Visiting from San Diego, and I always make sure to get my acrylics with gel done by Sophia and my pedicure by Bush. They're an amazing duo and always get me in and out in a reasonable amount of time without sacrificing quality. Sophia has been doing nails since the 1990s, and her experience with acrylics really shows. Bush genuinely enjoys doing pedicures, and he's fantastic at it! I've come here many time, whenever we visit my in laws from Chicago. It's probably the cleanest and nicest looking nail spot in town (at least that I've come across). I usually have to wait a little especially on the weekends but yesterday was ridiculous. I had a 1pm mani/pedi and showed up on time, there were probably 10 people waiting for services....not a good sign. I waited for 10 mins up front then got sat at a pedicure chair where I was left to soak my feet for 35 minutes!!! No one checked on me, told me someone would see to me soon, nothing. I was about to get up and leave when someone came at 1:45pm. The pedicure was good, no issues there but was not happy that it took so long to get my service because I needed to leave by 2:45 as we were heading to a concert in Indy. While getting my pedicure the nail tech kept slamming my feet down had to tell him to stop he didn't even ask me which package I wanted just started giving me a pedicure so I was like can I see what pedicures you give so I can choose what I want?! Got my nails done now they aren't even long I got pointed & she up charged me for medium nails and on top of that I wanted ombré nails to match my pedicure..she didn't listen & picked the wrong color. I had the photo out for her of the color I wanted which would've matched my toes. Kept drilling my nails til they hurt. While putting the nails on and shaping them had me put my nails in the dryer and it burned like hell had to tell her look this is burning she was like wait..no you need to spray something on so it stops burning. Truly a horrible experience! Won't ever go back here or recommend them. Not relaxing at all. Nothing Spa-like about it. Rudest experience I've had in a while; they rolled their eyes at me, ignored my questions, literally grunted to tell me to switch hands, and didn't tell me any prices. I had to ask for my total and because I'm a tipper, I did tip... though I shouldn't have. They even switched techs in the middle without referencing it, asking me, or anything. Worst of all, my cuticles are dry and stringy, the nails are lumpy and thick, and they ran a rough file over the edges right before I left so they're rough. I came in for a manicure and pedicure. Everything was rushed. The nail tech didn't even soak my fingernails in the water, but for a second. I didn't even have time for a back massage in the chair. The same nail tech took my feet out the water, as soon as I set down. I felt I didn't get the same quality as the other customers but I paid the same price. So when I first came in I had an ok experience I had tru (she was the second to last lady on the nail line) I asked for a matte finish and she tried sending me off with a gloss finish then when I said hey sorry I asked for matte she was like oh ok and she put the matte coat over it and they started chipping 2 days after but they held up relatively well. So I made an appt for a month out and unfortunately I ran in to an emergency family issue and I completely blanked my nail appointment and when I went in a week later when I finally had time I apologized and explained what had happed and they placed me with the same nail tech and when I tell you she did an absolute horrible job on my nails I cried when I got out to my car my nails were completely crooked when I would run my fingers thro my hair they would catch under the nail up by my cuticle. She also drilled way too far down in my nail beds (to the point the polish was touching my RAW nail bed and the set I have on now still has dark blue under it because the nail tech didn't feel comfortable filling that far down!!!). My physical nail was peeling under the acrylic!! I definitely regret tipping her as well as I did. I definitely will not be returning. The only reason for the 2nd star is because it was a clean establishment. Unhappy with how my last experience there was handled. I've gotten many gel manicures over the years, at LNS as well as other salons, and never has it held up so poorly. I noticed same day that my nails were still has flimsy feeling as my bare nail. The polish flexed, cracked, and started chipping off by the second day. I called to schedule them to be fixed. A sixty dollar gel manicure does not behave like normal polish. I came in the week after and was told it was because my "nails are thin" and that I should do dip instead. No. It's not why. My nails have always been thin - my gel manicures have never been flimsy and chipping one week in. Someone did their work incorrectly. They took off the "gel" and applied a dip polish.... And then tried to charge me $60. Absolutely not. I argued that I was there to have their mistake corrected and would not be paying that. Whoever was managing told me they could do $25. That is insane. Why are customers charged even more to correct YOUR mistake. I will not be back here. Not to mention I was charged five dollars more on my original service than what their menu states the price is. That was the second time I've have to dispute original costs. I had a rare moment away from my toddler for a little mommy time and I was a walk in. Went in 2 days ago for a deluxe pedicure and basic manicure. The pedicure was really nice, enjoyed it and would probably return for another. The manicure, however, was AWFUL!! Cut my nails short as I asked, slapped clear polish on, that was it. Charged me $20. No filing to shape the nail. No cuticles pushed back or trimmed. Not a simple smear of lotion. I just have powder put over my real nails, I came out with them too short, GLUE ON MY FINGER, and gunk under my nails, THEN to TOP THAT OFF, they are cracking already, the White tip is breaking away from nail! I wasn't wild about my experience here. It looks like they book more people they can handle, even with an appointment. I arrived for my appointment on time but wasn't actually serviced for my pedicure until 45 minutes later. I definitely spent more time there than I had intended. The lady working on my pedicure didn't make it terribly comfortable--the nail-clipping was definitely painful a few times and had me on edge. Additionally, I booked a signature pedicure, which had some additional pampering included but I don't think I even received that. I think I wound up with the standard pedicure and was charged that amount. I will be exploring other nail spas after this experience. read more

I am upset about writing this review but after 2 years of coming here, I am leaving. I started with gels two years ago and slowly got used to acrylics. I usually leave them longer than most people; I would get them redone every 4 weeks. My set in May 2023 only lasted 3 weeks before several nails began to separate from my natural nail; it was the first time that had ever happened to me, but I figured that was just a blip on the radar after 2 years of good nails. I went back and had a completely new set put on. They lasted 12 days until another nail began to separate from my natural nail, and it was quite painful. I tried using nail glue at home, but not only did the glue not work, the nail came almost completely off, forcing me to clip/pull it off. This is especially upsetting bc I am leaving for a conference in 3 days, and I don't have time to fix my nails. Now I have one ruined-looking fingernail and the rest are acrylic. They over book and don't put priority on their clients with appointments, it is disrespectful and a waste of clients time. Why make an appointment? They also don't have a comfortable waiting area, the chairs are uncomfortable & there are not enough seats to hold the mass of people waiting for their overbooked appointments. I understand if they are sorry, but they need to work towards saying no to walk-ins when it will layover into appointments and manage their time better. When they are done with your nails, it is a little confusing at first as they leave you to dry them (if needed). most of the time in my experience, there is no timer or heads up when they should be dry, then I confusingly wander to the front desk to pay. A friend recommended this place to me last year and I have been 3-4 times, the last time in May of 2023. From the beginning I was disappointed with the wait time and the EXTREMELY uncomfortable broken massage chairs in the waiting area (there are 2-3 normal straight back chairs that are fine), but figured I'd look past that since my friend recommended it. Every time I've gone I've asked for a gel manicure. They grind off the old polish with a Dremel-type sander, sanding my nail bed (already thin from the gel polish) down as well, then slapped the polish on. That's it. There is no soaking of the cuticle, pushing it back, no lotion massage, just a very light tip filing and done! Nothing spa-like at all!! The quality of manicures in the area has gone way down, so although I didn't like it, I figured this is what I would get anywhere. I've only complained when they let me walk out with polish on my skin and I didn't notice until I was at the car. They did clean it off when I went back inside. The pedicures have always been pretty good, so I put up with the sub par manicures. HOWEVER, at my last appointment in May 2023, while I had my eyes closed during my pedicure (trying to relax), the technician (male) cut the side of my big toenail so far back it was painful! There wasn't anything I could do about it then but watch that he didn't cut the others too short (he didn't). I grossly underestimated just how far back he cut my toenail, though, and within a week was in pain! I didn't call them back because there was nothing they could do to fix it, and I knew I was never going back again! However, I have been dealing with an ingrown toenail now for 5 MONTHS!!! I am in DAILY pain, and where the nail was cut next to the skin is barely growing! I have trimmed the length of the main nail several times and tried to pull the short end of the nail over the skin as it grows out, but the part by the cuticle is barely growing!!! After 5 months of pain I am considering going to see a podiatrist to see just how much damage was done to my toenail!! RUN, do not walk, RUN from this place if you value your health!! They are more interested in getting as many people in and out of the chairs as they can, than giving a quality, safe manicure/pedicure! read more

I came here a couple months ago and was so impressed with the two women who did my mani and pedi. I wish I knew who did my mani, but Nancy did my pedi and was SO thorough with her work. I went back yesterday and this was not the case with Jade. I asked for the Signature pedicure. She gave me the Basic and then overcharged me by $15. I pointed out to the receptionist that I wasn't given the upgrade and she asked if I had something different put on my toes. All I did was choose a color from the colors I was given. If I chose something different, I wasn't aware because they failed to make me aware. It was extremely hurried, and overall it really seemed like I was an afterthought to her. She didn't even put the sanitizer tabs in the water that turn it blue. She spent practically no time removing the callouses from my feet.
