I told him I had put in all the information about what my car needed. He told me he can't see that information in his system. He made it sound like it was my fault for scheduling the appointment online. Drive an hour back home, all with the check engine light on. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP.

The quote was around $700 he said but even knowing we were sitting at a mile marker and how many miles to get to my house he couldn't give me an exact rate. I feel like that is deceptive practices because they could have added whatever when the tow was done and I would have had to pay. If a straight forward tow can't be quoted it makes wonder how honest they are with pricing.

I had no choice but to pull over and find the best mechanic I could. The first shop told me I needed new CV shafts and brakes -- a repair that would have cost me hundreds of dollars and a major delay, which was a huge setback for a broke college student. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion here. They put my car on the lift, quickly found that it was just a bent bracket, and fixed it right away -- for free. I couldn't believe it.
