Security/welcoming committee at the door which sets one's mind at ease. Sanitize and mask up if you want. Masks right now are not mandatory, but most of the staff are wearing it. I'm grateful for that. The facility is clean, and each bed is sanitized between patients as I observed for two hours before my procedure. Staff at check-in are very pleasant and professional. They are following Covid protocol and there is glass between you and the intake when you arrive. Very smooth check-in process. THE AMBULATORY SURGERY: very clean Erika, Naomi, Josephine,Karen, and the OR nurses were really well suited for patient care. Efficient and pleasant, and they take the lead if you want to lighten up with a joke or two. A couple of people recognize me from my previous procedures and we're very encouraging knowing I was in a bit of discomfort. Got walked out to my car to make sure I was getting out safely. I'll be darned if she told me her name and it is slipping my mind, but she was very lovely. I'll be losing Dr.Rangavajjula the New Jersey St. Luke's system. If you are in need of a pain specialist, and you live in New Jersey or Pennsylvania, I encourage you to look him up. You will not find a finer medical professional. One more procedure to go, I hope, but this Care is appreciated.

I ended up waiting over an hour and a half for results that never came because they were " waiting on the specialist" to read the results meanwhile they never bothered to tell me until I asked why it was taking so long I ended up telling the nurse that I wanted my discharge papers I only went here because it was the closest hospital to where I was when I was having symptoms I should have just drove the extra 20 minutes to the better hospital

Out of respect for the help given in the past I felt like I had no choice but to leave a 5 star review as I had to be the bigger person and not let this experience be the leading factor behind my review as I could have written this a month ago with nothing but love, compassion and gratitude. The NYPD does not come to the scene unless a death occurred or a 3rd party calls them. I was too disorientated to do so myself, and my phone was not near me and in a an unknown location. I couldn't think clearly (later confirmed to have a concussion) and did not know what happened. I was not the deciding factor in the situation. Clearly they didn't need to be called or I would not have a law firm working on contingency. During the visit, I requested a methylprednisolone dose pack and guidance. I was not requesting additional pain medication and, in fact, was asking about tapering off my current medication. I was surprised by the tone of the interaction and felt I was being spoken to as though I had acted improperly, despite the circumstances and my medical condition at the time. I have been compliant with treatment, have not had any issues with medication use, and had not been seen in by you for over a year. I was seeking medical guidance and support, not confrontation. Being spoken to in a raised or aggressive manner while recovering from a concussion and with known mental health conditions was upsetting and unnecessary. This is simply disclosure, not a complaint. I am also concerned about the abrupt discontinuation of my medication, given the well-documented severity of withdrawal associated with it. That said, I understand that treatment decisions are ultimately not negotiable, and I will handle the situation as I always have and do. I wish you well and hope this message is received in the spirit in which it is intended.

At first I was pretty against additional urgent caress in the area. But this one being where it is,…read morehas been super convenient. Dr. White was absolutely amazing. They're friendly, insightful, and so beyond helpful. The receptionist/nurse was so kind and welcoming. This is probably the cleanest and least drabby/depressing medical facility I've ever walked into. I love the accessibility as well! The doors are large and slide to allow ease for wheelchairs and other mobility devices. This will probably be my new go-to urgent care when I can't get in with my dr. I also saw Dr. Beckwith. She's very kind and sympathetic, but not the most helpful. She told me a medication that is for the issue I'm having isn't for that issue which was untrue and was previously prescribed for the same issue.

Upon attempting to make a walk-in appointment at the spot I was recommended to be booked up I figured let me give this "new" place a chance and be seen at Nuvance Heath-Go instead. My throat hurts, I can barely swallow and I just want to feel better.  I walked in and I informed the guy at the front desk that I had pre-booked a walk-in appointment. I thought to myself --oh good, no one else is in the waiting area (probably not a good thing looking back now). This should be quick. And it was. I was greeted by a very nice nurse named Amanda. Who showed me to the room and slid the door closed. After I explained my symptoms she informed me that was going to "swab" me for strep. And of course I was fine with that. She did her thing and left the room. 5 minutes go by and in walks Dr Alma Beckwith to let me know that my test was negative but the Rapid strep tests aren't always accurate. Dr Alma Beckwith then examined me and said that she can see some indications of strep in my throat and she was going to go ahead and give me some basic amoxicillin. Great. Doctor walked out, I gathered my stuff and went to the desk I went to. This is where things take a turn for the worst. I made the mistake of asking if she was writing me a script, calling or "e-scripting" it". Well, the doctor snapped back and said --"I will as soon as I can". I then asked if any of the 5 people behind the desk knew what time the pharmacy closed. The doctor again chiming in saying simply --"no clue" (with a snarky attitude). Amanda went out of her way to find what time the pharmacy closed by looking at a list they had pinned to the nurses cubicle. And out the door I went. I get to the pharmacy about 15 minutes later. I shop for cough drops and vitamins and get to the pharmacy counter. The girl looks it up and says --"yeah. I don't see anything". So at that point, approximately 25 minutes has gone by since leaving the walk in. So I call, explain they haven't received a script and the receptionist then puts me on hold. Receptionist gets back on the line and says, ok we just sent it again. I said --"ok. Thanks". And hung up. I gave it about 5 minutes and went back up to the pharmacy register and the girl again looked it up. And nothing. So again, I call the walk in. Same receptionist answers. And I explained that the pharmacy still didn't get anything. Now, I confirm the walk in is sending it to the right pharmacy and indeed they are. All of a sudden I hear the doctor start YELLING in the background because NOW the receptionist has me on SPEAKER! Doctor says --"I don't know, I sent it in 3 times now. I don't know what to tell you. I've had problems with this pharmacy all day". I then said to the doctor that --"problems with the system isn't my fault" and I offered other options so the doctor can resolve my issue. I suggested other means that were given to me by the pharmacist team. Even offering for me to drive back to the walk in and get a paper prescription. The doctor was being angry, rude and extremely unstable. She left off with "I can't deal with this, someone has to deal with this". Mind you I'm still on speaker. Amanda the nurse took over the call and I apologized for being such an inconvenience and assured her that I wasn't standing in a pharmacy with a sore throat dealing with this because I wanted to. Amanda told me she'd take care of it, and two minutes later the script was received at the pharmacy.  This community is small. I was treated unvalued, disrespectful, and flat out rude in a staple that most communities would be happy to have. The behavior this doctor displayed was not only offensive but I would also question her mental stability due to her actions. Everyone should think twice before patronizing this place. I would have rather sat in an emergency room for two hours and been respected and appreciated by residents of our local community than deal with the wrath of Dr Alma Beckwith. My review is based on my personal experience and a professional experience of being a standardized patient at a top Medical College in New York. This doctor would have failed this assessment immediately and had consequences for displaying this type of behavior.
