BEST espresso martini's in Rhode Island!!! Love the turtle espresso martini on the rocks. Can def get very busy on the weekends and seating can be limited, but they do have a cute area upstairs with seats and outdoor seating which is nice in the summer!

Cute cafe and you can sit both indoors and outdoors! Their biscotti is great- and they have a normal one and a chocolate one as well. I tried the iced pumpkin pie chai latte. It was a little sweet but still delicious. I definitely recommend swinging by during the day, or getting an espresso martini or a drink from there at night!

Espresso Martinis This is a short review because the only item I've ever had here is the espresso martini. MSC in a quaint European style cafe serving well crafted cocktails. The espresso martini is one of the best renditions I have ever had. This is a popular spot on the strip in East Greenwich and attracts a higher end crowd. They do have some nice looking pastries in the bakery side that you can have in the bar. The bartenders provide nice service and are definitely know how to spin up a quality cocktail. We'll be back. Thanks

To preface, I just wanna say that the espresso martinis are heavenly and even better on the rocks. Today around 4:30 I stopped in for a quick beer, not realizing the bar doesn't open until 5. I had an appointment next door at that time so I ALMOST passed, but Michael working the coffee bar kindly offered me one anyway. That kind of service is rare and so appreciated! I've always loved coming here, there's unforgettable drinks, warm staff, and such a cozy vibe. Thanks again!

Can't get enough of Main Street Coffee! they are definitely the hot spot to be in EG in the evenings. They have the best espresso martinis with so many varieties and variations- you can't go wrong with any one! With vodka or whiskey, decaf or caffeinated, in a martini glass or over ice in a mason jar. There is a slight up charge for the mason jar and ice, I don't usually opt for this. The bar tenders are efficient and friendly, even when the bar is packed. I finally made it to Mainstreet during the day and it was just as lovely as in the evening. I got a chai latte and a chocolate donut. The staff was so fun and very much approved my donut choice! Then I settled in to get some work done in the back room. Great spot to hang out or work!

Went in the evening after dinner at Blu on the Water, just a short walk away. Right away it looked very inviting, tables outside with art painted on the sidewalk. We went inside and found a table by the window. Walked up to the bar and were immediately greeted, even though it was pretty busy. Ordered caramel espresso martinis and was given the option of a martini glass or a mason jar. Chose the mason jar, because why not! LOL Bartender was very friendly, and very efficient mixing drinks while keeping up conversation with customers. My drink was really good! The atmosphere was really cool, there is an upstairs area with couches and tables, reminds me a bit of a speak easy.

Super cute coffee and bar next to town/city hall. Reminds me of the Italian "bars" in smaller towns that have secret places to sit, looks smaller than what it really is with a nice hidden section in the back area if you want peace and quiet. I did have to wait for service for a little bit because it looks like customer and the barista were catching up, but once they got to me super friendly and helped me choose my drink. I chose one of their seasonal drinks, honey lavender latte and oh boy was it better than I expected! The first time I had this flavored coffee was when I was meeting my brother in Kansas City, Missouri and I fell in love with it, but I haven't been able to find a similar tasting coffee until now. I will say this latte surpassed the taste and flavors from the one I had in Kansas City, so thank you to the kind lady that made this drink and complimented me on my outfit. I had a cheese danish which was so delicious and I bought a doughnut for my son and he loved it as well and he's picky when it comes to donuts so I was happy to hear that my son enjoyed it. I need to come back here since I'm trying to avoid chain coffee shops, and try more local places. The tiramisu was also very delicious and it was nonalcoholic so if you have kids and you want them to try tiramisu come and buy a slice here.

This is one of the best affogatoI have ever had. I love the espresso dusting on the gelato . The atmosphere in the place is so cozy and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I also absolutely loved the Last Word which is Gin based drink with some biter notes. I did not find it all very bitter it was a very well balanced drink. The coffee shop closes at 5pm but the bar will serve you any pastry left in its case. The bar part stay open late.

    Outside seating with character!

The staff rocks! Food smells amazing but gf/df is limited. My favorite cardamom latte was not in season, but the barista conjured up a great alternative! The shoppe is quaint, cozy, and there's always a friendly face!

Cute room in the back--nice and chilly with the air conditioning blasting on a hot, humid day.
    Arinne B.

Just passing through. Indeed, great coffee worth stopping for. Air conditioned with plenty of space inside and out. I opted to be a loner today-sitting alone upstairs & am loving the brick and Xmas lights.

    Classic Espresso Martini
    Kerri L.

This cute cafe which offers baked goods and coffee by day morphs into party central in the nighttime hours, especially when there's warmer weather. The espresso martinis are always on point, but the struggle to order drinks at the bar is real. It would be nice if there was a spot dedicated at the bar for walk up orders. I think it would make it easier for the servers and contribute to a more organized chaos. Otherwise, be prepared to elbow through the cozy quarters to get your drink.

She showed me to my table, brought a carafe of water, and welcomed me in. I was quickly welcomed by Sergio, my server, who shared the special and the soup of the day. Once I ordered my soda I took in the ambiance of the bar, new lights, and the rest of the restaurant. It's not a large building but they make every inch count. Now, the reason you're reading this review- THE FOOD. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a Caesar Salad. The chicken (photo below) was perfectly cooked, topped with hot honey, slaw, pickles, and ranch then placed on a soft brioche bun. The meal was reasonably priced as well at $33 which included tip. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but there was a steady crowd. People were either dining in or picking up to-go orders. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, so there are plenty of areas to dine. The bartender was friendly and helpful. I decided to go with the seared salmon, Brussels sprouts, and corn risotto. Thankfully, it wasn't much of a wait because I was hungry. My food came out fresh and hot. Everything was really delicious. My only complaint was there were a few flies swarming around me, which made my dining experience less enjoyable. I spent most of my time trying to swat them away. The bartender even moved me to another spot, but they still followed me. While I really enjoyed my food and the service, it might be a good idea for them to invest in small table fans to keep the flies away. Otherwise, my food was tasty, and the service was great!

Before going, I noticed several reviews mentioning that the food lacked flavor. After eating here, I'd have to agree. We started with the Strawberry Burrata appetizer. The burrata itself was good, but the strawberries tasted like they came from a can or pie filling instead of being fresh. It's the middle of summer, so that was disappointing. The focaccia served with it was fresh, but completely unseasoned and bland. A little olive oil, herbs, or flaky salt would have made a huge difference. For our entrees, we ordered the pasta special with chicken, peppers, and "broccolini" in a garlic sauce, along with the short rib grilled cheese and garlic Parmesan chips. First, the dish didn't contain broccolini--it was regular broccoli. That's not a huge deal, but the menu should be accurate. The penne was undercooked, the red peppers tasted like they came from a can, and the broccoli seemed straight from a frozen bag. The entire dish arrived tasting like it had been reheated in a microwave rather than cooked to order. There were only a couple of other tables in the restaurant, and they had only been open for about an hour, so that was surprising. On top of that, the dish was very bland. The short rib grilled cheese was actually the highlight of the meal. The short rib was tender and flavorful, and the sandwich had a lot of potential. However, the plain focaccia made it a little dry, and it really could have used some type of sauce or spread to bring everything together. The garlic Parmesan chips were stale, bland, and also seemed pre-made. To top it off, the menu clearly advertises that kids eat free all day on Mondays, yet we were charged $8 each for our kids' penne with red sauce. This restaurant has the potential to be really good. The ingredients and menu ideas are there, but the execution falls short. Fresher ingredients, cooking food to order, more seasoning, and a little more creativity would make a world of difference.
