Wondering if you provide hearing aids for Oticon Opn, Oticon more, Oticon real? What are the costs. How long is warranty for loss damage repairs. Would the batteries & supplies replenished covered. Thx so much! Cindy

Hi Cindy. We do work with Oticon hearing aids. The best thing to do is to schedule an appointment with one of our Audiologists to discuss options. Please call 617-332-7244 to make an appointment.

It's obviously tailored towards the hearing impaired and making a sale but I found the doctor to be very friendly and extremely informative. He spoke to my grandmother and I with kindness but also with respect. More often then not a doctor will talk to the person who drove to the appointment instead of the patient. This did not happen on our visit. She was tested and fitted and all of her medical records had been received prior to her appointment which made this appointment extra informative and helpful for both her and I. I like this place because they offer follow up appointments, fittings, free batteries and someone to call when you aren't happy. Her previous hearing aid store fitted her and sent her on her way and never offered any sort of follow up opportunity. This is a problem if hearing loss fluctuates at all. She ended up purchasing a set and came back for a few follow up appointments. They have called to check up on her a few times which is a relief for the family because they can help more then we can. Plus this guy is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. A Longhorn fan is always a plus in my book!

Luckily I saw an ad for EAR and made an appointment. I believe it is the single most important medical appointment i've ever made in my life. If you are reading this, you probably know what living with tinnitus is like. It is unbearable.. and finally, at long last, there is an answer! And it is right in Newton, MA ! Presently there is no 'cure' (and there may never be one) - but Enhanced Auditory Resources makes it possible to live with the life-altering diagnosis of tinnitus. There are no words to describe what it is like to have my life and sanity back - all due to E.A.R.

I had not been in for a few years (living out-of-state during Covid made it impossible), but had an emergency with my ear earlier this week created by a mistake at my new PCP's office (note to self: continue search for new PCP). I called Dr. Vernick's office the next day and spoke with Anna - we had a nice chat, she told me she joined the office a couple of months ago and helped me get in ASAP. She recommended I see Mary, the office's RN, and was able to make an appt for me first-thing the following morning. Mary was amazing, looked at both ears to see what happened and then explained in nice, easy-to-understand terms what happened and what to do. My pharmacy let me know 6 hours later (!!!) that one of the two prescriptions she ordered for me was unavailable, so I called the office to go with option #2. I left a message for Mary, she called me back a few minutes later and sent in the next request. I have a follow-up with Mary in two weeks, and am starting to feel a little better after just starting 2 antibiotics. A BIG thank you to Anna and Mary!!

My father, who is 95, has severe hearing loss and has been seeing Paul Dole at Flynn Associates for many years for his hearing aids and evaluations. It had been some time since my father was in, both hearing aids were lost at a recent stay for care and it took time to gather funds for new ones. It was my first time bringing my father to his appointment and it was a pleasure to meet Paul. He's friendly and inviting and he offered for me to sit in on the appointment. I enjoyed watching him test and fit my father for the new hearing aids. The two were like old friends which I found touching. At the end of the appointment Paul asked my father if he could hear him and he said yes. Paul then said "welcome back" and my father said thanks and they both chuckled. That was one of those moments I won't forget. My father could hear again. Words I put here could never relay how significant that is for him, the family, medical people and those he meets in public. Paul recently was generous with his time when there was an issue with a part on one of the hearing aids and I was very grateful for his quick remedy of it. I highly recommend Flynn Associates for their expertise and for their caring and friendly service. My father and I look forward to seeing Paul in 2023!

I understood exactly what was happening at every step of the way. Truly, this is what hearing care should be like. I came to Parkway Hearing because I was dissatisfied with the care given by the audiologist that my insurance referred me to. Dr. Ulrich was head and shoulders above that experience. I brought my own hearing aids which had been dispensed a few months before, and--after giving me a full intake so she wasn't relying on poor information--she completely tuned them so they now feel like much better aids! She didn't rush me, and we worked as a team to make sure I can hear my best. I feel confident placing my trust and my hearing in her care, and will be returning to her frequently to ensure that we together stay on top of things. Dr. Ulrich and her practice exceeded my expectations. I had a very pleasant experience.
