When I've had a couple of orthopedic injuries, my primary care physician, who's located in Honolulu, suggested that I try All Access Ortho in order to avoid having the 20+ mile trek to town for care. What a great idea! All Access Ortho is just a couple of blocks from my office, and 5 miles from home. Add to that their 7-days-a-week and late availability for walk-in appointments, and it's all a great setup. On both visits, I needed to have x-rays taken, and it's convenient and fast, right there. The doctor's and nurses I've seen have been kind, efficient and knowledgeable. I liked them enough that I even took my other half there when he needed ortho care. He got good care, as well. Parking is free and right out front, and in a separate, smaller lot from the other shops (Foodland, etc.) on the strip mall, which makes it pretty easy. If the lot gets full, there's lots more closer to the shops, and even street parking very close by. As for billing, I found the pricing no different from any of my other medical visits, using my great insurance. read more

I went in with two issues. They said policy was I could see someone for one issue. So I chose the most serious. Pain on left foot. I was completely misdiagnosed. The brace they put on further exacerbated a bone spur that they completely missed. Much of the equipment was out of service. I would never go back! read more

I had an appointment with Dr Gary Blum and when I showed up I was told he wasn't in network (UHC). I logged into the UHC website and it shows otherwise. Something is fishy. I'm going to call UHC and see where the smell comes from. Expect an update. Update: okay, while the doctor is in UHC, he is not a Medicare Advantage participant. Pretty much sucks. I've updated my review to give AAO 2 stars (they don't participate in MyChart), but Dr Blum gets zero stars. I had a shot and was told to wait 4 weeks to see Dr Blum. After 4 weeks wait I was told I'd have to pay around $500 for a consult. How I wish the US had universal healthcare. read more

This was my first time bringing my son here after he injured his ankle playing basketball the night before. The staff was friendly, and the environment was clean and modern. They took us in rather quickly and tended to my son's needs with care. I'm grateful that this facility opened in Kapolei, so I didn't have to drive all the way to town. I highly suggest filling out the paper work which you can attain from there web page. Anyway, after signing in and giving the 7 completed forms. The receptionist asked what I was there for. After explaining an X-ray technician to images of my left hand. From the X-ray room, I went into an examination room. Right after a PA (Shayle) came in and explained what was going on from the X-rays as well as checking my knuckle. My sagittal band was inflamed. The option she gave was if I wanted a cortisone shot. For the amount of pain I was in I agreed to a shot. PA Shayle came back in with the medication and a machine. The machine was a Bluetooth ultrasound. She explained that where she needed to place the shot was extremely small. As the image showed on the monitor the little void was visible in my knuckle. Then she told me the shot is coming. There was a slight pressure but I was in so much pain that I did not feel it. Almost immediate relief. That was 3/16/25 Sunday. Today 3/22/25 Saturday it is still a little tender but getting better. Went in for worsening knee pain. One patient ahead of us, took about 10 minutes to update medical records. Mom was quickly taken in for X-rays then hobbled into an exam room. Cara Zagel Pa was efficient and thoughtful in her exam. Steroid injection into the knee was painless. X-rays on disc to do, rx called into my neighborhood pharmacy and we were out the door within an hour of our arrival. read more

Went here for left knee pain. Was referrred by my PCP and I have HMSA-HMO. No appointments needed, walked in and was helped right away. The waiting area is nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Was able to be seen by a specialist, got x-ray done and diagnosed with arthritis. They gave me a cortisone shot and prescribed pain medication. So glad there is an urgent care for joints, with no appointments needed. read more

I'm so glad they have urgent care for orthopedics. It's very convenient for those who have feet problems or get unexpected injuries. My knee was swollen and usually, my regular doctor that I go to drain my knee doesn't have walk-ins and appointments are usually booked out. But this urgent care is a life-saver. Quick in and out treatment...the guy that drained my knee at the Kapolei location was a pro; I can tell he's good at what he does. Strongly recommend All Access Ortho if have feet problems especially those with gout that needs to drain fluids from joints...lol. read more

The first visit was great with the doctor doing a thorough exam of my motor functions, he prescribed medication to help alleviate my pain, and was able to refer me to a physical therapy center close to home. My second visit though I went in because of throbbing back pains and to fill out some forms. The doctor I saw this time didn't examine my back, but my foot and knees? Had an excellent experience here today. I injured my finger, and although I came straight from injuring it and I did not have my insurance card. Right away they were very helpful. The receptionist helped me with my forms as my finger was injured. He also pulled up my insurance and they brought me right in. The x-ray technician was competent and professional, and the physicians assistant, Kai, was knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful. Through the whole process everyone was friendly yet professional. I'm hopeful that I won't need to, but if I do, I'll definitely be back. read more

As a "woman of a certain age," I found myself with an unexplained injury to my foot which despite all over the counter interventions was only getting worse as the days passed. Not wanting to go to a traditional urgent care where I was sure to encounter sick patients, I remembered seeing signage of All Access Ortho when I was at the Hale Pawaa building for bloodwork, and went to Google to see if there may be one in my area. Low and behold, Kapolei has its very own All Access Ortho tucked away in the same shopping center as Foodland. I downloaded and completed the registration paperwork online to cut down any time spent waiting around the office and got super lucky and was seen within minutes. I was taken for x-rays and then met with a physician's assistant who completed an exam and went over treatment options with me. Without any noticeable broken bones in the x-ray I was diagnosed with tendinitis and given a boot to wear for two weeks with a follow up scheduled for the same time frame. At my follow up visit, I saw a different physician's assistant who graduated me into an old lady orthopedic shoe to wear for a few weeks. As the days pass, my foot is feeling better and I'm super impressed with the staff's bedside manner and how smoothly the office appears to operate. Best of all, they're open until 8pm meaning you don't need to leave work early and waste sick time etc. Most major insurance is accepted which is a plus, and they take walk-ins and appointments. Once I completely graduate from this old lady shoe I hope to never go back here, but its good to know they're an option should I find myself hurt again. read more

My husband had chronic knee pain and has been seeing Kaiser doctors since 2008. Always got the run around about seeing a sports medicine dr. The same day. Always had to wait for a future date. We cannot afford to wait, my husbands job is our livelihood. If he's out of work we don't pay our bills. Went to All access and they determined he has bone spurs and was able to treat him asap! As a Kapolei resident I am happy to say that the All Access Ortho of Mililani that we had visited many times just opened a new clinic in Kapolei. It is right next to Foodland. We were in and out in less than an hour last night and Michele at the front desk and PAC Tylan were both friendly and helpful. We are very thankful that this new location is now open and are glad we don't have to go to an emergency room for sports injuries that are not life threatening.
