There are booths, tables, high top tables, a few picnic styles bench tables, and a pretty large deck. They recently added a side deck. It would be nice if it was covered and then perhaps some lattice or other barrier to keep the Texas sun off your back! I've tried several things on the menu and I've enjoyed them all. I've seen other meals delivered and they all look great too. Today I popped in for a late lunch and lucky me it was still Brunch O'clock. I wavered between the chicken and waffles and the burger. I saw the burger being delivered to a nearby table and it immediately solidified my decision- burger!! I am a burger and fries "foodie". ;) I'm very picky about my burgers and have eaten some of the best burgers in town. It was delicious! The fries aren't my favorite but decent. The burger was perfectly cooked and so was the egg (breakfast burger). I'd definitely get that again! The bartenders are friendly and they are hard workers. This definitely is a place where their systems are intact. They all work together and get orders out quickly. I'm guessing the bartenders and the waitresses all pool their tips. They all hustle. I sit mainly at the bar so I can see their work effort. I've done that job before so I know how hard it can be.

I wish ABW had a distribution deal in the northeast so I could continue drinking it at my new house. Service at the Beerdrop is usually friendly and just the right amount of attentive--friendly if you're bored, hands-off if you've got a laptop out. One bartender on a slow day even checked on my order at the other food hall counter for me, which was rad. There's a full bar with non-beer options, too, although I've only ever been there for the beer. It can get a little loud and crowded if the wider food hall's busy, but unless you're hitting at peak food o'clock, it's pretty laid-back in there.

Bad news ~ this menu attached is the gluten free menu provided after requested by my friend & they said it's only gluten free ish because items are cooked in similar spaces and they don't have alternatives for buns other than lettuce, for example. And with that, all substitutions are like meat and veggie or chips. It just didn't leave my friend feeling satisfied with our meal afterwards. Service however was good! Cold beers on tap, Aperol Spritzes on a hot day--what is there to complain about?
