I chose to stay at this hotel because I had great childhood memories of being here with my parents. Now that I have two children of my own, I wanted to make those type of memories with them. Initially, I had booked the cheapest room. Upon checking in, they have kiosks that you check yourself into and it hands you the keys. The kiosk offered a room upgrade for $30 more so I accepted. The place is very lively and super packed. The parking situation is a nightmare. The spots are so small and you're going around in circles forever hoping someone will leave. We parked in the structure almost at the very top and had to take the elevator back down. The elevator was absolutely repulsive. You can tell that it's never been cleaned since 1968 when they opened. It's supposed to be a smoke free hotel but reaks of cigarettes. Once we found our room, we were hit with a tremendously awful smell. I sprayed my boyfriend's cologne everywhere and even that didn't help. There's no fridge, no microwave, no coffee pot, nothing. The toiletries are a prison bar of soap and a conditioner that's drilled to the wall. The place is ghettoooo. Ladies so drunk their breasts are out and guys so sloppy drunk they're dropping their belongings. I will say that AdventureDome being just downstairs from your room is a really nice touch. There's also a Starbucks, Popeyes, and Pick Up Sticks. They are incredibly inflated though and customer service is terrible so I wouldn't suggest it. They also have a splash pad that looks super fun but it's sooo crowded I didn't even bother. I think the worst part of this stay were the hotel elevators during checkout. It's a huge mob of people all waiting for the same elevator and when it finally arrives, it's too crowded to even go into. There was people shoving each other or cutting each other. We legit waited thirty minutes until we decided to just take the one million flight of stairs. Overall I would not suggest it at all. I paid $273.05 for two nights and I guess you get what you pay for so I think next time I'll spend more money and go elsewhere.

Mr. Ruffin has now decided to bring back vintage Vegas Prices with $2 hot dogs, shrimp cocktails, Heiniken, popcorn and $5 table games! Customers who are value sensitive will love it here. No matter where you're staying in Vegas, you should make your way here to enjoy the vintage pricing. Thank me later.

That old tune, "the song that remains the same!" You can come here when you're a child and it's the same dance . Same song ! We are reliving the moment where we all met. When I was a little kid again. The demise of the Circus is coming! Remember when come and spend an extra hour of your day to make this not happen as fast . Vegas is changing and with the birth of new hotels this one is going to come to an end. We went old school Vegas. We played at the last slot machine in Vegas that takes coins . Wow and actually won! Celebrate the past to leave it here and move into the future. The midway upstairs is still fun ! The games are in great condition. You can still loose your self for a time and land on your feet being a kid again. Come and see old Vegas that warm feeling before it's gine

Circus Circus feels really old and outdated, and honestly, it comes across as pretty gross in some areas. The room was run down and dated. We didn't stay. The whole place just lacks the clean, fresh vibe you'd expect from a Vegas hotel. It tries to be fun with its carnival theme, but it ends up feeling cheap and a bit run-down instead. Definitely not the best choice if you're looking for a comfortable or modern stay.

This was our last resort because we got side tracked to vegas for a few days after our flight was cancencelled until two days later. This was the only hotel available. It's unfortunate because we do not like this hotel and still do not after this stay. For starters, this place is dirty and filthy as seen in some of my pictures. In our original room, it smelled like weed and cigarettes. We asked to move and were presented with a better smelling room. The staff were overall friendly. Most of the hotel smells. It is also located off the strip so it's a pretty long walk to get to the attractions and main hotels. There are also no circus shows playing when we stayed here!! The evelvator was reliable and the water pressure in the bathrooms was nice. Besides that, I don't have many good things to say about this place. Every door we touched, shocked us and it made me feel dirty staying here. I wouldn't recommend unless absolutely required. For kids however, I can see how this would be fun. There is a whole kid area with roller coasters and arcade games. If I was a child, I would enjoy this for a few hours. The outdoor pool would be fun too

One price came out higher, room no fridge with 25 daily cost, no assistance at Sky towers, repeatedly front desk never contacted housekeeping( they were the best in this hotel) my son are disabled and said no could assist us until Thursday morning with luggage because they are there at 3pm and was given a different room with two bed instead of king size for two.

The check in process is an absolute nightmare and took us over an hour because the gentleman available to help our "pod" was not helpful, refused to help us look up our reservation and just kept pointing us to a kiosk that was not working for us. After an hour I had a meltdown, my anxiety kicked in, and I wound up crying all the way to our room once we were finally able to check in after my husband was made to walk back to our car to retrieve my license, a directive by Ron, husband getting lost in the casino while I waited with all of our bags, no cell service in the lobby, and finally convincing Ron to look up our reservation and find that it was my husbands name even though I booked through my Expedia and Ron flicking my drivers license back to me dismissively and then going to "help" others, leaving my husband and I standing there still trying to check in in a sea of people also trying to check in. As for the room, it was basic, zero amenities

Circus Circus is one of those classic Vegas spots. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and now we bring our son, so there's definitely nostalgia attached. We always head up to the Midway, play the carnival games, and catch the free shows. The games are affordable at around $2-$2.50 each, which is rare these days, and the weekend shows, trapeze, juggling, and other acts, are fun to watch and don't cost a thing. That said, it's more about the experience than the wow factor. If you're looking for a simple, family-friendly place to let the kids have fun without spending a ton, Circus Circus delivers. Just don't expect anything beyond the basics.

Upon check in, this is what was in the room. How does housekeeping miss this?!!!

I would truly like to understand what they do well here. Arrived an hour earlier than check in and was told it would cost us $30+ if we chose to check in early. We declined. Room had zero frills. Our window had a view of a wall. No fridge, microwave nor coffee maker. I didn't expect much but hoped for better. Only two sets of towels with no hand towels. The shampoo container was sitting on the tub. The crusty double backed tape was still stuck on the shower surround. A simple repair, yet they made a decision not to. Only three hangers in the room. Called next day to get towels. Instead of getting housekeeping, it was forwarded to front desk where I waited a half hour before hanging up. Went to front desk and told them our needs. Handed the phone and she connected me right away to housekeeping. They then delivered towels within the hour. My wife was able to get ahold of housekeeping via phone, as we were getting short of TP. No delivery... again went to front desk and delivery made hours later. Not all was terrible. Water pressure and hot water is great. Because of the convention the rates for this subpar property were over $160 a night. These rooms typically go for $30 a night, though I wouldn't stay here unless I absolutely had to even at $30 a night....

Even with low expectations, the hotel failed to meet them. The place is so run down, old, and smells. It was a ghost town. The room itself had questionable stains on the furniture, no hangers in the closet, broken wood inside the closet, no fan in the bathroom, and just general sense of a forgotten hotel stuck in the past. The server at the Big Chill 2 frozen margarita bar was nice though. They say you get what you pay for, but even at the price which includes a $50 per day resort fee, it's not worth it.

How is the food for kids?

There's a good court but not cheap, a pizza restaurant and the buffet wasn't open the last time we visited, I wanna say there's also more food up at the 2nd floor where the shops are and you might find something! McDonald's also available on second…

    Is it pet friendly?

Honestly I doubt it. It is very crowded, noisy and I did not see any place if you have a dog to walk it. It is surrounded by sidewalks.

Is there any dance clubs or lounge? Also is there any beer pong to play on the strip?

Not at Circus Circus Beer Pong can be played at Planet Hollywood

    Is the buffet open?

When we were there in April it was open

    Do the rooms have microwaves?

The room that we had didn't have a microwave.

    Is there free airport shuttle?

Go somewhere else, don’t stay there!

Planning a family trip in August want to know if the rooms are clean?

My husband was recently there and the room looked like it hadn’t been clean in a while. And when he brought it to the supervisor was rude

Planning on going to Vegas for the first time how's the rooms here?

    Decent and cheap.

So you need to be vaccinated?

No, we do not check guest vaccination status. We are following the mask mandate that is still in place.

Is the roller coaster is still open?

    Yes, both coasters are running.

Is there valet parking available right now?

    No, only self park.

Can I use a different to check in both have my name on it I looked it up on there site it said only need id card I was want to sure I can?

Are you able to buy day passes for the pool?or do u have to be staying at the hotel?

Hello is the Adventuredome open in the monthnif January??? thank you

Yes, The Adventuredome is open in January, however we do have some scheduled closures for maintenance. The closures are scheduled on Jan 11-14, Jan 19-21, and Jan 26-28. We hope to see you soon!

Do the rooms have mini fridges or coolers?

    no they don't

    Yes, self parking is free.

Me and my girl friend plan on going to Vegas in August. Would you recommend this hotel? How clean is the rooms/bathrooms and amusement park? And how safe do you feel when you're there? Is the food any good?

No, isn't all that clean and is run down. It's not very safe look at news reports about fights and shootings that occur there. Food mainly sucks unless you eat at the expensive steakhouse.

Is the water slides available for children or is that an additional cost?

They are available and free to kids In the pool area as long as you stay at Circus Circus. They just have to be a certain height.

    Can you receive mail here?

Going next week with my fam. Wife and I are veterans here but never been with our kids (ages 10 and 5). Wondering what are the pros to staying here and are there any "perks" with staying here? Ex:discounts on rides, food, tour?. I've heard the bad!

Not sure about perks but the kids will enjoy the arcade and circus shows performed daily .$34 Adults/$20 kids all day ride pass at the AdventureDome it includes 3D/4D movies and laser tag included. Don't waste money on concession stand to expensive.…

While we were here this time we indulged in some ice cream and really enjoyed the hand made ice cream. It really tasted handmade with bits of real strawberries in it. Last time we were here it was a special occasion and we went all out. We walked all though the strip just to get here to ride the gondola. Boy was that fun. No, it wasn't the same as the ones in Venice (I know because I've been in Venice and ridden one of their gondolas), but you know that going in. You're in Vegas so I didn't expect the same thing. I was looking forward to the Vegas version of this classic ride and I got it. Was it over priced? Yes. At the same time you get what you pay for. A fun ride around the camels in the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. There was supposed to be an photographer taking our picture so we can buy at the end, but his camera malfunctioned so we didn't get the shot. This was a huge disappointment as I'm all about pictures and I really wanted the opportunity to see the glamorous shot the professional photographer took and if it captured the. Moment like i had I would have bought it. Fortunately we weren't totally relaying on him. We brought our own camera and took the perfect shot with the gondolier in the background and the bridge when you come out. It was perfect. You didn't have all the busyness of Vegas in the background. I'm overly thrilled with my photo, I got exactly what I paid for a fun ride and the perfect shot to frame and remember this day. And yes, I really did frame it and it sits on my piano. As long as you know what you're paying for, it's totally worth it. And now that you've seen my shot and know that it's taken at the end of the ride when you come out from under the bridge, you can get the same shot too. Have fun and enjoy Vegas and the Venetian. Maybe even walk around the quaint streets and have some ice cream after your ride.

For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. I always leave here feeling great!

Dining was also a success--the street tacos, nachos, and ramen were delicious, and our breakfast of muffins, bagels, and coffee was spot on. The staff throughout the resort were amazing, and although the pool was a bit crowded, it was kept very clean. While we had a wonderful time, there were some lapses in room service that need improvement. Unfortunately, our room was not thoroughly cleaned during our stay: the table was not cleared after our room service meal, there was some trash left on the floor, and the bathtub had not been properly scrubbed. If you book with Amex, the additional bonuses make this well worth it. In town for a couple days, I booked my stay here with my wife, hoping for somewhere that would offer us options on-property we'd like checking out in case we didn't have time to get to the strip. This area of town isn't always fantastic, as we had less than amazing times at the Conrad, and across the street is the infamous Circus Circus which I won't get into lol. Soon as you walk in, I just love what they've done with the place. Elegant sculptures and architecture mixed with that really nice champagne and ocean blue theme really draw you in. The colors are relaxing, understated, ooze that luxury vibe. I didn't do any gambling but I liked the layout of the floor, they had a bar in the center too like a mini Chandelier Bar ala Cosmopolitan which was a nice touch. Given I booked through Amex Platinum they afford you a really nice amenity package that includes $70/day breakfast credits, a $100 towards drinks/food, wifi credits, and a pass apparently to the Poodle Room, a private bougie club with a dress code that unfortunately was closed only during the days I was there (super bummer!). We had a chance to eat at a few places, Vida, Chez Bon Bon, Komodo, all were really nice and good. Prices are a little high but this is typical in Vegas, the credits took the edge off so that promotion is a key factor in our visiting those locations. I would say though I'd love to see more restaurants open late, aside from Komodo. We were hoping to check out the washed potatoes but it closed too early. Also, while I didn't go, we had just got back from Mexico City last year and seeing Contramar opening a place up here is a fantastic addition. If they are anything like their MC location, you are in for a real treat with that. Absolutely killer seafood. The room which I got the upgrade for was stellar, we had a Panorama Suite, and it was by and large one of the best rooms I've had in Vegas, especially at the price I got it for. While the views are obviously not amazing given the location on the strip, I would definitely book that room again to host friends, etc. You do get to see the mountains which is nice at sunrise. They are a bit more secure at this facility, one thing I hadn't experienced in Vegas was the room key checks before the elevators. I understand the policy but I'd like to make special mention that when we came back from dinner the second night a taller dark skinned gentlemen, older, stopped us and was incredibly rude about it. We had no clue about the policy, and I mean I'm not stuck up at all, I'm a down to earth guy, but this guy acted like such a prick, I came back down to have a word with him about it. He had been swapped with two folks who were infinitely nicer who explained the reasoning for these checks in more detail and apologized on his behalf. Frankly, that's not good enough and management should really pull that guy off that station, you don't talk to people like that, and while it's not enough that I'd dog the property, less patient individuals definitely would. But I digress, this property hosts a lot of high end clientele, so they definitely take room security seriously which for some I assume is a plus. All in all I think this is a well kept property, with easy access to the strip, but enough local options to keep you busy during a short stay. With the added Amex bonuses, there is value to be found without a compromise to the luxury, I would definitely return here with pleasure.

Meet Sal: Monella! *The pool situation is absurd and offensive: Not only can't you escape the aural pollution that pervades the whole property (more on that later)...but it's actually hard) to find an unoccupied (and unreserved) chaise lounge. -I got KICKED OFF one because it was "reserved"....NO SIGN...NO ONE "claiming it"... *Gotta pay EXTRA for even a G-D pool chair - Hell, $500. $1,000, $1,500 a night - AIN'T ENOUGH! *Booze prices are beyond absurd! Paid $15 or so for a "pour" of ordinary Tito's vodka. Needed an ELECTRON MICROSCOPE to see the likker! (But I only did it once, as my flasks of Toki and Pikesville and a Hamm's 12'er...took care of me.) *The bellhops move at a comatose pace, and when we arrived, we were informed that there'd be a "slight delay" of 45 minutes in bringing up our bags. After an HOUR had passed, we just took the G-D things ourselves. Yeah - now ain't THAT first-class service! *The concierge on duty was a dullard and a do-nothing doofus who couldn't do "jack" for us. Needs a job at the 'Boreyard by Mary Ott.' *NO smoking allowed at the OTB (Sportsbook area) Huh??? Effin' VEGAS and I can't even smoke a good cigar (or even a bad one) while play the races? S-H-I-I-T-E!!! **GOONS everywhere -had to use my key just to take the elevator to my floor, and had to withstand the glaring imprimatur of "security" people every time. (My favorite guy, who appears to have been either a "Blood" or a "Crip,"...received the moniker...'SMILEY!' -Although I wouldn't consider buying the wildly marked-up "luxury" goods peddled in the Wynn shops, I couldn't help but notice the scowling dorks in dark suits who stand outside the portals, arms folded. (No buddy - I ain't buyin' yer' lousy $50K watch; so shove it OK?) __________ Now, neighbor - are ya' ready for the veritable TOP-TWO reasons NOT to wander into the Wynn? 1) NONSTOP high-volume pop-schlock aural excrement THUMPING throughout the place. EVERYWHERE. Pay exorbitant room rates and then be subjected to lowest-common-denominator NOISE? WHO likes that garbage? ("effluencers?") -How about QUIET? -If that's not possible - how about actual MUSIC played at moderate levels? WHY must we endure moron-music and WHY were we not warned that it would be infesting the air? 2) EURO/MIDEAST TRASH guests swarming like maggots, pushing in front of you and invading your space without so much as an "EXCUSE ME!"... ...Mega-wealthy SCUM that shouldn't even be allowed in America - much less catered to by an ostensible "top class" hotel! Thank you for reading my words of timeless wisdom!

There's a separate check-in area for The Reserve which I really liked. It was not crowded at all. Upon checkin, they gave me a coconut macaroon which was amazing! I did like that special touch. There are separate elevators going to the Reserve Rooms. However, it is still shared with some of the upper floors from Park MGM. I know that other hotels on the strip have separate elevators exclusively for separate parts of the hotel. I really enjoyed my Atelier room. It was a little bit larger than the standard room. The distinguishing factor about this room is really the bathtub in the room. However, the bathtub itself seems to be a liability for the hotel. I have to say that someone can easily slip and fall in the bathtub. Use extreme caution when using the bathtub. I loved the European french decor. The toilet was a little far away from the bed, but I suppose that is good if you are traveling with somone so when they went to the restroom, it would be less noticable (more privacy, less noise). Since they are hardwood floors, I can hear chairs being moved around from the rooms above me during my stay. I was a little bit irked. Other than that, my stay was quite enjoyable at The Reserve.

A nice stay. I…read morestayed at The Reserve at Park MGM for two nights and had a pretty good time. I was not wowed by anything in particular, but I still enjoyed my stay. The lobby where we checked in was super dark and moody. There was a lot of seating and nice decor. It was chilly in there which felt like a nice escape from the Vegas heat. It was relatively quick for us to get checked in and receive our keys. This dark and dramatic theme is carried throughout the hotel and to the guest room areas too. We were put in Rm 30-24, which we converted into an adjoining room with Suite 30-22. Our room felt small to me. The bed takes up the majority of the room with little walking space. There is a desk, flat screen TV, sofa, and small wardrobe. The closet is pretty spacious and has some robes, slippers, and a steamer. The sofa was very stiff and honestly looked a bit dingy. There were crumbs on the seat and the pillows were incredibly old and limp. I was hesitant to sit on it! The closet felt disproportionately large for the room. I would have preferred a smaller closet to have more space in the room itself. The rooms and hallways are all so dark. There is no overhead lighting, only tiny lamps throughout the room. I am personally not a fan of this as it made the room feel even smaller and claustrophobic. I understand they are trying to make it feel ambient and moody, but the way it was presented felt more like sleeping in a cave. Inside the closet was the brightest area of the hotel! If you choose to have a conjoined room, it is impractical to keep the doors open. When the adjoining doors are open, it is impossible to use the doors facing the hallway. Everything was cramped and the doors were constantly banging against each other. The bathroom was nice with a spacious shower. The water pressure was slightly better than average, but not super strong. They provided the usual amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, cotton swabs + cotton pads, makeup remover wipes, and a shower cap. I must say, the shampoo and conditioner were spectacular. My hair felt super soft and had no frizz when it dried. It smelled very nice too. The rest of the hotel was just okay. There is not much to do besides lay at the pool and gamble. It is pretty quiet and laid-back. That being said, the casino was pretty small. I did like that it was non-smoking though so it was not suffocating to walk through it. I enjoyed the pool area. Despite it being a hot summer day, there was plenty of seating and lounge chairs available. The music the DJ was playing was really good and the pool was super chilly. This is definitely not my first choice for a Vegas hotel but I could stay here again.

The most unassuming quaint hotel I've ever witnessed…read more It's easy to think that going to Vegas means you have to stay on The Strip--ease of transportation, proximity to the shows, and the ambiance of "the Las Vegas" experience. However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.

This will look like to most a motel with a drive up to your room and an upstairs set of rooms. No pool . You are with in walking distance of the Four Seasons The Luxor and Mandalay Bay etc This is on Las Vegas South You can buy breakfast on site. Free coffee up in the front office with package cookies They have a mini fridge in the room. I was gone early in the morning and was back late The minus was street noise from construction and I was there on trash day so the trash truck backing up at 5:50 Am was an early morning wake up call ( I needed to be up at that time anyways) No house keeping while for my two day stay I would be happy to stay here again

Check-in here is almost completely automated, which I don't love, but they do have staff nearby to help with any issues. I stayed on the 16th floor of the Rush Tower;with a Strip and pool view. This was a King room and it was huge! Large king-sized bed, couch, desk area, mini-fridge, and a large bathroom. Very quiet with literally zero outside noise coming through the window. My favorite part of the Golden Nugget is their shark tank pool, but sadly the tank has a crack, so most of the sharks and fish have been removed, but the pool is still open. Their pool is small and only gets sun from about 10am until 3pm because of their new tower. On Fridays Tons of amazing food options are offered here. Everything from fine dining to fast food; the Chart House (seafood), Red (sushi), Cadillac (mexican), The Grille (24-hour diner food), and a Chick-fil-A that opened until 2am Mon - Fri. Definitely book a table at Vic & Anthony's, arguably one of Vegas' best steakhouses. Along with quick access to Fremont street and the local downtown scene, the Golden Nugget is a must stay if you've never been before.
