I actually have not enjoyed an experience at a gas station so much before, lol. The bathrooms were extremely clean AND stocked with not only soap but a cherry almond hand wash/scrub. It's meant to remove grease and grime, but I had to try it and omg. It made my hands feel so soft and smooth and smelled so nice, I was so excited. I also figured I'd grab some coffee, and I was expecting the typical sparse gas station set up, but I didn't realize they had specialty coffee here! I tried the Cinnamon Roll Cold Brew and I'm still in awe at how delicious it was. I was already a happy camper, when I noticed the glass cabinet full of handmade glass trinkets. Of course I wanted a souvenir to remember this 10/10 gas station experience, so I ended up purchasing the cutest little glass gecko. They do also have showers and over the loud speaker, you could hear the announcement when the next one was available. It seemed like a very organized process. At the checkout, the man working was very friendly and I also picked up some very reasonably priced homemade dog treats. Definitely stop in here if you're around!

It's back behind the pizza hut and beside the VA on their own road. When we were going into the hotel, two women were sitting outside drinking a beer. We went up to our room on the 2nd fl. The room was teeny tiny small but super clean. The TV is way up at the ceiling but it works well for watching tv in bed. The bed was comfy and the pillows were comfy. There is no fridge but there is a microwave. There is a vending machine down in the breakfast area with microwavable food. So as we settled into bed the drinking crew changed... we laid down to sleep at 9:30 (We'd been driving all day). Watched a moving as the now two men and one woman were drinking their beer. They were loud , but it wasn't super late. When 11:30 came around they were louder yet and I was just exhausted. I opened my window as they looked up at me. I closed the window shortly after without saying a word. I think they realized they were being too loud. Soooo.. after that I was able to sleep. As other reviews had mentioned, the walls here are super duper thin. You do hear everything both inside and outside. But it was a cheap clean place to sleep.

While it isn't fully updated in decor, it is clean, and the beds are comfortable. My only issue is that upon arrival, we discovered that the table in our room was broken -- one of the legs was cracked and snapped, but you wouldn't notice it unless you tried to place something on it. We notified the staff, but I don't think they were able to do anything about it. Another problem: the faucet wasn't working properly. It only produced really hot water, no matter which direction it was turned, and it also leaked at the knob. I've see a lot of good reviews, so I'm sure this place has seen better maintenance in the past. I can't imagine the pandemic has been helpful for business. Bottom line: it's clean, you get what you pay for. I'm glad I stayed there, though.

I would not stay here again. Drive the 30 ish minutes to the Hampton Inn in Beckley, WV. Much better.
