We knew from the very beginning that this was going to be a long road to recovery, but he was finally able to "graduate" from PT in October 2025, a whole 11 months after his surgery. We are so thankful to Kyle and all the staff at SportsMedicine Aiea for everything they did for my son to help him gain his strength back in his knee. For a whole 11 months, we spent afternoons there 3 days a week, so it really did feel like family there. The front desk staff was always so friendly and helpful and my son had nothing but nice and positive things to say about the therapists there. It was a bittersweet moment when Dr. Oishi told us he didn't have to go to PT anymore. It was great news to hear, but sad at the same time that we never got to say a proper goodbye to the staff at SportsMedicine. I went there for 3 months and was stuck at 80 degrees. The Doctor then recommended a manipulation under anesthesia and said I needed to go somewhere else for my therapy. I gave in and went to SportsMedicine where I should have gone in the beginning. I was assigned to Steven Tom a professional, knowledgeable, patient and very understanding physical therapist who treats everyone with respect. He had a genuine concern about my other health issues and always inquired on the status. At first I was slow and I resisted taking the initiative to become independent in my routines. Steven and the other therapist steered me towards independent exercises and take ownership for my recover. They all provided me with excellent support and encouragement to move forward. It is a busy place and you might think that you are entirely on you own in your task however, if you are not doing your routines correctly or are hesitant one of the therapist will come over to assist and help with necessary corrective action. They may be busy but they all are aware of what is going on with everyone. The front office have been very accommodating, professional and friendly. I do not want to have this kind of surgery again but if needed I would not hesitate to come here again. Thank Steven and staff.

What a great idea! All Access Ortho is just a couple of blocks from my office, and 5 miles from home. Add to that their 7-days-a-week and late availability for walk-in appointments, and it's all a great setup. On both visits, I needed to have x-rays taken, and it's convenient and fast, right there. The doctor's and nurses I've seen have been kind, efficient and knowledgeable. I liked them enough that I even took my other half there when he needed ortho care. He got good care, as well. Parking is free and right out front, and in a separate, smaller lot from the other shops (Foodland, etc.) on the strip mall, which makes it pretty easy. If the lot gets full, there's lots more closer to the shops, and even street parking very close by. As for billing, I found the pricing no different from any of my other medical visits, using my great insurance.

Dr. Inouye informed us that patient had 3+ fractures showing us on the X-ray taken prior. No surgery needed per her consult with surgeon, no pain meds prescribed. Icing for 20 minutes and OTC Tylenol advised as prescribed pain killers might delay healing. Dr. Inouye is very personable, easy to talk to, she said she doesn't do surgeries and goes every Tuesday to Straub Kapolei. We will continue to come to Pali Momi, Aiea. Return visit in two weeks with more xrays. First time that I can recall hubs will be off work for all 3 holidays this year. He is always working on holidays. He can barely walk nor move his fractured side without severe pain. Just call me, Florence Nightin' Gail- chief chauffeur, cook and body washer. Enjoy your holidays and keep safe. On the fourth floor is QMCWest Ortho and Rehab Center. How convenient!!! It's a one stop place! See your orthopedist and follow up if needed with a physical therapist on the same floor. Appointments for both areas can be made with the ladies at the front desk. Long gone are the ping pong games between different phone numbers, providers and locations. Easy! Annndd: they have X-ray available in ortho too! No CT scan or MRI at this office (that'll have to be done through QMC's Imaging Department and actual procedure(s) to be done at one of their several locations. Front staff have been so helpful and friendly! Physicians are good! From the group I have personally worked with many of them on a professional basis and attest to their capabilities and bedside manner. There are a few new orthopods that are new to me but so far so good with Dr. Chen (fingers crossed). On the rehab side I've been pretty pleased and impressed with my PT's demeanor and treatment. In November 2025, I prepaid several thousand dollars for PRP injections, but after surgery the plan changed and the doctor agreed a refund was owed for injections not received. This was never disputed. Despite that, it took about six months of repeated calls, emails, and office visits to receive the refund. I was told multiple times that the refund had been processed or mailed when it had not. I am sharing this so patients can be aware of the refund process before paying large amounts upfront. Although the Dr. blamed a bad billing company, I was always interacting with his office staff who were clearly communicating with him.

That procedure didn't DO ANYTHING... maybe i should have yelled that I didn't want that procedure done... Anyway, I'm glad Robert B. had a good experience... but maybe i just so happen to be one that fell through the cracks... but you would hope that ALL patient's get the same kind of care. I saw this guy in the early 2000's... maybe he's better in 2014?
