I booked an appointment for my daughter. The staff was helpful, the assistant was supportive and the dentist ( Dr. Mitchell) was super friendly to my daughter, making her comfortable and giving me clear information about the treatment required. Unfortunately, the clinic doesn't provide the service, but, based on my experience there, I would hugely recommend this clinic.

Dr. Wedman went on parental leave before my appointment, and I was reassigned to Dr. Baird, who I had not met before. Once I was numbed, outfitted with a mouth dam and therefore unable to speak easily, Dr. Baird said cavities often come in pairs and asked to look at the tooth next to the cracked one. I agreed to a look. Without first confirming my consent to any work, he drilled into and filled that second tooth as well. He then found a chip on a third tooth and said he'd fix it "as charity," at no charge. Later in the appointment, after adjusting my bite, he asked if he could shave down part of an untouched, healthy top tooth so it wouldn't sit too high on the brand new filling. I said no, I'd prefer he didn't. He did it anyway. I left having had three teeth worked on instead of the one I came in for, my face covered in tooth dust that no one wiped down until I was handed a wet wipe afterward, and a healthy tooth altered without my consent after I explicitly declined. When I got the bill, the tooth I was told would be free showed a real charge. I'm still working with the office to sort that out, but the billing issue is secondary to the larger problem: a dentist who did not respect a direct "no" during treatment. Georgia Dental's own website quotes Dr. Baird saying "the best dentistry begins with listening." That is the exact opposite of my experience in the chair. Dr. Baird did not listen to me at all. I would not see Dr. Baird again and would think carefully before returning to this office.

I went to the hotel front desk and they suggested I see if your practice could help. We walked over to the office on a friday afternoon at 3:45 and explained my issue. The staff said no problem we can fit you in roughly 20 minutes. They x-rayed, took pictures and were able to prepare my tooth for our two week vacation! I wish I could give this team more that a five star rating! They were professional, kind, responsive without any hesitation. Rather than checking the same X-rays first, he did a new set of X-rays and this incurred an unnecessary charge. The receipt I then received had incomplete information so it was difficult to file a claim. Returned today for a new consult. I arrived 5 mis prior, waited 20 minutes at reception and then another 25 mins in a chair. If I had not said something about waiting for 45 minutes, I could still be waiting. No one alerted me that Dr. Birdy was running late and so I just sat there wasting my time. I get emergencies, but the decent thing is to acknowledge the delays. I do not have confidence in this practice. The people there may be talented but book on the assumption that your time will not be respected.

I have hesitated writing this for more than a year. The office staff are lovely and the hygienist…read morewonderful and goes the extra mile with suggestions for breathing techniques and self care. However...Dr. Birdi's work was far less than satisfactory for me. Years ago, he did a gum graft. The healing process was painful and I am left with what looks like a big lump of bubble gum. More recently, twice, he tried to do an implant. The implant did not work. In the process, he sewed my gum to my cheek, which resulted in excruciating pain. When the implant then failed, he removed it. He then did some bone grafting, but after several weeks, the wound would not heal. I sought a second opinion. The new perio removed bone pieces from the wound, and within days the wound then healed . The new perio has since done a gum graft that was far less painful, and the graft on that side looks like a natural gumline and not a blob of gum. The new perio also had to reconstruct my vestibule, which Dr. Birdi had annihilated when he sewed my cheek to my gum (something my dentist said he did not understand). Finally, the new perio recently did a new implant. There was virtually no pain and the healing went without incident. I am happy to read good reviews from other patients, but feel a duty to post the facts of my case, which were not at all successful and involved months of pain and additional courses of antibiotics and oral prednisone.

I am a total baby when it comes to going to the dentist. The team was very understanding and kind. Dr. Karkanis was very patient with all of my questions. He is super nice and thorough. I will be getting my first tooth extraction in a couple of days (for braces) and Dr. Karkanis clearly outlined what would happen and put my mind at ease. A shout out to Kaitlyn as well for being super nice and making me feel comfortable. I had put off going to the dentist for a long time and am so happy that I have found a great new dentist and dental team. Five stars.

But my hygienist at Atlantis - Kelly - was such a pro. She was professional and so sweet, explained everything, never sprayed water on my face, and gave me great tips to improve my teeth. The TVs on the ceiling are a great distraction too. Julia, the office manager at reception, is phenomenal. I was laughing at her emails before I met her. And my invoice was LESS THAN my estimate! He has a very light touch for both cavities and oral surgery. He will also take the time to explain and answer any of your dental questions. His enthusiasm is also unmatched. I never thought I would ever recommend a dentist TOO ANYONE. Dr Torre presents a very calm demeanour and also has a very light touch when filling cavities. He too is very attentive with all my oral hygiene and tooth related inquiries. These two are the only dental professionals I trust!!!! I have recommended them to all of my friends, and have heard back that they too will never book anywhere else. Life dental is unlike any other dental experience I have ever had; they are very professional and I find my healing time is quicker than ever. The proof is in the pudding. And this pudding is exceptional :)

Dr. Thomas Hui was the best dentist I've ever encountered who put me at ease while working on my…read moreloose tooth. I didn't even feel the extraction while he was doing it. The fact that the staff namely, Celina, Mendy, and Louise were all very friendly and easily put anybody at ease as soon as you entered the clinic is a bonus. I will recommend this clinic to anybody who has a phobia when it comes to needles and the like. Visit this clinic and find out for yourself why it's the best dental center you'll ever visit.
