Great food, service and even a live band playing Hawaiian and local music! The band is very good and they seem to enjoy what they do cause the music was excellent! We had the meat lovers and some poke nachos which were great and an excellent choice compared to other competitors. The Pulehu ribs were the best although they were out of some menu items when we went there on a busy Friday night. Give them a try. They're located at the old Plantation Cafe location in Kapolei.

    Maker's Mark neat!!!

Best Happy hour drinks and local food!!! Nice atmosphere above Farrington Hwy. Hopefully they would open their doors at 2:00 exactly.

If you haven't had string beans and spam at Westside Bar & Grill, what are you even doing with your life? This dish alone is worth the drive, the parking struggle, and even the existential crisis I had about eating more vegetables than usual. Crispy, garlicky, and perfectly sautéed--each bite was like a little Hawaiian hug from the culinary gods. I didn't know green beans could taste this good, and the spam? Chef's kiss. And then there's Steph, the bartender. Oh man, give this woman a raise, a trophy, or at least a lifetime supply of mai tais. She's part mixologist, part comedian, and part therapist--serving up top-tier drinks with a side of A+ banter. She could make a rock feel welcome at the bar. The drinks were cold, the vibes were warm, and by the end of the night, I was convinced Steph should run for mayor. Westside Bar & Grill is local, laid-back, and LEGENDARY. If you're looking for great food, killer service, and a place where even your green beans slap, get yourself over here. P.S. I now fully believe spam belongs in fine dining. Someone alert Michelin. #SpamGoals #WestsideEats #StephForMayor

Very over priced for what you get. Ordered the pork nachos and it came out in a small soup bowl for $22? It tasted like store bought nacho chips with cheese whiz, diced tomatoes and olives. The pork was dry like it was sitting out in open air. Service was okay, but not very personable. We ordered two appetizers and two drinks and our bill was over $70.

Hadn't been here in long time so we went last week only to find out that they had just re-opened. The food is as great as ever with a different kind of menu, all pupus and a la carte which we liked. Chassy & Jessie are awesome. Mahalo ladies!! Didn't get a Scoobie Snack but def try the new li hing lemon drops. Can't wait to go back for early football games, live music and Karaoke night. .

We got the family mini pack - it's great for 2-3 people who have a large appetite- 3 large pieces of Kalbi - bulgofi - man du - BBQ chicken- meat Jun - rice and choice of 4 veggies. It's a generous portion of meat more than enough for 3 people and we had leftovers too. The food is very good the Kalbi is a standout and the fried Man Du and meat Jun was excellent. So you can imagine the pure joy I experienced when I walked into Gina's and recognized the banchan, size and char on meats, the smell, being surrounded by local families and friendly faces behind the counter. My heart leapt for joy seeing that I could have both fish jun AND kalbi and if I wanted I could've gotten a third choice. My eyes spotted a familiar side dish of seasoned potatoes, which I left it for the next person and got the daikon, perfectly seasoned not dry at all jap chae, and kim chi cucumbers. When I took my first bit into the kalbi, life was made good again. It was reset and welcome home I needed. It was a perfectly cut and marinated kalbi. The fish Jin was seasoned so well I barely needed to dip it into a sauce. The portions could have fed 2. I asked if they were related to the Gina's in Market City. Bro, this is the OG Gina's!! The owner said they sold the other one and his mom helped him start this one. It looked like the whole family was behind the counter. I wanted to cry. Not all things have changed in Hawai'i! Some things got better! OG Gina's being in Kapolei is one of em.
