Clean and cozy The Robert Memorial Library is a baby as far as New England Libraries go. Founded in 1967 with additions and renovations in 1991, it certainly doesn't have the history of most libraries in the state. It definitely has a modern look and feel to it without the cool ambiance of the historic libraries. But it does function as a useful and friendly place find a book or do some work or research. The librarians here are great and willing to assist and help in any way they can and willing answer any stupid questions with a smile. The library is pleasantly decorated with lots of plants and numerous cozy places to sit. The children's section is well design and definitely user friendly. No, it certainly doesn't have the glorious feel of walls dripping with history and age. But it does serve as a cool, clean and cozy place to find a book or do some work.

I'd never set foot in this library until yesterday, and wasn't even sure where it was. It was only because I needed to make photocopies that I found my way here yesterday morning. I wasn't expecting much, but once I went there, it exceeded my expectations. It's an attractive, two-story brick building, with ample parking. The children's section is to the right of the front entrance, and the rest of the first floor has periodicals, fiction and an array of CDs, DVDs and even VHS tapes. Although I was only there to make a photocopy (their machine worked fine, and is right in the main lobby), I walked around the building to check it out. An employee behind the first floor desk asked if she could help me find something. You can take stairs or an elevator to the second floor, where you will find the reference desk; non-fiction books; an enclosed computer lab; and more computers near the reference desk, with a 15-minute time limit. It's fairly small as far as public libraries go, but appeared to be well staffed and organized, and I did see flyers for many programs available to the public. Aside from some stains on the first-floor carpeting, all in all, I was fairly impressed with my first visit.

Yes ma'am, everything is incredible and I love you lol. Speaking of the server, she was also the one who took my order, and she was so kind and patient. When you walk into this place, you can definitely tell you can order coffee, but more than anything else, you can tell you can order a coffee cocktail. Cocktails wall to wall lol. Now listen, that doesn't mean I'm not down for an AM cocktail, just not at that moment. She told me they could make anything I wanted, and they did exactly that. I ordered a medium hot latte with oat milk, whipped cream, and caramel drizzle. My colleague got the chai iced coffee. Parking is easy to find either right out front or in the back. I will say this location gets very busy, and it can feel like a small dance battle for close parking, so get in where you fit in.

Eating it though I was met with a sad bagel, unflavored meat and an egg that was probably microwaved moments before. The coffee too was nothing impressive, my iced coffee did not taste flavored at all and the latte I tried did not taste distinct at all. It's really in front of you that all the syrups are commercial with poor quality control.

Both the children's room librarian and the checkout desk librarian were friendly. It was very easy to sign up for a card and I enjoyed hearing more about the library. The children's room is adorable and was chock full of awesome books. I appreciated the back to school book suggestion lists that they had for every age from baby to fifth grade! I checked out quite a few from the list. Parking is easy out front and if you want to stay longer than 30 minutes there is more street parking just ahead of the library and the town parking lot a block away. I look forward to more library adventures.

Although there's only one private room, the main floor, with its comfy chairs and rows of bookshelves, is quiet and inviting. You can sit down, truly enjoy the quiet, and immerse yourself in your reading while basking in the natural light streaming through the windows. It has a soothing atmosphere that can be a real snoozer, and that's a compliment. This particular location also offers a good selection of foreign movies, which I really appreciate. The first floor below houses the computers and the children's section, complete with a friendly reference librarian. While the hours are somewhat limited compared to larger libraries, and parking can be a challenge, it's conveniently located right behind Main Street, East Greenwich. After your visit, you can head straight for a stroll. There's even a bike rack close to the entrance. The patrons are mostly older individuals who look like genuine book lovers, along with young parents and children who likely come for the activities and the dedicated children's area. Like many buildings and homes in East Greenwich, this library boasts a beautiful, historic architecture.

Super flaky and a lot of delicious flavor from the filling and garnishes. It was very busy when I stopped by midday. They were out of some items already (I missed out on trying the French onion croissant before they replaced it with another menu item). I did find a spot to sit outside but I can see it being even harder to find a seat during peak times. It's a bit off the beaten path yet it's known and popular for a reason. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying more items and of course the coffee!

I was sold as soon as I read their menu and saw that they had a Halva latte. This is one of my favorites and I can only get it at cafes near Boston. If you haven't had it, it's a must try. Halva is a sweet confection that is sesame based. Brown Bee definitely delivered on this one. I hope it stays on the menu! My wife had a pistachio latte that is made with homemade pistachio syrup. It was 10/10. We didn't plan on eating, but we did end up getting one of their cinnamon rolls with a homemade cream cheese frosting. It was fantastic! They have plenty of seating and although we waited inline, there were several seats available and we got to enjoy our drinks and cinnamon roll. This place is worth the wait in line. We will be going back again this weekend. I want to try the everything croissant with cream cheese baked inside! We may also try one of their breakfast sandwiches. My only recommendation is that they add little chalk boards for each of the croissants with what they are as they had to keep telling everyone what each one was. Still a 10/10.
