When I tell you this coffee was everything, I mean it was EVERYTHING!!! It was so good that I literally said "mmmmmm" out loud, and the server asked, "Oh, is everything okay!?" lol. Yes ma'am, everything is incredible and I love you lol. Speaking of the server, she was also the one who took my order, and she was so kind and patient. When you walk into this place, you can definitely tell you can order coffee, but more than anything else, you can tell you can order a coffee cocktail. Cocktails wall to wall lol. Now listen, that doesn't mean I'm not down for an AM cocktail, just not at that moment. She told me they could make anything I wanted, and they did exactly that. I ordered a medium hot latte with oat milk, whipped cream, and caramel drizzle. My colleague got the chai iced coffee. Parking is easy to find either right out front or in the back. Years ago, Brewed used to be good. Now it's maintained a good aesthetic but misses the mark for coffee and food. Take this sandwich, it looks good. Eating it though I was met with a sad bagel, unflavored meat and an egg that was probably microwaved moments before. The coffee too was nothing impressive, my iced coffee did not taste flavored at all and the latte I tried did not taste distinct at all. The presentation was excellent as the server brought it over to the table. The coffee was bold and very good. My son ordered an acai bowl, which he was very happy with as well. The only thing I would change is the ordering process. The register area gets congested as people wait for their orders and others order at the same time. After ordering, it is easy to find a seat and the servers bring it over to your table if you take a number. Coffee is alright. I come here for the vibe of the cafe if anything. Every time I get food I am disappointed though, it's actually so bland. Also Why were lemons put on my avo toast? Why put something you cannot eat comfortably? Take the peel off if you want sell lemon on avo toast. Also red pep flakes on top of that makes no sense, it is all aesthetic. Plus if I wanted the lemon juice I can't even juice the slices. THIN layer of avocado spread and sooo much arugula. Bread was barely toasted. For ~$10 this is pathetic. I actually hate it here. We were actually approached by the owner, he welcomed us and asked if it was our first visit (was it that obvious!? ) Anyhow, we ordered and were so pleased with our food and drinks. Meh. The food and coffee here are dependably good, though, in my opinion, overpriced. My main issue is that the vibes in this place are all types of wrong. The staff have never been particularly kind (think typical Dunkin level kindness). They have numerous signs around saying that customers aren't allowed to bring in water bottles, which I find ridiculous in this day and age. I have ordered MANY times from here because I love the bowls! One of my fav things to have! The last 4-5 months that I have been ordering (especially through delivery) I NEVER get what I pay for! I order multiple extras because I love my bowl loaded! Mind you, it already comes with strawberries, blueberries, granola and bananas. I always add 1 more banana, 3 coconut & 2-3 granola (all extras). Every single time I've had to put in for my money back (for the extras I ordered) because I didn't get them nor did I even get what was supposed to be on it! One time they even put stuff on it that I didn't want. I've continued to order because it is my favorite! The bowl is $15 and when I'm done with it it's $22-$23 and with delivery I pay up to $41 when I order from work. You would think that they value their loyal customers. Today I had my hubby pick up my order and he said there was barely anything on it! He said the manager stated it was correct as they weigh everything out! Are you kidding me??? So did you miss the extras I added in??? Did you not see that? The bowl wasnt even a normal berry açaí Bowl order, never mind all the extras I ordered! So yeah even if you "weigh it out" you need to add all the stuff I payed for on top of the regular items that come on it! It's not rocket science! I will NEVER go back to this place after today. The manager stating it was right??? Shows you that they knowingly rip people off!!! Even with them "correcting it, it's still wrong!!! I Barely got banana & I ordered and extra one! At best I got all the granola. Barely any strawberries or blueberries and definitely didnt get coconut x3 that I paid for. It's unfortunate because I truly love these bowls & I've spent a fortune on them over the last 3 years at least that I've been ordering from there! This was my final straw with them (Warwick location). Last week I had it one day for lunch at work and again I had to dispute the extras because the bowl I received was a JOKE! I even send grub hub pics and videos of me opening it so they can't say that I am lying or took anything off. I will no longer give this place my business and hard earned money, especially after how that manager spoke to my husband. The positives about this Brewed Awakenings is that it is a comfortable environment and the staff is nice. The coffee is good and I like their tea Refreshers because they are not very sweet. Their sandwiches need improvement. For the price of their sandwiches, they should definitely have more filling. One sandwich I will never order again is the fig and prosciutto sandwich. It was horrible. The one thin slice of prosciutto was dry and tough. The fig jam that they used was very very sweet and overwhelmed the prosciutto. For $13.80, it was a huge disappointment. Owner is a scumbag. When I worked next to a location, we gave his employees free pizza slices that were going to be thrown out at the end of the night. We were welcome to take it home but we thought we would help other young employees. Owner contacted owner of restaurant I worked at to try to get us fired for "giving away free food." Unfortunately for him, we were in the right and it made us only give his employees more free food (as they had to pay for food from brewed) Otherwise the place had sub par coffee and terrible food. I got a pistachio muffin, and an iced coffee (caramel nut biscotti, milk & sugar). The muffin was delicious, but did stick a lot to the paper liner it was baked in, so when I pulled it down it took the sides of the muffin off, so I could only eat the middle part of the muffin bottom. But the taste was delicious and it did have pistachio nuts throughout. The coffee was good as well. Plenty of space to sit and the service was quick. The service was really friendly and the store was clean. The kiosk ordering system was easy enough to navigate but felt kind of unnecessary. The coffee was not particularly tasty. The iced coffee was pretty watered down (like they had poured hot coffee over ice instead of cooling it). I visited Brewed Awakenings twice when I was in Warwick for a few days. I had good experiences both times. Despite the name, this place has more than just coffee and pastries. They also have a bar and The shop is huge - lots of seating room both inside and outside in front of the entrance. Plenty of table space so this looks like a good place to work or study. As other reviewers have mentioned, the car lot is a bit difficult to navigate due to its location on the road and being next to a car dealership. I ordered iced oat milk lattes both times, once with hazelnut syrup and once without syrup. The drinks were okay, not the best but not the worst. They don't list their syrups but they have the basics (vanilla, caramel, etc.). The latte without the syrup was a little butter but not undrinkable. They also have a rotating selection of iced coffee flavors. For food I tried the banana nut muffin and cinnamon stick for pastries. Both were soft and tasty. I also tried the Boss breakfast sandwich (toasted butter croissant with eggs, bacon, ham, tomato, and white cheddar cheese). The ingredients were fresh and the sandwich was filling. No complaints about service or anything other than prices being a little steep for what you get, but that seems to be the case with many eateries these days.
