The Publix and Mr. Petman Superstore are the two primary reasons that I am in this shopping plaza. This particular shopping plaza has definitely seen better days and needs a lot of better stores. Sunshine Park Mall is on Ridgewood Avenue, so it is extremely convenient and there is plenty of parking. With the lack of great shopping, I would definitely recommend shopping elsewhere if you want to do some window shopping, but if you are heading here for a particular business, you should have no issues. I was between giving Sunshine Park Mall two stars or three stars. I opted to give it three stars.

My only previous visit to this aging mostly vacant mall was for an indoor flea market (don't know if this is a reoccurring event or just a one time show) but that was a few years ago and this property seemed to be in decline at that time, but not nearly to this extent. After attempting to have breakfast we decided to walk around this mall to take our mind off the awful food we just walked away from, this place is more depressing and disappointing than the breakfast attempt. It was mid day and I saw two people in the entirety of this mall and they could have been owners of the empty stores. I don't see a need to return.....

At least that is what I came here for. They also have a hair salon, a collectible toy store, and several other businesses. I would not say this would be a place to come and do some shopping, however if you have to come to one of these businesses, there's nothing really wrong with this place. I guess that I will give it three stores, because while there is nothing wrong with it, there is also nothing extraordinary really good about it. If you are looking just to do some shopping and see what a place has, I would recommend somewhere else.

The store is huge and jam packed full of good furniture, home decor, collectables, jewelry, and more; so much so that a tall guy like me has a hard time getting around without bumping my head on something hanging from above. There is also a warehouse next door to the main building but it is closed until Thursdays, I guess to minimize the amount of staff working on slower days. Something to note that this store has a fantastic selection of stained glass sheets in a variety of sizes for sale. They also have a stained glass workshop in the back, very cool. Plus the owner makes stained glass wind chimes and other items that are here for sale. Although many of the items here are very nice and an excellent condition, we felt that everything is just too expensive. Even some of the items you consider 'Thrifty' seemed overpriced. Regardless, if you're looking for a unique piece of furniture, lamp, or dining room set they just might have it. I highly recommend checking them out if you have never been here before because they do have a lot of great stuff, but honestly I can't see myself going back here on the regular just because of the pricing.

It has been empty for a while, but now the Gap Inc empire has retaken the store under their Old Navy umbrella. The location is medium sized for the chain but has all of the regular things you'd expect to find. Given that it's newer, it is very clean and well organized. They have plenty of their seasonal merchandise out right now and staff was really helpful at the checkout. I'm generally a fan of this chain as they provide comfortable clothes at reasonable prices. Happy to see that something finally moved into this spot! Overall: A Happy for the new store in the mall and glad it's this chain!

I only had five items that it took five minutes to bring me up. Two nice ladies checking me out one that was sweet and one that was so sour.

They pulled about a half dozen candlestick holders for me when I inquired. The pricing feels overall fair and there are seriously some cool pieces.
