I was told clearly that ear stitches were something they could handle. At check‑in, we again explained exactly why we were there -- two separate opportunities where we could have been told the truth before being billed for a visit that provided no treatment. After checking in and being seen by the provider, we were informed that they cannot perform stitches on anything above the neck and were immediately redirected to the ER. The provider even asked if we had been billed for the visit while we were still there, which made it seem as though the charge would be handled since no care was provided. A month later, I received a bill for this visit -- despite receiving no treatment and being sent to the ER, which is where we should have been directed from the start. When I called to question the charge, I was told it could not be adjusted because it would be considered "insurance fraud." In reality, the misinformation given to us -- twice -- is what caused an unnecessary visit and an unnecessary charge. If anything, bringing patients in under false pretenses just to bill insurance is what raises concerns about "insurance fraud." I've contacted their main office and an investigation is underway, but this situation is unacceptable. Had I not called ahead and been told incorrect information, we would have gone straight to the ER and avoided this entirely. Patients should not be financially penalized for staff giving inaccurate medical guidance.

I'm a bit concerned that as part of MKMG he will get lost in the noise, but he's worth the effort to schedule an appointment with. Being in the Brewster office vs Mt. Kisco means a hike for most Westchester residents, but it's also a much less busy office. He used to have occasional Saturday hours in Mt. Kisco, and perhaps still does. I called to tell him that I had moved to CA and to ask a question, and he said "hey, listen, if you need anything, give me a call. Until you tell me otherwise, I'm still your doctor." That was a lie, the pool was not open. The gym is comprised of one treadmill, one elliptical, one stationary bike and some free weights. They mismanaged my medications one of which was an antibiotic for recently diagnosed Lyme Disease. The groups are noisy and often combative. There is no smoking so smokers often try to sneak cigarettes which causes even more conflict. I was in a room with 2 other people while others had only one person in a room. The food is inedible so if you decide to go? I hope you like peanut butter and jelly. When I checked out they sent me home with another patients medication. I couldn't get anyone to return my calls so I have no idea if another patient went home with mine. If you have a substance abuse problem Arms Acres will only exacerbate it. Look into anywhere else or even an outpatient facility.

So obviously she did not bother to check with the front desk to see if I had arrived. I consider this two failures. What makes this worse to is that there are only six chairs in the waiting room due to Covid and the person who initially did not log me in could see me the whole time and never bothered to do anything. During the hour I waited only two or three other people came in so it was not busy. I believe the person at the front desk was inept and/or incompetent and should not be be in a customer facing position. This office needs a new and better staff.

I tried again several times when I was in the hospital, and again he refused to return my calls, After discharge, I wrote him a letter and he ignored that as well. It appears that he only shows compassion when it benefits him financially. I was very disappointed that he would ignore me at a time when I really needed to speak with him. I will never understand this because we had a good relationship with you. I would never recommend him to anyone else again.

During covid they've been very safe, keeping everyone social distanced and as less people as possible. Visits are easy, you make the call from your car while you're in the parking lot and wait to be called without having to be with a big crowd. Temperature checks and everyone is covered up and suited up. Love this Brewster location. Conveniently located.
