My family and I have been going to this office for many, many years. The dentist, hygienist and office staff are very caring, friendly and accommodating. My family and I see Mary (hygienist) and we absolutely love her! Tracy and Maureen work on the administrative side and are wonderful. They make you feel like family. I walk in with a smile and leave with a smile. The upgrades to the office are beautiful and calming while you wait for your appointment. Their hours and location is also a plus. Nice staff...very clean facility. Recent upgrades feature TVs with cable in all the rooms so you can relax with your favorite show on the boob tube. I have referred some friends here who have anxiety with dental procedures and they tell me that they are great. I think they offer the option to use "laughing gas" to relax the overwrought patients. I can't confirm as I've never used the stuff. Also...they do have a couple of hygienists that are great with kids. They do not try to upsell you on all sorts of services and products every time you're in there. I like that. I can't stand a sales pitch when I getting my pearly whites done. The staff seem pretty willing to accomodate if you tell them what you need. I have had no issues in the five years I've gone here... read more

This pandemic has made my germaphobia 10 times worse. I was hesitant about going for a dental cleaning but I was absolutely blown away at how incredibly careful, patient and sterile the entire staff at Westshore Dental is. I felt completely at ease during my visit The entire staff is so kind and caring. The best part is my teeth have not felt so smooth and clean in months. I was quite overdue. Very friendly environment-super clean! I came in as a new patient and was quickly and sweetly greeted by the receptionist. I waited 5 minutes and was brought into the treatment area with a quick tour provided by my hygienist. Once in the room, I was very pleased with the updated equipment; I was made to feel at home and welcomed. She walked me through everything and explained every step of the way. On my way out, I had to make a follow up appointment-the scheduling receptionist made sure I was aware of the cost at next visit so that I could plan accordingly. All in all, I would highly recommend this facility and am glad to have found my new dentist! read more

This is a perfectly fine dentist, until you need them to work with you. I have been going here since I moved to the area and got my husband to go here as well. The hygienists are nice (though they did lay-off my favorite one), the ladies at the desk are nice, the dentists seem nice, though it always takes less than 3 minutes for them to examine you. One is a little awkward, but I don't really go there for the conversation. It is an all around average dentist office. I have always had Delta. However my company recently switched to Anthem and West Shore is not a participating member. Totally my fault, I should have checked ahead of time. This resulted in a $120 bill (Anthem covered $100). I went in there and asked very nicely if there was anything they could do - adjust it a little. Nope, too bad. I have to pay the full $220... HOWEVER they're willing to accept $130 for my husband's visit (he has Delta). They can't reduce it at all? Seriously!? Who can afford to drop $120 every time they walk through the door? I would be willing to pay the $30 reimbursement difference just so I don't have to bother switching dentists, but $120?! They're not that good, trust me. Apparently they don't care about keeping patients. Someone who has been going here for 5 years, someone who has been loyal even through times of lay-offs, someone who has brought in extra business. Glad to know I was valued as nothing more than a dollar sign at West Shore Dental. read more

I WAS going here for more than 25 years, along with my son, totaling more than 50 years between us. I was laid off last year and had no dental insurance but still wanted to get my "every 6 month" cleaning done. When I asked if they could provide some type of discount for my family's loyalty, I got a few chuckles from the staff along with a "No". I was very clear with my response of "Then I have no loyalty to you, I will be finding another dentist ". I have changed dentists and will be encouraging my son to do the same. And oh....I am so not impressed with all the sports figure decorations in each room....even more so after this experience. It's obvious these dentists care about themselves more than the patients. They have their "glamor shots" up for all to see in the waiting room. read more

I have been going to West Shore since it was in that little house in the back. Dr Conte is a GREAT dentist. He takes his time explaining everything. I recently had an accident and broke one of my FRONT TEETH. I called in a panic and was not only seen that day, but had a cap done THAT DAY! They have a machine that actually makes the cap while you are there- you don't have to go back and get it inserted. And I must tell you, it was Dr Conte's day off so I saw Dr Johnson and I couldn't be happier. He did an AMAZING job. read more
