When we got ready to leave on our trip, we had one of those moments where you literally think you are going to puke. We went to flip a mattress and the board was warped. No big deal I thought. I'll just flip it over. Except for it turns out there was water under it and the bed supports had failed. Our trip was planned. I made a minor adjustment to the bed and gave them a call. My salesman called me while I was driving and told me to bring the unit in when we got back. We picked the unit up today, all the damage had been repaired, all leaks were sealed and spots that were not leaking were sealed again. Bottom line is the paperwork said used and as is but they had said if there was an issue they would take care of it and they sure as heck did. No questions asked

What I got: cabinet doors that fell off within weeks, removal (and no replacement) of the water tank, and a missing pin so the door wouldn't stay closed. They threw away the water tank so I couldn't get a fiberglass tank as we had no mold. Most frustrating to me was the lack of apology. If I threw away something my customer needed, I would apologize. It takes five seconds and shows regret. Instead, I encountered a deal-with-it attitude. I think they just wanted me to buy a new trailer rather than repair my vintage, so they did the minimum. When I do buy a new trailer, it will not be from Timberleaf. They promised me everything I wanted to hear then left me with a trailer that was less usable than when I took it in. After I got my teardrop home, the second place I called made me a new metal water tank for $40--Timberline quoted me somewhere in the vicinity of $800. All the repairs I've done since have gone far better than the repairs done by Timberleaf. Nice guys though.

They said they weren't going to contact the seller unless we put money down. The salesman never said this was a requirement when we were there, he just gave us the option and simply said that not doing so would just keep it on the market for the other potential buyers in the meantime. So, we were waiting on a call that was promised that they had no intention of making. It was just a massive waste of time. This would have been our 4th RV purchase, all from different places...this was the worst experience we have had with service at a dealership. If you're buying your first RV, you can do much better.

Due to the oddity of the transmission (and current supply chain issues caused by an inept controlling government....well, never mind, different review) Dave could not locate all the parts to rebuild my transmission. However, he did use his resources to search and locate a different, yet compatible one in Chicago! Upon my approval, he had them complete it's rebuild and shipped. That was on a Tuesday. By Thursday afternoon it was in Grand Junction and delivered to the original shop for install. By Friday afternoon we were on the road again! Thank you Dave.
