I just had a bad experience with the persons at the BINGO WINDOW to buy packets. *********** My niece wanted to come back to Bingo, so we did last night (Friday night). Arrived at the FD around 7:06PM. There was no "temp check" when we walked in , so we followed the "social distancing" markings to arrive at the window to pick up bingo cards. This time there was a man and woman there. When we asked for 2 cards we were told they were $18 and a pack of the special was like $4. I asked, did the price go up because we came a few weeks ago and only paid $11 for a small card. The lady said its always been that price. So i said, does the price make a difference on certain nights? (We came on a Saturday the first time). She said no. Then I said, well I can't play a card that seemed like 40 cards (We're still pretty new to this). She then said they have a smaller card that was like $15. I told her again we only paid $11 before and the card was much smaller to our liking. About 2 minutes or so of going back and forth we just decided to leave. Whoever she and he were, lacked customer service and honestly we think they were trying to get us to pay more than what it was. Either they were trying to get over or the woman who was working the window gave us the card at a cheaper rate. Plus, the first time we came you can get a free bingo dabber- which none of that was set up last night. Not sure if it was a different org. having bingo on different nights or what, but everything was off. Even the vibe in the bingo hall. We're so disappointed because we really enjoyed your first time there and will likely not return based on the interaction with the window persons. I had made an appointment for a passport application and harry was very helpful in getting me…read morethrough the process, he was patient and kind. this was my first time applying so i was very nervous. he took my picture too, which pleasantly surprised me since i was told by multiple people i'd have to go to CVS to get my picture, so that was nice to get it out of the way. once i got home i had realized i "forgotten" my births certificate, in my panic i drove back to the office and told them i had left it. harry explained that was purposeful and i'd get it back with my passport, what a relief! he apologized that i had to return, but it's no biggie since i had classes at UMBC later. thank you again harry!

Once you fill out the required (by federal gov) info on the computer you are done and out the door with your med card in under 30 minutes. They treat you with Respect. This is a better MARC station than many. The parking lot is very big and the platform is long and…read morewith several overhangs to avoid the rain. It also has a ramp to the platform from the parking lot and an elevator, if you can't do stairs. The north-bound platform is on the side with the parking lot. For the southbound platform, you have to either take stairs or the elevator to a pedestrian bridge across the tracks to the opposite side. Beware that the elevator is slow and not very big, so there will likely be a wait to use it.

The Falls Road Animal Hospital (who deserve a shout out for their advice) told me to call the City's animal control program in case the bat had rabies. By now it's 11pm and I dial the number for animal control expecting a message to call back Monday morning. But no, the phone is answered after only one ring. By 1am a really nice man from the city is picking up the chiroptera (that's fancy for "bat") for rabies testing. By the way, Florence is okay on account of her up-to-date vaccination. I've had so many negative experiences with government from the DMV to traffic court, etc. but this service was truly incredible and the folks down there deserve some recognition.

Dogs were taken from my daughters boyfriends home by animal control. They were sent to barcs. Barcs…read moreinformed daughter that one dog was under animal control care, not adoptable and will be killed...even though they were given papers from animal control that they can pick up the dog after 72 hours. The dog is a wonderful dog. Well mannered and lovable. The dog did nothing wrong and now has to die because someone wasnt apparently keeping their house clean. My daughter even found another home for the dog. We are devastated and heartbroken and pray that animal control will have a heart and release the dog to the care of barcs so the dog will have a better chance at life. The dog is really sweet.
