The good: Showed up on time, pleasant, professional and efficient installers. The bad: Did not have all the parts they needed. They will reorder parts and reschedule. I was told that I could sign the completion agreement and request for payment of $24,394 from Green Sky would not occur until the project was completed. My name is Larry Owen and I am 78, retired pastor with only Social Security. My wife and I are moving to Adamsville, AL, from Spokane, WA, into a small house that needs flooring. The West Shore Homes said they could do the job within the two weeks and it would only take one or two days. We were moving there in two weeks so my daughter signed the contract and gave them $6,800 down. She then found out that it would take up to 12 weeks. She quickly cancelled the contract but they refuse to return the $6,800 because the tiny print on the contract says you have to cancel within three days. That is food money for my wife and me, but graciously THEY RETURNED OUR DOWN PAYMENT. THANK YOU!!! read more

Jason, the gentleman who came to review and then returned several days later to repair my husband's shower, was very nice and competent. I was sad to see that when he returned to fix our issues with the wall - he was alone. It took him from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm. We were having issues with the wall the shower head is on. When my husband showered, the warmth from the shower was making that wall bubble out. Come to find out the original installers did not put enough glue on the walls. It cost us 200 dollars which we had to threaten to get it reduced from 425 dollars. We have to wait 24 hours as Jason stated to let the glue cure. Wish we'd gone with a true tile shower. read more

For health & mobility reasons, we had our tub removed & replaced with a walk-in shower & we are so glad we did. Yasmin was the sales person who came to our house & presented all the options & we signed on the dotted line.. A week later, Tyrone & Robert showed up at the appointed time & went to work. They only stopped for a 30 minute lunch break & were right back at it. They did superb work. So if Tyrone & Robert show up at your home, consider yourself lucky. They were very personable & respectful & hard workers. We are very pleased with the results. read more

They should allow "Zero" stars....scheduled an appointment online two weeks in advance. Received multiple emails and text messages reminding ME of the need to not only be home and available for THEM, but allow up to 90 MINUTES for them to hit me with what was certain to be a hard line sales pitch rather than simply provide a quote on a bathroom renovation. You guessed it....I took the day off, did a courtesy cleaning of the bathroom on their behalf, followed by their failing to show. When I contacted them an hour after the set time they said they had "no record" of my appointment. BS. They offered to connect me to someone who could reschedule. I literally started laughing and told them not to bother. Why the h*ll would we trust a entire bathroom renovation to a company that can't keep track of the first appointment? PS: Don't "hold it in" waiting for them to show up - you'll burst your bladder :O read more

West Shore Experience Having been in the construction management industry for 50 years I have contracted with and managed projects upwards to $200 million dollars. Never have I seen such a sub par performance from a 'Top Rated' contractor. The list of poor performance started when I provided written direction to the technician on the placement of the safety grab bars and shower seat. The placement was critical to allow my wife to safely use the shower as she is a stroke patient and has mobility issues. Upon my return from an appointment I found the technician has not followed the written direction and installed the safety elements where he felt they should go. When asked why he didn't follow the written directions he muttered that he had lost the paper. When pressed why he didn't contact me he had another excuse. They left the bathroom, stairwell, front hall and first floor area below the bathroom for us to clean. They also hid the holes left in the wall opposite the shower diverter with holes that I have had to repair. West Shore offered to replace the shower and install the grab bars per instructions at their cost which we have declined as they are not welcome back into our home. They also offered a discount to the installation cost with the stipulation that we sign a NDA waiver which we have refused. We will pay they full contract price as we have beneficial use of the product. We installed suction cup grab bars (see photo) to allow safe use for my wife. Anyone considering using West Shore Homes for a bathroom tub/shower replacement should consider another installation contractor. I only wish that I had read the reviews on this company before giving them any business. Not only did they install the wrong door, they attempted to gaslight me stating that the door frame was manufactured with the extension panels to allow for storm door installation. The initial installers were very unprofessional arriving late and reeking of weed. After two months of complaints and , I finally got the door I originally ordered with an installation slightly better than the original, and I do mean slightly better. Now the door lock does not engage making it difficult unlock the front door and at times I have to enter my home through the garage. Contacted customer service and scheduled repair for today between 08:00 and 10:00 AM. It is now 12:30 and other than the original confirmation text, I have received no calls and am unable to reach the Baltimore office directly or though the corporate line. My suggestion, RUN as far as you can from this company as its product installation is as horrible as its customer service. If there was a negative star review to give Westshore Home certainly deserves it! read more

West Shore Home Maryland has very bad service! There should be an option for zero star to rate them. I should have believed in all of these reviews. 1. The promise of - One day remodeling done right is a lie! You will end up missing your work/business just to wait for them to come and finish their work. This is just their promotional statement but it is different in the contract, so please do not be fooled. 2. Salesman will lure you with all the promises but totally different from contract. Ours was Mark Lyn. Pls read the contract. Learn from my mistake. He said that warranty is transferrable to new house owner so as to entice you to continue with the project with them. Totally a lie! 3. The warranty they are promising is not from West Shore, but from the manufacturer! So do not be lured by it as well. 4. Their customer service and whoever Kelsey is, I think do not know what they are doing. They just do the scheduling and know nothing about the work. They will promised for the repair of the damage they do to be finished on certain days but do not know what they are talking about. 5. They are so proud to say that have their own people doing the job, unlike, other companies, but yeah- "their so called people who were trained" are the ones who caused the damage to our house. Tried to rip us off and have us sign up for a high interest credit card at 26.98%. After I filled out the form... I noticed it said I opened an account. I said that was not my intention and I was just checking on a loan. He said, "Don't worry about that and just close everything out". Well, I did not and called that bank... that came up spam when I called them. Anyway it was a 16,500 dollar credit card was approved... I canceled right away. Hopefully, it won't kill my credit rating. This is after we said we would got to our bank for a home improvement loan. Don't use or Trust this company....they will try to steal your money and sell you overpriced trash. read more

I don't know what these negative reviews are for but I guess I am the first one writing a positive review. Jake and Jocelyn did a good job on my moms bathroom for a gift. When they accidentally broke the tile which I am sure it was an accident. Fabio came and replace the tile with no charge. Will definitely be using them again. Thank you west shore homes. read more

Originally priced out a tub to walk in shower. The salesman claimed all these high ratings from reviews. Priced out the remodel at $21,000 then offered a discount down to $18,000. Then offered a discount for cash but only if i signed the contract right then and there bringing it down to $12,000. Something was fishy so i excused myself to get on my computer to find out the their Yelp rating was only two stars out of 5. Saw many complaints. This was a high pressure sales technique and I wasn't having any part of it. He told me that IF I called back the next day it would revert back to $14,000. Here's the REAL kicker he asked if i was sure the sticking point wasn't price because if it was he could call the office...that let me know they would have gone even lower if asked. I don't do business like that...asked him to leave! read more
