Joanna and her team are top notch. The salon is beautiful and clean and they make you feel relaxed and do an amazing job. Whether it's a regular Mani Pedi or gel or designs, they are amazing and true artists. We also had a nail spa party here and that was also very impressive. I have been going here for years and I cannot believe the lack of professionalism that was shown today. I went to get a UV gel fill and the lady who was doing my nails sliced my finger open. It bled actively for about 8-10 minutes and kept bleeding. The owner came over and held a paper towel on my finger and kept dabbing it. After a while she told me to come back another day so they could finish the job and I told them I could not as I don't live in the area and travel just to get my nails done there so I just asked them to just put the polish on my nails. I am not even blaming the woman who did my nails as I know it was an accident but to make someone pay full price after that experience is unbelievable. I will not be going back. read more

I've tried this place a few times now because their prices are very affordable but the dip powder cracks under the sealant within a few days of getting them done. Overall, I'd say the quality of the dip powder is poor and very brittle. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I'm not sure about other services they provide but I wouldn't get dip powder here again. read more

I am SO happy that I found Joanna's Nails!! I had been looking for a while for a salon in Rockland where good hygiene was a priority along with friendly and talented staff! Salon is fairly large and clean. Major drawback is that they don't accept credit cards. They are only accepting gift cards and cash. We called prior to making the trip. We ended up going somewhere else. Its 2022, swiping and cashless are standards. read more

As the pandemic was ongoing and business as it was slowly opening I found this salon on Google and it was close to my boyfriends house. I made an appointment with them the exact same day I found them. Which was amazing. Once I arrived they took me right away. They checked my temperature and asked me to wash my hands immediately. Mask are required. Which made me feel at ease. Joanna the owner is absolutely amazing. She's super friendly and very professional and told me what was best for my nails which made my real nails really strong. I had a pedicure done as well and the girls there are just absolutely professional and amazing. The place is so clean lots of nail polish colors Including gel polish color powder and much more. including gel polish color powder and much more. I haven't had one bad visit there and I've been going there for over two months now and will continue. I'm so happy that I love the salon because I'm thinking of moving to the area soon and it's amazing to have a wonderful salon like this one to go to. That's a good job and service. Finally. Usually nail places are either too expensive ornot a good job or bad service and I had actually stopped doing my nails for over 6 months. Who has time for that lol but I felt like going for a drive and called in prior to going in and I'm glad I did. Wouldn't recommend this place, seems as though they charge prices off the top of their head and is way too overpriced. I went and got short french tip manicure and was told the price was $81. I asked why it's $81 and was told because of the designs I added... But there are no designs and it's just a plain basic french tip. clean salon, but the woman who did my nails had a rough demeanor and hurt my nailbeds. I had asked her three times to be gentle, and she continued to be rough. The outcome was decent nails but, the experience was not great. The owner is nice though. Wear a jacket it is cold inside. read more

Have been getting manicures and pedicures for 41 years. First time there I got a manicure and a pedicure oh and did I mention they also threw in a free fungal infection that cost me several hundred dollars at the foot doctor to get rid of. Needless to say I will never go back there. Gel manicure polish chipped on the 2nd day. I never had that happen either. Needless to say a lot of money down the drain read more

I wanted to like this place as my favorite spot in congers closed but sadly three of my nails are already chipping from a gel manicure done 3 days ago. While I was there the lady getting her nails done behind me was complaining of the same thing and getting hers fixed. Sadly won't be back. Awesome location. read more

I've been coming to this salon for years. The owner, Joanna, is very conscientious and always ensures that her customers are happy with their services. All of the manicurists are kind and skilled. Joanna offers many salon services, including waxing and chair massage. The salon is very clean and spacious. They continue to wear masks and use barriers, including plexiglass partitions and curtains. They also ask us to wash our hands after we walk in, which is great. All of the manicurists have given me terrific powder manicures and spa pedicures. I have never been disappointed...honest! And they are always patient with my prolonged decisions on what colors to pick. Joanna is very flexible with appointments. She always tries to accommodate me, especially if I have to reschedule. I highly recommend her salon to anyone who wants a calm, relaxing, and great experience; to truly feel pampered. Of note, a customer stated in her review that Joanna only accepts cash. I got my nails done twice at West Nyack Joanna Nail and I was disappointed both times. The first time Sandra did my nails. I paid $50.00 for ombré nails. My nails came out white. I told Sandra that I didn't like my nails, she just walked away. I figured that I could get my nails done by another nail technician the second time because this place has great reviews. Well, the second time, the technician didn't know how to shape my nails to the coffin shape. I filed and shaped my nails myself when I got home. I will not return. I don't understand why this place gets so many good reviews. It's very misleading. read more

I have been going to Joanna West Nyack since May 2020 . The salon was renovated in the summer or fall and it is absolutely beautiful with about seven pedicure chairs and new decorations in the salon. The team does a fantastic job with the gel manicures, powder gel and the pedicures which has a menu of about 30 different scent and experiences. I can't say enough good about this nail salon they do designs and decorations and I am so happy to go to West Nyack Joanna Nails! My nails always look beautiful! read more

Went to my first appointment at West Nyack Joanna Nails today and it was a great experience. Maria did an excellent job with my dip powder nails. This is my third time getting dip powder and this is the best my nails have looked with them on. In the past my dip nails were not shiny or the top was bumpy, but Maria was very keen on making my nails look fantastic. I asked for a natural pink and Maria helped me pick out the best color for me! The only reason I am giving them a 4/5 is because they have the same filers for all the clients. I wish they would use new filers for each client. But my overall experience was great! I finally found "my mani/pedi place". Joanna Nails is it. Joanna is welcoming and very talented. My terrible feet look sandal worthy now. Everyone is sweet and helpful. The shop is immaculate and spacious. We all ned that special place where necessary pampering is easy and good! I'll also be buying gift certificates for all the women I know who take care of themselves, knowing that, besides being reasonably priced, they will love the services here. read more

I have been going to West Nyack Joanna Nails for almost 2 years now and I love it! The SNS powder manicure cannot be beat.. I often get almost 3 weeks out of it! Joanna does my nails all the time.. she is so nice and she really truly cares that you are happy with your color choice and how your nails look when you leave. I often get special art work and it always comes out great! Just about every person there has done a pedicure for me... I have never been unhappy... I always feel great and satisfied. The one time I was not happy with the color match of my fingers and toes.. no questions asked... we immediately redid the toe nails. After moving from Virginia to Rockland County a year ago, I had quite the negative experience with nail salons. I was perplexed at the countless number of nail salons available, yet what poor quality they all were! I jumped from place to place, receiving nail jobs (of various types) that would chip within no time! I was frustrated to say the least. That is until I heard of Joanna! I can honestly say that she is THE BEST in Rockland County! I receive the SNS powder and leave with perfect nails that NEVER chip!!! The place is clean and everyone is super friendly. You don't walk in and feel ambushed and rushed like many other places! I am finally done "shopping around" for a place that I am happy with! read more

Today I had the best pedicure by Rosa. she was patient and professional and did a great job! Then I had SNS done by the owner Joanna. she is professional and courteous as well as kind. Her whole staff greets you with a smile! The nail salon is always clean and the atmosphere is cheery! if you haven't gone I highly recommend using them! My Mom and I have been going to Joanna's for several months now. They do a wonderful job! Joanna does my nails. She is very professional, and has a warm and caring way about her. You feel comfortable in her salon. It looks and smells amazing in there every time we go for our appointments. I especially appreciate how clean it is. Joanna is excellent! For the first time in my life I found a salon worth going back to and have now been going to her for SNS for 3 years! I can honestly say I have never left disappointed. I've been a regular at Joanna Nails for about a year now & they never disappoint! I always have a pleasant experience, all the employees are very talented and super friendly. You won't find any other place that can beat their prices & they're very accommodating as far as squeezing you in for last minute appointments.
