Egor is the best Sub Zero technician I've ever used. My subzero refrigerator is 23 years old and had a repair a few years ago. I have had the problem of not getting cold enough temperature in the fridge for more than a month and was trying to get it fixed by watching the maintenance videos from YT. But no luck. I called Egor and explained the situation and in 5 minutes he told me I need to change the evaporator. He didn't even come to check it out, while others were asking 75-100 dollars to diagnose the problem. 2 days later, he got the replacement part. And whuala, it is the problem and the fix. Beyond that he identified the previous quick and dirty fix to the compressor's starter combo, which may shorten the life of the compressor. He not only fixed the it with proper parts and included it in the repair work. He is such a nice guy! Egor is so responsible and responsive from the very beginning, being well communicating, scheduling, on time. He is not only experienced but also detailed minded and very neat and focused in workmanship. He explained why he does things certain ways to assure the quality of his work. Egor is the best Viking freezer repair person I have dealt with in the many years since I have owned my refrigerator and freezer combo. He is reliable and communicates effectively. He is extremely knowledgeable about the appliance in question and will quote both parts and labor charge before working. [In fact, when the job was completed he said his quote was actually larger than it came out to be!] He encouraged me to call if there was any issue thereafter and when I contacted him the next day he immediately responded and addressed the issue. I chose Egor because he had such great reviews. I can confirm all of them. He came right when he promised and was very nice. We had a problem with a light switch on our sub zero and also wanted to make sure it was operating properly since our freezer got a little hotter than it should when I was using my oven all day. He found the problem with the overheating and told us how to fix it. Unfortunately, to replace the light switch we need to remove a piece of a cabinet which he doesn't do. We need our handyman to do this for us. So instead of coming back, and charging us again, he left us with a switch for our handyman to replace which he said is very easy. When we first called he said there would be a service charge of about $100. When he was leaving, he told us to only send him $50 for the visit and the switch. What a great guy. I am a Realtor and was in need of an estimate to repair a subzero in home I am selling to my buyer. I called this company because of their excellent reviews. I left a voice mail and Egor promptly called back. He answered all my questions and was able to make an appt for the next day. He showed up on time (I'm not used to that I must say) He spent an hour at the house, and very carefully explained the problems and issues with the sub zero. My buyer is responsible for the repair and Egor could have easily tried to convince us to repair this refrigerator. He was so honest, explaining to us that due to some damage from scraping ice out of the bottom, it perhaps was not best to repair. He recommended my buyer purchase a new frig. For my 18 year old Sub Zero refrigerator, I contacted and spoke with over 5 different refrigerator repair businesses, all with 5-star reviews on Yelp. Most of them, after asking and hearing about the details of the refrigerator's issues and completed repairs (it already had its circuit board and thermistors repaired), would ghost me and not return phone calls. Some of them would tell me their repair advice, recommend also replacing the refrigerator, and politely decline performing a service call.
