When I walked in The younger man was counting the drawer he did not like his head or even acknowledge my presence but forfive minutes later and older gentleman came over and asked if I needed help I told him I needed a new battery. The battery that I asked for he told me that they were unable to do it because they would have to remove the grill and they did not have the right tools to install the battery. So I asked him if there were any other batteries that I could use if that didn't have to happen. He replied "no" there are none and he said it was against your policy to do that. I believe they did not want to do it because it was raining and I said they already had a drawer counted even though it was before closing time. If you are a woman I highly suggest do not go there they will blow you off and treat you disrespectfully as if you do not know what you were talking about or doing. If you want to go to a place that really cares about their customersGo to where I went when I left advanced auto parts go to O'Reillys down the road from this company. Everyone there is wonderful and will take the time to treat you like you are valuable and important to them. O'Reilly's gained a lifetime customer and I'm sure you will feel the same. This Advanced auto parts location is very reliable and professional! My family and I were driving…read morelong distance during the pandemic to visit family. When we saw the coolant warning light come on when we were still a couple hours away from our destinations and it was 8 PM we panicked. We called the dealer and found out that the best thing to do was to top up the coolant until the next day when we could take the car in to the shop. Since we were pulled over at a rest area we weren't sure where to find coolant. We called AAA and after a long time on hold we were told that they don't carry coolant with them and they would need to tow us to the closest service shop. By then we were really panicking! I pulled up yelp and found this advanced auto parts and they were closing in 15 minutes. Since we were only a five minute drive away we took the chance with our coolant leaking and got to the store. The manager was super nice and got us what we needed and came over to the car and did a quick assessment and helped us top up. He helped us realize that it wasn't actually leaking so we felt safe to continue our drive until we were able to go to the dealer the next day! We were really impressed by their professionalism and customer service that the store provided us. Highly recommend this advanced auto parts!

I give him all the right info. Except I said I have drums, when I have pads. Now that's my fault. But that's not why I'm giving 1 star. I'm giving one star because of how absolutely rude the person was that I was giving my information to. I didn't even get to telling him the part I needed before this dude started rolling his eyes. Now what I type may not seem rude. But it was all in how this guy was saying it. And I'm not a sensitive guy. I'm around rude people for a living. But the amount of crap this guy was giving me was ridiculous. I said the "It goes to the metal brake line that runs by the engine" his exact words were " I don't know what you're talking about, the line running to the engine doesn't make any sense and I'm showing exactly what you need here." I said "that's not it. It has a female end and a male end to screw into the caliper and metal brake line. His final words were as he rolled his eyes and sighed and huffed and puffed. Is "Idk what to tell you, this is what you need." Let's not to forget to mention I showed him a video of the part. Which he didn't even want to look at. So whatever I buy the part that clearly isn't it. And I go to advanced Auto in Irwin. I explain it the exact same way. She says "If that's the part you have brake pads." Here this is the part you need. She was knowledgeable and kind. She took back the part that the baffoon gave me. And I successfully put on my own line. Bled them too. Idk what this dudes problem was that he has to act all macho. But I can guarantee he will use that attitude again and I bet you the next person won't have self control and might lay the guy on the floor. So do you yourself a favor. Go the Advanced Auto in Irwin. The staff is more knowledgeable and professional.
