgery. Natalie answered and was very friendly and helpful in answering all my questions. As soon as we hung up she sent me the intake questionnaire and the email address of who I would need to send it to once filled out. Within minutes I had it filled out and sent to Angela. No answer. A week or so later I hadn't heard back so I decided to email Angela again just to check in and make sure she had gotten it. No answer. A few days after that I decided to email Natalie back thinking that maybe I had the wrong email address. She CCed Angela back asking to respond to me. Angela finally responded saying "I did receive your questionnaire back. We do not make appointments until we receive all information requested on the questionnaire." I wrote back (and CCed Natalie) the following: "It would probably help if the questionnaire explained that. Because it says "I have sent or have with me" it implies I could bring records with me once an appointment was made. I guess I could have learned that earlier if you had bothered responding to either of my emails. Full transparency on my end, this is a majorly invasive procedure that I do not take lightly and have been considering for years. I was nervous even calling your office to set up a consultation but as one of the only nearby practices that accepts my insurance I am a bit limited in my options, so here we are. As far as you being my initial point of contact for your office, and therefore potentially representing the rest of what I can expect, I am a little apprehensive. You couldn't be bothered to take 2 minutes to respond to me and request documents? What else can I look forward to in dealing with your office? A doctor that won't take 2 minutes to double check a suture?" That was roughly two weeks ago and I have not heard back from either employee.
