They would answer my roommate's call light but ignore mine. On numerous occasions, I had to unplug myself from everything and take myself to the bathroom because no one would come. It was an absolutely miserable experience, especially when I was already trying to recover from such a major surgery.

The people at the front desk, the registration people, the nurses, doctors, technicians, etc, have all been great! It's also very clean - it's a nice building. The only problem I've ever had here was at the lab. I had an appointment and walked into a fairly full waiting room. Not all of those people had appointments, but they were still being called before me. There's no one to talk to about it. There's no front desk and they keep the door locked so you can't find a person to talk to. I waited until they opened the door to call someone else in and ran up and inquired as to when I might have my turn and they acted like I was rude. It was already 30 minutes past my appointment. I have found that a number of Mercy labs aren't great. But that's what my insurance covers, so I'll keep going! But I do love everything else about this facility! I request it for most things I have to have done, and will continue to do so!

Everyone here was incredibly caring, and they explained each step of the process clearly. The nurses knew how to keep a good patter going to help distract, but it never felt forced. They put warmed towels on me so I wasn't left cold as they prepped. The anesthesiologist nurse and doctor took the time to introduce themselves and explain what they would do. I thought I would be an anxious wreck in the lead up to the procedure, but they worked their magic and before I knew it, I was waking up and able to leave. The facility itself was clean and tidy. Although I hope I won't be back, I wanted to give them a shout out for making a tough situation for me all the more smoother.
