Our freezer stopped worked so we called aloha repair. They were professional and had availability same day and next day. The repairman texted me to give me an eta. He explained the work that needed to be done and the timeline. Cost was in line with what Reddit said for similar work. We didn't end up doing the work as we opted for a new fridge (turns out the current one was 30 yrs old). The service fee was $85. Had we done the repair the fee would be applied to the final bill. read more

Unless someone is exceptionally good ( or bad), I don't write reviews. But Mike went above and beyond the call of duty. I had a Sub 0 which had been in storage for a couple of years. It was no longer functioning and I had paid two other companies to take a look, both wanted more money without diagnosing the problem. ***Second update*** I have received numerous calls from Aloha Appliances badgering me to remove my review. They even had the original technician call me to advise that I "got him fired" because of my negative review. I now know why they only have 5 star reviews. They pester you until you take it down. Thermador came out to fix the issues Aloha Technician stat d we need to spend $890 for. It only needed to have a new filter replaced. The off market one I purchased caused the problem. Everything is running tip top. I didn't have to spend a ton of money and Thermador performed the work FREE OF CHARGE because they were sorry the appointment took so long to make. That's what a reputable company does when they want to keep you as a customer. read more

The technician accurately identified the problem and there was a challenge in getting the refrigerator out of its area. I can only assume that the good reviews here are all from friends of the owners. I scheduled an appointment for Friday. They said the tech would be here between 12-3pm. At 1:23pm, I texted to find out when they expected to arrive. I got a call back an hour and a half later, at 2:49pm, from Kevin apologizing for not showing up and asked what time I could do it on Monday. I said I could do 10am-12pm on Monday, but that was it. After 12pm I have meetings and I would be in a meeting until 10am. He stated that he would be at my door at 10am. I confirmed that it would be him and not some other tech that would be here. Of course, 10am came and nobody was here. I called Kevin at 10:24am to ask what time he planned on being here. He answered the phone "Hello?" It sounded like he just woke up. This was for a refrigerator malfunction. It's not something you can spend days rescheduling several times because the company you trust just doesn't show up. read more

We contacted Aloha Appliance Repair as we thought our new-ish Sub Zero Refrigerator needed service to the ice maker. Andy was the best! He was prompt, honest, and knowledgable. He quickly assessed the situation & clearly explained what was happening with our ice maker. He then educated us on how we could remove condensation that had built up after the door hadn't been closed properly. He also gave advice on keeping an older Thermador stove in good condition. I know I'm critical in reviews and have to be reasonable as well (cost). 1 1/2 week before Christmas, my oven malfunctioned so I called in and they were fully booked thru end of the year. I left a msg anyway and then Rosie called and said because my problem may be minor, and they will try to squeeze me in. I appreciate that. They came out and had the oven fixed in about an hour or so. I never have problem with appliances so this is my first. Not sure if they are expensive but they charged me $60 for coming out and $45 for labor. I think it was reasonable (as long as you don't know how simple the problem was). Tom was very nice, and Rosie as well. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for some nice people repairing your stuff. read more

Oh my goodness, I cannot thank this appliance repair service enough. Mark arranged for Andre to come over to my home the same day I called in order to diagnose my Samsung 2018 refrigerator issues. I had been waiting for 3 weeks for Samsung's contracted company to at least check my fridge but nothing. The problem was resolved and now everything is great. By the way, no new parts were needed. If it weren't for Mark, the despatcher, and Andre, the technician, who is absolutely amazingly intuitive and intelligent, I'd still be here waiting for Samsung's contracted company to show up without cooling refrigeration. The tech arrived on time and repaired the ice maker rather than doing a more costly replacement.
