We optimized using my brother in law's player rewards to get a comped room, but I would most likely not come back if I had to pay out of pocket. Rooms & hallways are in need of an updated renovation. It's evident that the hotel has not seen any repairs since the early 90's because everything past the lobby has broken down. Throughout our stay, the smell of smoke lingered all over my hair & clothes. The hallways are too dark and receive little to no light so you're forced to walk the halls in dim lighting. The rooms had low level outlet plugs, and tiles falling off. Water in the tub would consistently be dripping despite turning off the water, it ended up making it harder to sleep. The only benefit I can see staying here is they have a great sportsbook with good payouts + the monorail station is conveniently located outside the hotel.

Gambling yes .....FOOD NO!!! I'll keep this simple. It's a sports book with lots of degenerate gamblers getting after it. Major games will be on TV but o oh one is featured. Call and book seating ahead of time if you have more than one in your party. They have a wall of TV's and it's pretty easy to lay down a bet. Food is a walk up menu with bar food. Drinks are not cheap. You get a free drink with every $50 of betting. However my Vidka/Soda was $16 with Absolute. If you want to live and die a bet this is your joint.

Westgate SuperBook is a long time favorite sports book for many. I had an amazing time here. I came here several days in a row to watch sports and consider sports bets. I parked in the free lot, played the piano and witnessed the world as my fellow Americans and international tourists smiled at me and each other while we rooted for our favorite teams. Visitors are encouraged to play the house piano in the lounge just after you enter. Take an Instagram picture at the sunflower covered wall. Admire legendary sports icons like Muhammad Ali in tribute galleries as you stroll past the gift shops on the way here. The Westgate Super Book attracts an awesome collection of everyone. Like Las Vegas. The city of Las Vegas is made up of a hard-working huge-hearted diverse community of people who put on the big show-stopping glamorous production of Vegas every day. On top of that beautiful baseline, regular folks and travelers from all over the US and the world come to Vegas to be shown a great time. So, if you're looking for a good view of the world, come here. If you want to know how many people agree with your philosophy, put it on a sweatshirt and come here. That's what I did. "Everybody vs Racism" How many people agreed with that philosophy here? EVERYONE. ****Applause*** Sports did a great job of bringing people together during trying times and the pandemic too. I'm watching the year's sports highlights with other sports fans. Knees taken. Innings sat out. Masks with meaningful messages. Helmets covered with important, inspiring words and tributes. The next part is kind of special, personal and almost magical. I was admiring sports highlights on my birthday, reflecting about everything we've been through as a community, country, planet. I remembered the hard times when some of us were made to feel like the American flag didn't belong to us. I remembered how sad I was when some of us were discouraged, especially people of color. I know what it's like to be discouraged too. So here I am on my birthday, the trunk of my car is filled with Christmas lights to make a patriotic peace sign, I'm loving my time in Las Vegas and all the smiles and compliments my smile and sweatshirt has just collected when I hear the good news about an American athlete coming home. Best birthday present ever. I looked around to see who else was crying happy tears like me. We smiled at each other. Afterwards I watched sports for a while. The people who work here, the people who come here and the people putting sports headlines on the big screens here are absolutely stunning.:) Cheers fellow sports fans!

I boycotted the Westgate SportsBook for years. We were so rudely treated during the days of the transition from cigars allowed to cigars in certain areas to no cigars that I a 15 person group that I ran with said - by unanimous consent - no mas. With rare exception, the current staff are all smiles and very cool and very helpful. When it comes to sports betting, no one comes close to Westgate's Super Book and Super Book App. For example the Super Bowl betting sheet is over 20 jam packed pages, with little fluff. Literally hundreds of prop bets, parlayable and non parlayable, teaseable and non teaseable. Regular days also have lots of options. The book is by far the biggest in Las Vegas - sorry Cirque your not close. It's also comfortable, function oriented, and cool. I'm not impressed by the multiple nearby food options. Even so solid 5

Big sports book has lots of TVs and you can bet on almost everything. It has a pretty bad smell. Westgate is a pretty big old hotel with a stinky casino, but there's no smoking in this section though. Even so it still reeks like it. The odor drifts over so the rules don't do much. It is said to be the world's largest sports book. Maybe it is or maybe it's not, but it sure is humongous. The place has lots of chairs and hundreds of TVs. It seems kind of dirty. The carpet is nasty. Smoking isn't allowed. You can still smell it coming from the casino so it can't be completely gotten away from so you're still going to smell it so just accept it. Has some junk food. It's hot dogs and such items. There's a buffet and deli too.

Rooms were mediocre. Needs a little updating. Beds were so comfortable! Ice machine did not work on ANY floor! In the summer? Do NOT go to one of their Time Share seminars. It's not worth the 6 hours of your day! They pressure you until I was practically in tears then they say, "Well you don't get the discount for the room because you only came here for the discount and not interested in purchasing a time share" They want your bank account info before the seminar. Wow. Other than that long, horrible afternoon, it was great. Live band was awesome! Won $75 on slots. Still have a $$ voucher here forgot to cash in. Really good time at the casino. It's spacious and not too crowded. Pool area - BEAUTIFUL! We got a room at TI and went to Westgate casino!

Large space, huge HD monitors, comfy chairs and lots of places to eat, drink and view the games. A huge drawback is the piss water they serve at all of the food counters. Budweiser and Bud Light just won't cut it. Ever. During NFL Sunday, the place is packed and they have a few extra food counters for all of your artery clogging junk food needs.

Love this place!!! You can literally hang out for 10 hours here with your buddies and be degenerates !! I actually met Kelly Stewart here!! For you gamblers you know who that is. Love the layout. Love the bets you can place. Awesome food spots in the back from pizza to tacos to Philly cheesesteaks and the footlong hot dogs! Tip... grab a table in the back where the food is and chill out all day instead of trying to get a seat up front at the sportsbook

Great food and friendly staff. Enjoyed the food. You could order pizza, tacos, cheeseburgers all in one area. How convenient is that. It's a little hidden but once you mosey down there it's a nice sight.

The room accommodations were a major highlight. The bed and pillow combination was the most comfortable I have ever experienced, and I really enjoyed the bathroom, which featured excellent water pressure in both the tub and shower. Dining was also a success--the street tacos, nachos, and ramen were delicious, and our breakfast of muffins, bagels, and coffee was spot on. The staff throughout the resort were amazing, and although the pool was a bit crowded, it was kept very clean. While we had a wonderful time, there were some lapses in room service that need improvement. Unfortunately, our room was not thoroughly cleaned during our stay: the table was not cleared after our room service meal, there was some trash left on the floor, and the bathtub had not been properly scrubbed. Additionally, we had to call for a refill on basic items like napkins. Despite those housekeeping oversights, we had a great time and are already planning our return to this hotel!

If you book with Amex, the additional bonuses make this well worth it. In town for a couple days, I booked my stay here with my wife, hoping for somewhere that would offer us options on-property we'd like checking out in case we didn't have time to get to the strip. This area of town isn't always fantastic, as we had less than amazing times at the Conrad, and across the street is the infamous Circus Circus which I won't get into lol. Soon as you walk in, I just love what they've done with the place. Elegant sculptures and architecture mixed with that really nice champagne and ocean blue theme really draw you in. The colors are relaxing, understated, ooze that luxury vibe. I didn't do any gambling but I liked the layout of the floor, they had a bar in the center too like a mini Chandelier Bar ala Cosmopolitan which was a nice touch. Given I booked through Amex Platinum they afford you a really nice amenity package that includes $70/day breakfast credits, a $100 towards drinks/food, wifi credits, and a pass apparently to the Poodle Room, a private bougie club with a dress code that unfortunately was closed only during the days I was there (super bummer!). We had a chance to eat at a few places, Vida, Chez Bon Bon, Komodo, all were really nice and good. Prices are a little high but this is typical in Vegas, the credits took the edge off so that promotion is a key factor in our visiting those locations. I would say though I'd love to see more restaurants open late, aside from Komodo. We were hoping to check out the washed potatoes but it closed too early. Also, while I didn't go, we had just got back from Mexico City last year and seeing Contramar opening a place up here is a fantastic addition. If they are anything like their MC location, you are in for a real treat with that. Absolutely killer seafood. The room which I got the upgrade for was stellar, we had a Panorama Suite, and it was by and large one of the best rooms I've had in Vegas, especially at the price I got it for. While the views are obviously not amazing given the location on the strip, I would definitely book that room again to host friends, etc. You do get to see the mountains which is nice at sunrise. They are a bit more secure at this facility, one thing I hadn't experienced in Vegas was the room key checks before the elevators. I understand the policy but I'd like to make special mention that when we came back from dinner the second night a taller dark skinned gentlemen, older, stopped us and was incredibly rude about it. We had no clue about the policy, and I mean I'm not stuck up at all, I'm a down to earth guy, but this guy acted like such a prick, I came back down to have a word with him about it. He had been swapped with two folks who were infinitely nicer who explained the reasoning for these checks in more detail and apologized on his behalf. Frankly, that's not good enough and management should really pull that guy off that station, you don't talk to people like that, and while it's not enough that I'd dog the property, less patient individuals definitely would. But I digress, this property hosts a lot of high end clientele, so they definitely take room security seriously which for some I assume is a plus. All in all I think this is a well kept property, with easy access to the strip, but enough local options to keep you busy during a short stay. With the added Amex bonuses, there is value to be found without a compromise to the luxury, I would definitely return here with pleasure.

A year ago, they completely botched my wagers, ignored me until I had to involve the Better Business Bureau, and only after being pushed into a corner did they "make it right" with a so-called deal: a free 3-night stay, $150 in spending money, and honoring the original wagers they robbed me on. Fast forward to the "make good" trip--what a joke. The digital key didn't work, leaving me stranded like a clown in front of the elevator. The $150 credit? Surprise, it magically didn't work at certain places. Strike two. And then comes the real kicker--MGM dangled a large free play in my account, I played it, I won, and then they pulled the rug out claiming it was a "clerical error." Instead of honoring a win, they stole it back. Imagine a casino saying, "Oops, our bad--you didn't really win." That's fraud, plain and simple. I again involved the Better Business Bureau and even the Gaming Commission, and what was MGM's response? Offer me the exact same insulting package again--and when I rejected it through the BBB, they outright banned me from the premises. This isn't a world-class operation--it's a ham and egg, nickel-and-dime scam shop hiding behind the MGM name. If you think you're playing fair here, you're not. Last time we were here it was a special occasion and we went all out. We walked all though the strip just to get here to ride the gondola. Boy was that fun. No, it wasn't the same as the ones in Venice (I know because I've been in Venice and ridden one of their gondolas), but you know that going in. You're in Vegas so I didn't expect the same thing. I was looking forward to the Vegas version of this classic ride and I got it. Was it over priced? Yes. At the same time you get what you pay for. A fun ride around the camels in the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. There was supposed to be an photographer taking our picture so we can buy at the end, but his camera malfunctioned so we didn't get the shot. This was a huge disappointment as I'm all about pictures and I really wanted the opportunity to see the glamorous shot the professional photographer took and if it captured the. Moment like i had I would have bought it. Fortunately we weren't totally relaying on him. We brought our own camera and took the perfect shot with the gondolier in the background and the bridge when you come out. It was perfect. You didn't have all the busyness of Vegas in the background. I'm overly thrilled with my photo, I got exactly what I paid for a fun ride and the perfect shot to frame and remember this day. And yes, I really did frame it and it sits on my piano. As long as you know what you're paying for, it's totally worth it. And now that you've seen my shot and know that it's taken at the end of the ride when you come out from under the bridge, you can get the same shot too. Have fun and enjoy Vegas and the Venetian. For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. I always leave here feeling great!
