At the hotel lobby elevator, make sure you press 2 on "Union building" and not the "Union Hotel", and then follow the signs. You get slippers and robe and the best part is, there are no restrictions as to how much clothing you would like to keep throughout the spa. The waiting room is cozy, relaxing and has LED masks to use while you wait with light snacks and drinks. The facial was very relaxing, they let you choose your aromas. I asked if they had libations and she offered a mimosa. Perfect. I sat in their beautiful and quiet room before and after my massage. Most spas don't have a simple relaxation room with comfortable chairs. I feel like this is one of the more important parts of a spa. The fireplace was perfect, as well as the choice of snacks and drinks. But the star of the show was Laurie. She actually listened to what I wanted and gave me the massage I asked for. Most therapists ask what you want and then end up doing their routine anyway. She was fantastic. All the staff were great. Who knew this small spa in Indiana would be one of my favorites in the country?

My friend and I wanted to get a last minute pedicure together so we walked in with no appointment -…read moremind you this is July 2020 so COVID panic is still in the air. They were willing to accommodate us as best they could and offered to do one pedicure at a time, but we opted to come back in an hour so we could get our pedicures done together. We wasted some time around the area at stores like Vons then made our way back to the nail salon. When we arrived we were instructed to choose a nail polish color and then shown to a comfortable massage chair. The facility was very clean, water was perfect and hot, and the pedicure was incredibly relaxing. Our nail hosts were kind and asked us funny questions to make us feel comfortable. They also did an incredible job with a foot and leg massage, gentle exfoliation, and hot towels wrap. I really enjoyed my experience here and would hands down come back again. My nails were on point and my skin was soft and smooth afterwards. I also got to see the staff deep clean the chairs and surrounding area right after our pedicures and I was very impressed at how throughly they cleaned. Would definitely recommend visiting!
