if you want a place to just hold your money Westerra is fine. But credit unions are for getting…read moreloans and Westerra is terrible at auto loans. They drug their feet and caused all kinds of issues when I got the loan. For some reason they couldn't fund the loan so we couldn't get the car but the loan was showing up on my online banking and a payment schedule was established before I could get the car. I wanted to make a big payment to start the loan and lower the monthly. One person tells me to make the payment before my first statement so I do, I call to get the reduced payment info and another person says I should have waited to make the chunk payment until after my first statement. They don't know what they're doing and as a result I have a higher payment. Then, years later we pay the loan off with one last big chunk payment and they processed the payment wrong. It's paid off and it's not accruing interest but a month after the loan is paid off I have to call to get the title and it's only then that they figure out it was "processed wrong" on their end. They have to go through it again and submit it to the county. There is a negative balance on the account so they will apply that to my saving once its all processed properly. so I lose out on a months worth of interest (not much but still) and I have to call and tell them to do their job. Don't bother getting an auto loan from them. And one can assume that they handle all loans this well.

Andy Inhelder was the loan officer and Mandy Straw was the processor. Be very careful when you work with Andy Inhelder and Mandy Straw, double check literally every document they send you to sign. Confirm every word Andy Inhelder and Mandy Straw are telling you. Push and follow every deadline. We almost bought a $500K single family residence sold by Aslan Home Lending Corporation which is in fact a $200K detached prefab condo without land within PUD. We were lucky to exit the deal 2 days before the closing after extensive talks with the County, attorneys, lender, title, appraisal and seller. Because of the hard arguing with the seller and lender - they agreed to terminate the deal and return our earnest money. And Tom was Andy Inhelder and Mandy Straw with such a situation, no issues or sorry from their end. Just like a normal routine from them. Also Mandy Straw has ordered and we as buyers have paid $850 for the fake appraisal report which was made for non-existing property. Don't believe that such magic can happen?
