Couldn't be happier with my experience at Westgate.
    Jeremiah W.

Are you the type of person who wants to feel like you're doing business with a family and not a corporation? Well if you are, Westgate Imports delivers in a big way. I won't spend much time talking about their much-lower-than-everyone-else pricing since that is well evidenced, but I will say that 3 people really made this special for me. 1) My experience with Mary was exceptional. When I think Westgate Imports now, I think Mary Saylor. She was an absolute gem. Without her, I wouldn't have a new Audi in my driveway now. At no point was the focus on me buying a car. She was excellent at facilitating anything that made life easier and simpler without an ounce of expectation or imposition; and all the while she was a great listener and fun to talk to. It's rare that I have a customer service experience that is so purely driven by caring. I wish every purchase could be this way. I highly recommend you ask for her. 2) When it came time to sort out the logistics, Justin was very naturally straightforward, forthright, and expedient. His follow through was tremendous. My favorite part was finding out that he had high-prioritized my car to get it finished for delivery in time for the weekend instead of Monday afternoon. That really made my weekend. 3) Kevin in finance was a wizard. He took the time to explain some of the advantageous nuances within finance that pertained to my situation. The end result was him getting me a rate that was lower than my credit union's bottom line. I couldn't be more pleased. It was a pleasure dealing with an auto sales team that was truly organized and that values doing business the old-fashioned way where character and a handshake are worth far more than a sale. I highly recommend you check out Westgate Imports when you're ready to buy a car. They'll make it well worth your while.

The sales experience may be fine, but the service department has completely ruined the ownership experience for me. I have now wasted two separate mornings trying to get them to complete a Toyota TSB repair for squeaky brakes on my new $70k 4Runner. Before both appointments, I specifically called and confirmed that they had the parts needed to complete the repair. Both times, I was told yes. At the first appointment, they took the brakes apart and then realized they only had 3 of the 4 replacement parts needed. I was told they would call me when the remaining part came in. Months went by and I never received a call. Trying to get through by phone was also a mess, because the phone system seems designed mainly to schedule appointments, not resolve existing service issues. After I opened a brand engagement case with Toyota, I promptly received a call from Aurora. To her credit, she dug into the issue, identified the problem, confirmed a new appointment, and told me the parts were in stock and committed to my vehicle. I showed up for the second appointment today and again asked the service advisor to confirm that they had the parts. At first, he said they did not. After more digging, they "found" them. Then, after I had already waited about 90 minutes, Kevin came to the waiting room and told me they did not actually have the correct parts. At that point, I spoke with the service manager. The offered solution was to top off my gas tank. That does not come close to making up for two wasted mornings, taking time off work, arranging my schedule around these appointments, and still not having the issue fixed. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. I bought a very expensive new vehicle and have had to chase the dealership for months just to get a known Toyota service issue addressed. Based on my experience, I would not trust Fred Anderson Toyota's service department.

Our salesperson Mike Mayberry spent an hour making trips to the back room to consult with management, ultimately returning with a monthly payment figure. When I pushed for the actual sales price, he looked me in the eye and said '$42,000.00 and some change.' The final contract shows $47,550. The price never moved once during the entire negotiation. While we waited, I stepped outside for a moment to grab food for our hungry children. In that window, Mike walked my wife directly to the finance office. He then found me inside and steered me toward the service area, telling me there was something I would 'really like' to see. She signed alone. That was not a coincidence -- it was a calculation. When we discovered what had happened, we fought back. For months. Through the dealership, through Hendrick corporate, through the NC Attorney General, through the BBB. Their legal counsel's response to our detailed written complaint was: 'Then we are done here. Good Bye.' Nobody has given us our money back. Nobody has taken responsibility. Reggie Jackson is a legend who earned his reputation through integrity and hard work. He deserves better than to have his name attached to a dealership that operates this way. A family walked through their doors and was treated as a target. Remember that before you walk through theirs.

CJ , with Fred Anderson Kia, was assigned to work with me and keep me updated as the parts were ordered and the work on my car began. I commend CJ for his professionalism and extreme courtesy as he constantly kept me informed. If I texted him a question, he would always respond within a very short time period. If I called him with a question, and he did not answer, he would always call me back within a very reasonable time period with an answer or an update. Today, he texted to say the work was finished and I could pick up my Kia. Since I had been driving a rental through Enterprise, I was able to return it to the Enterprise close to Fred Anderson's Dealership and CJ gave me a ride from Enterprise to Fred Anderson. He went over a few things about the repairs and made a couple of suggestions of a some anti-theft devices I could purchase through Amazon. I really feel CJ deserves a 10 star rating instead of 5. If you are considering buying from this dealership, do not purchase the family plan. It is completely worthless and provided no value when it actually mattered. What makes this even more disappointing is that I trusted this place enough to purchase two brand-new vehicles from them. As a repeat customer, I expected better service, better support, and a company that stands behind the products and plans they sell. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I strongly encourage anyone considering doing business here to carefully review what you're being sold, especially any add-on plans. Based on my experience, the family plan is not worth the money, and the level of service I received after my purchases was extremely disappointing.

They told me that I needed $7500 in work to replace a wiring harness & "crushed" connection box. After leaving, I took a closer look and the connector was loose and undamaged. I plugged it in and the car ran fine & the check engine light cleared. I was panicked unnecessarily because a $7500 w/o body work would have likely totaled the car (that I'd had 3 months). I also can't say that I'm impressed with a car design that put wiring for the transmission between the frame & bumper. It's directly below the left head light in a prime place for damage. This is my first Nissan after 4 Toyotas. I'm inclined to go back to Toyota after this.
