I'll be honest, I had reservations about driving to Ravenna for a winery, but I am happy to report that we had such a good time here! I 100% recommend you check this place out! Downtown Ravenna is actually pretty quaint. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon right when they opened at 2pm. We were told they open late because they stay open longer. We were the first ones inside and picked a table by the bar. We brought our own little meat and cheese plate since they don't serve food here. My friend and I tried their flight which included six wines or beers and two slushies! Such a good deal! The pumpkin beer and the apple pie slushie were probably my favorites, but they had several tasty wines as well. Service was great. I did hear that there is some story about a ghost dog or something, I will have to ask them about this next time I visit.

Brand new winery in ravenna. Street parking and take a walk down main st. This winery is 6 months young. Plenty of seating and wonderful ambiance. My song and I chose to sit at the bar and so some tastings. I chose 3 drys and Andrew chose 3 sweets. We enjoyed learning where they get the grapes from and make the wine. And we had plenty to choose from in regards to bringing a bottle for Thanksgiving They do not have food so you are more than welcome to grab a pizza or whatever you want. And there is entertainment in the evenings. We plan on coming again and staying for the evening. A quick note. They do offer 2 types of wine slushies.

We came in on a Thursday and just wow. The owners were there and came over and talked to us the whole time. Sharing the history of the building and explaining the names of the wines and also giving us tips on how to drink the different wines to change the flavors or bring out the flavors of the wine. Everyone was so friendly and made you truly feel welcomed. The wine was so good we left with a case! There is a case discount of 10% special going on right now.

Cute little place in Ravenna and we are definitely going back! We popped in during our camping stay at West Branch. Glad we did. We got a little explanation on the place and a bottle of wine to go. Next time we will stay awhile! Great service. We bought a bottle of the Açaí wine and it's so good! When we went there was a food truck there but we had already eaten. Next time! Can't wait to go back.

    Music on Saturday night.

This little winery is absolutely adorable and has decent wine too! They even has some dry reds that I enjoy. If your significant other prefers craft beers, well they make those too. A win win! It is owned and operated by a vet and his family. They are all hard working and sweet people! You can order a pizza here or just a couple of doors down is an amazing Italian restaurant, Guidos who will deliver to your table. They also have live music on the weekends and if your into karaoke, check them out on Wednesdays.

I love this place! Lots of variety. There's a wine for every palate. We also hosted a grad party at this location, they were more than accommodating. It's a really chill place. No stuffy wine snobs here! They even have live jazz playing some nights. It's a really romantic spot. Definitely come and have a glass and take a bottle home with you. Also... they have wine slushees in the summer! Do much fun! Definitely come with friends!

We had dinner from Guidos, which is just a few doors down, they deliver to your table, and it was excellent, as usual.

If you're looking for great BBQ with generous portions and amazing taste, this place is definitely worth a visit. The young lady working mentioned that it was their first day at Mastropietro Winery with her husband. They were both incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. Everyone in our group really enjoyed the food and the experience. We hope they'll be back again soon!

A Long Overdue Return to Mastropietro Winery…read more We finally made it back to Mastropietro Winery after seven years--and what a perfect day for it. It was a quiet winter afternoon, but with a surprising twist: a hot and sunny 77-degree day that felt more like early summer than mid-winter. Naturally, we took advantage of the weather and enjoyed our wine outside, soaking in the sunshine and peaceful atmosphere. I realized I'd never taken a photo in front of the iconic Mastropietro sign--so this visit felt long overdue in more ways than one. We sampled several wines during our visit, and I was really impressed. The Vidal Blanc stood out right away--off-dry, estate-grown, with just a touch of oak that gave it a subtle, elegant complexity. The Riesling was bright and delicious, and the Cabernet was smooth and easy to enjoy. But the real star for me was the Chambourcin--absolutely fantastic! If I heard correctly, it's 100% Chambourcin and estate-grown as well, which made it all the more special. Mastropietro continues to impress, and this visit reminded me why it's such a gem. Cheers to great wine, unexpected weather, and coming back to places that feel like home.

The winery is changing the vibe of this neighborhood for the better. Majority of the neighbors love it here and the winery is creating jobs for people in the immediate area, which is needed and wonderful. They source their hybrid vines which are grafted, from Cornell University grapes. Their wines have great names such as Swoon, Sassy, or Crimson! All the wine is cold pressed and made on site. They quark all their wine and make about 5,000 bottles per year. Mansfield Frazier is the owner with his lovely wife Brenda. They personally run the joint and take great care of their costumers and wine. I was here for a 20+ person event with the Cornell Alumni Club and they did a fabulous job accommodating everyone! There is plenty of parking and space to walk around outside. There is a bit of seating inside and very knowledgeable staff around to talk about their products. Their hours of operation vary so you should call the number on the door and the owner could possibly be there in minutes. 216-438-0964 They do not have snacks for sale at the moment, but you are welcome to bring your own to eat inside. FYI - In the future they would love to take down the old abandon building, which was once a church next door and grow the wine making facility with a gift shop, market and better space to host more costumers. If interested in supporting this new Cleveland biz - come visit!
