The previous company left me with a front hard full of boulders that literally gave me anxiety every time I opened the door. Along came Rick. He said he could move a few rocks and put in some plants and make it look like we had intended. The job quickly got underway as he rearranged the "rock field". Next we worked together to decide what kind of plants I was looking for and how much maintenance I wanted, and the overall look I desired. He would leave and within hours be back with a truck load of plants and get to work planting them. Rick and his crew worked tirelessly until the project was done, and then circled back to make sure I knew how to water, fertilize, and care for everything. It's been eight months and everything looks amazing. Rick doesn't upsell you, he tells you honestly from the beginning if what you're envisioning might not work or he offers a variety of options from lower to higher cost. He keeps you informed of any changes along the way. He also really knows plants. He's worked in the industry for a long time so he's very knowledgeable re: what plant will work in which area, how soil and drainage will affect the plant, and creating a balanced design. We just kept saying "wow" every time we looked outside. Rick was so fantastic we immediately asked him for help with our backyard later in the summer. Again, he and his company were on-time, polite, and courteous, which were important as we have children and pets running around. The transformation of our backyard from a patch of scraggly grass to what it is now was tremendous. I even asked for a water feature midway through and Rick didn't miss a beat having us select one within our budget and selecting the best location for it. The new lawn, the planting beds, the staircase, patio and fountain are incredible, and now we step outside and feel we can relax in our backyard.
