terrible quality imaging and customer service. they did a ultrasound and said large ventral hernia. surgeon said possible diastasis recti and ordered a ct scan with oral and iv contrast. new diagnostic report said zero ventral hernia or diastasis recti but small,tiny hernia. tried to get it corrected or test redone but they refused and stand with their report. see picture and that doesn't show up on this million dollar high resolution machine? lol clowns read more

Staff are not friendly nor helpful. I have been there twice and both experiences were upsetting.

I had a CT done on 6/03. Afterwards I paid my co-pay of $50.00 with a credit card. On 9/03, I receive a statement in the mail from West Hernando Diagnostic dated 08/23 stating my balance owed for that procedure was $57.52. What kind of procedures are they following? Do they not know the cost of their own tests and scans, or what their partnered insurance companies are covering? To add insult to injury they put a due date of 9/06. Are they going over their records seeing if they can scam some extra cash from some senior citizens. read more

I had an appointment for a mammogram and I have all of my diagnostic testing done there. When I went in The girls at the desk were very nice but the girl that gave me the test has a terrible bedside manner. Dirty looks were also given to me and it was a very uncomfortable experience. I hate to have to go back but I will be speaking to the manager. read more

I have been going to West Hernando Diagnostics for years, ever since Rose Radiology closed. I have had mammograms, CT's MRI's and x-rays done at this facility over the years. My experience with them has always been wonderful. The scheduler is great, the staff knowledgeable(I am retired medical office/medical records so I have experience with the service side of the medical profession.) The facility has always been clean when I've been there. It is efficiently run and , for years as a self-pay patient, their prices are extremely reasonable. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is that the gentleman in medical records has TWICE given me the records of another patient by mistake. Having worked medical records myself, I know this is a BIG No-No! I shredded the records of the other patient without looking farther than the name. I also informed the man there of his error. Other than that I would highly recommend West Hernando Diagnostics. read more

I went to the facility on Commercial Way to get an MRI that my doctor had ordered. After I spent thirty minutes filling out their required paperwork and waiting I was called in and the MRI tech refused to do the test because I didn't have information about my stents on me. I have had several MRI's done since having the stents installed by a few of the top hospitals in the country and was never asked for the cards so I stopped carrying them after 14 years. The MRI tech was rude and crass and should be let go....it was a horrific experience and I will never return to that facility! read more

Best place to go when you need a X-ray, MRI or cat-scan they are quick, very kind. For a X-ray you don't even need appt. Just had them the script from your Doctor and your in. read more

I am a healthcare provider. I received mammogram results for one of my patients that were abnormal. There were no measurements included in the report and location of said "masses" was also absent. I requested an addendum of the report to include this information but was informed by the office manager that the physician (radiologist) only marks the films for their technicians and does not do measurements until the spot compression is done. I asked the hypothetical question if my patient were to go to another imaging center due to travel what would that entail and the manager informed me that the patient could request her disc or images and the new radiology center could measure them. I feel that this technique railroads our patient's into returning to this location and creates unnecessary stress for patients that are already fearful and anxious. read more

Although the actual service has improved since I wrote my last review which is most important really, im needing to vent about the "records department " namely "MARLENE" not only was she rude on the phone, she was even worse in person! I get it there's are rules when it comes to medical records, "hippa laws " so I don't really fault her for enforcing them, however there is a right and wrong way to treat patients. My daughter ordered a cd of her childs x-ray she needed for further examination, I (grandma) went to pick it up the following day as i am listed as an emergency contact on record, I in-fact i made the original appointment and accompanied them to the x-ray department. While i was in route to pick up the cd, my daughter was calling ahead to let them know i was coming to get it which is when "MARLENE " turned on her power hungry charm and informed my daughter that I would not be allowed to pick up the cd because their was no signature & a form naming me emergency contact was apparently skipped, well i was already in the lobby when i got the text from my daughter telling me I wasn't going to be allowed to pick it up; however i was already there and asked her for it anyway, her verbal reply was literally "NOPE" as she sat at her desk typing away & finally got up to hand me two printed papers ( the emergency contact form) she was obviously preparing to hand me, walks over to me pointing to the signature on page one and says " I can't even read that" ( really! Its a signature) meant to be unique in order to make it hard for others to forge, I didn't say that to her but she told my daughter on the phone that their was no signature! And apparently the box was not checked stating who could actually have access to those records (besides the patient) so technically she was correct, but I said since im here and you spoke with my daughter and i have her text to show you we are corresponding about the cd pick up, could i just give my drivers license and sign for it? She again with a very condescending tone said NO and proceeded to let me know that "I tell the girls all the time that they need to have these forms filled out properly by patients!" Apparently because she's the boss! Give me a break! I mean how many people are going to walk in off the street and just know that a medical record or cd has been copied and is waiting for some unnamed person to walk in and know every detail about the patient, the injury the parents etc and request it. I left there upset at the way my daughter was treated on the telephone and way Marlene treated me in person & for inconveniencing our family period! I left without the cd. There is way to treat people kind, a way to explain things so people don't get unnecessarily upset, an exception could have been made and i will tell you why...A day & a half later my daughter walked in to that very same lobby and the really nice ( guy or girl ) i will not name so I don't get that person in hot water, kindly asked my daughter what she was there to pick up and she told him, ( he or she) handed it directly to her and said have a wonderful day! OMG! REALLY!!! Did Marlene really have to treat both my daughter and myself with such disrespect and authority? The answer is no , she is rude and power hungry at her job, probably a miserable person in her daily life and wants to spread some of her misery around, ok rant over, so make sure if you need your medical records after using West Hernando & need someone else to pick them up for you that you fill out your paperwork properly, check the right boxes and be sure your signature is " readable " (smh) Her statement about my daughters signature is ignorant! read more

First time here. The staff was friendly and helpful. I needed my MRI disc. I called and they said sure we have it for you. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it there to pick it up. Great experience with an MRI. Never had one before and wasn't certain what to expect. The person doing the test let me know what to expect and kept checking on me in the process...very comforting. My doctor said the report got to him quickly (thank goodness!). It didn't hurt that the results were good, too! Recommend them for tests. read more

This place is a joke! Rude, (Mary Ann) called me "a bitch with dogs" to another associate on the phone regarding duplicating my films on a CD and time frame to get done. Quoted me 4 hours, lol!! Physician that ordered said my MRI was some of the worst films he has ever seen! Waited two hours to get order in house after making appt weeks before and finally made the call myself and had the order within 10 Office Mgr was to relay message to call and conveniently they were out sick and after a follow up, still no call!! The technician was good. The person who writes the report fon the x-ray is incompetent! I went for arthritis related foot x-ray. Knew foot was not broken or injured. Part of report said "no arthritic change". What does that mean?? This was first foot x-ray. Report makes No sense! Not the first Bad experience with this location! read more

I have many MRIs, Ct scans and X-rays at West Hernando Diagnostic over the past twenty years. Having different insurances over these past years, they had worked very hard to accommodate my insurances idiocies, making sure I got the best care no matter what. When my doctors order a test, I tell them I only go to West Hernando Diagnostic, their replies are good because they know they will get the reports quickly. read more

My experience was only with billing and the front office! The young lady at the front office was very nice. However, they were not willing to set up a payment plan and mandated that I pay my entire copay up front. My biggest complaint is that they tried to tell me that ALL diagnostics centers would do the same. However, this is not true and Spring Hill MRI Set up a payment plan and got me on the same week! I would NOT recommend using West Hernado MRI!! read more

I sit here annoyed that instead of writing a good review that I am instead going to warn people who enjoy being treated nicely and respectfully about their MRI technician named Toni. I have been to this location many times and the one good thing that stands out is the tech that does the mammograms as she was very warm and extremely nice. I tried real hard not to let another person "Toni" ruin my day or affect me but my upset over her would not go away. She did her job like a robot (I pray the robot was at least qualified doing her job)...She treated me like a brick wall or as though I was invisible. It's somewhat difficult to explain her treatment of me as it was not abuse, it was her attitude! Toni should not be interacting with people until she takes a course on how patients should be treated. She did not introduce herself, she did not reply to good morning, she would not smile no matter how many times I smiled at her. She acted like I was dumb when I asked if the headphones could be adjusted as they were not fitting good. She said "yeah it's right there" (I wish I could let you all hear her superior attitude) She told me to leave my purse with her in the control area because it wouldn't fit in their lockers, she said "I'm going to be right here" again with an attitude I wish you all could hear. I'm not implying that she was going to take anything but I wasn't comfortable leaving it free as my diamond ring & wedding band was in it along with other expensive items. I'm mad at myself for not speaking up but she already had me intimidated. I was now in kiss up mode because she was so mean, mean is one good way to describe her. I could go on about every little thing from the time she had me on the table (didn't explain anything, didn't offer music through the headphones (maybe they didn't have it to offer) but again I didn't ask because she was being so darn rude! It was like I was a bother and since Toni didn't know me long enough to discover she didn't like me so I can only assume she treats all patients with rude authority. She didn't say how long it would take or why a patient would even need ear phones. I am grateful that I have had many MRI's in the past, and I knew exactly what to expect because had I been new to this test I would have been scared, especially the loud banging noises that occur during an MRI. I had about 20 or thirty minutes of lying in that machine to just relax and get through it and all I could think about was how rude this technician named Toni was. When the test was done and I sat up, I was not the pleasant person that went in that tube and hoped she could feel my irritation with her as I became silent and did not say good bye or have a nice day etc etc ....very sad that Toni felt the need for power and control or just a miserable person. I didn't need a song & dance with over the top kindness but I surely didn't deserve to be treated like a child who's mommy was upset with them. MRI's cost a lot of money and I wouldn't give West Hernando diagnostic another dime unless she was dealt with or let go. I was going to just tell her how rude she was but I fought the urge! If Toni reads this review she will figure out just who I am based on my story. There are many other centers in this Spring Hill area to choose from so take my advice and do not go there for an MRI if Toni is the technician. She simply operates an MRI machine and moves you out like a number. I'm still mad at myself can you tell....Ugggh I wish I could report her to someone that cares about their facility enough to take action or loose money. She won, she got to me or I wouldn't have taken all this time to vent!! Misery loves company. Go at your own risk!!! read more

The receptionist was less than friendly but worse, did not communicate about the process or potential wait time. I came for X-rays which don't require an appointment. The hour wait was bad but there were only two people ahead of me. I'm still confused as to why it took so long when each of us took less than 5 minutes after being called back. The next time I need X-rays, I'll be looking elsewhere to get them done. read more

The front desk staff is wonderful. The same can't be said for the Mammogram tech. Someone in that position should at least have a little understanding and compassion. I won't go back again. read more

Lori did my first mammogram today. She was absolutely wonderful. She explained everything and was extremely gentle.

This facility did not contact anyone about being closed today. It would have been good customer service to do this but a member of my family has also had abysmal customer service. My testing required fasting and it would have been nice to know the center would be closed and needed to reschedule. I plan to tell my physician that a large company like this does not even do the courteous simple customer service and ask why I should go there. read more

I just received a billing statement in the mail today (07/30/2018) saying this is the second notice, my problem is 1)that there is no return envelop to send a check and 2) I never received a first notice. read more

I went into the scheduling office on 3/15/18 to schedule appointments for both a mammogram and bone density test. The scheduler reviewed my file to make sure that they had my correct contact information - which they did. At no time did she indicate that I owed any past due balance. She assured me that no co-payments would be due and we scheduled the tests for 4/2/18. When I arrived on 4/2/18 I was told by the receptionist that unless I paid a past due balance of $250 right then and there I would not be allowed to have the tests. When I said I didn't know anything about a past due balance she proceeded to spell my name, recite my address and phone number aloud while several people were in the waiting room. I told her that there must be some mistake and that I never received any bill regarding a past due balance. She then loudly stated the date and test that I had performed for all to hear. Not having $250 and not knowing anything about a supposed balance due I told the young lady that I wanted my paperwork back. When she returned the prescription written by my doctor it had the date, procedure and supposed past due balance written on it in bright blue ink rendering it useless. When I brought this to her attention she told me that I could put a sticky note on it and make a photocopy of it. I'll never go back there again. read more

Today I took my wife for an x-ray of her hips. For starters the doctor ordered an x-ray of her pelvis. He should have ordered an x-ray of her right hip. A pelvic x-ray does show the hips, but not as detailed as a hip x-ray focusing on the specific hip. I told this to the person at the front desk. You would think they would check on that. They didn't. But that's not the worst part. The x-ray tech, "Shirley" who would not give me her last name, did not have a clue what she was doing. Let me start a list: 1. She did not put a clean sheet on the table 2. I helped her get my wife onto the table. Take in mind my wife is a 53yr old woman who may have had a fractured hip and this women is asking her to move into position as if she were a twenty year old girl getting mad that she couldn't move. 3. This woman wanted my wife to move over to the center of the table and she couldn't understand why she couldn't move. I had to show Shirley how to put a sheet under her in order to slide her into position. 4. As I was walking to go into the booth where Shirley was, she took the x-ray with me still in the room. She should be fired for that alone. 5. She had to repeat the x-ray because it didn't come out right. 6. When trying to get my wife off of the table she wasn't going to use a stool. I had to tell her we need the stool because the table is too high. I was an x-ray technician and supervisor of a ct scan dept. for over 20yrs. in my opinion this woman does not have the knowledge of standard operative procedures for an x-ray tech. she should be either fired or her superiors should have her get the proper training. She claims she has been there for ten years. I think that is ten years too long. I spoke to the manager "crystal". what a waste of time that was. Does anybody at this facility ever check to see if these people know what the hell they are doing? read more
