Attended a student art show last night with a friend who teaches a class at PCA. There were so fantastic pieces created by the adult students. In addition of course there were other exhibits that we were able to tour. When I was in art school this was a place we visited often. Time to get back in the swing of things. The gift shop is still fantastic and filled with lots of unique items.

After brunch at Square cafe we needed to take a little walk and absorb some rays. It is a very serene setting and once they get the fountain running I may just come to sit and ponder. The building is so big and they offer many summer art classes so check out the website to see what they have. Events are held here all summer, mostly weddings. I went in to see the printmaking lab, I mostly do screenprinting but they don't have the light tables or screens here. The receptionist was so helpful and said that there would be printmaking classes over the summer and to call one of the directors to see what they might be able to do for me in regards to the type of medium I want to work with. If you need a place to do intaglio or relief printing they have a great space to print!

St Bernard's - a huge statue of a St Bernard guards the entrance. I personal LOVE IT ! Bring an owner of two St Bernard's !! The gym is average size red & white. The campus rents out the gym when not in use to the community athletic clubs. Today it is Plum soccer !! Great gym come and check it out !!!

I have attended many musical concerts on this campus, and they are excellent. Several times in the past, they have hosted fundraising concerts (Japan tsunami, earthquake in Nepal) and they have shown a generous and compassionate outreach in times of tragic circumstances.

If it wasn't for Paint Monkey (beautiful interior and half the price of Paint & Sip by the way) we wouldn't have done anything that afternoon. We have yet to here back from someone in regards to the matter. The whole situation on top of the terrible customer service, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

When someone finally responded I was on my way back to Indiana. I let them know that I would be back in two weeks and which day and time could I come to pick up my jacket I was told On Sunday at 6:30pm. I arrive at the location and no one was there. I sat there for over a hour and no one showed. This location only communicates by email. I sent another email asking if someone was coming so I could retrieve my jacket no response. When someone finally responded I was on my way back home. I asked if my jacket could be mailed and I was told that I would have to pay for my jacket to be shipped. I felt like I shouldn't have to pay for shipping because I went to the establishment twice and no one was there. I asked again if my jacket could be mailed and was told that they would send me $20 for my jacket. I said no, my jacket cost more then $20. The owner told me that my jacket was not there anymore that someone took it. I called the establishment and the owner answered. I tried to explain how I felt and that I tried twice to come get my jacket and she told me that she didn't care about how I felt or my situation. She was very rude and disrespectful. I will never patronize this location ever again.

I was scheduled last minute with Rebekah. I was pretty nervous because I've had some traumatic haircuts in the past and I expressed that to her as soon as I sat in the chair. Don't be fooled by her quiet nature and delicate touch. Rebekah is an absolute BEAST behind the scissors! The teacher Mrs Marie was knowledgeable, very professional and very patient. all I can say is....WOW... I couldn't be happier with the result. Rebekah should be so proud of herself. Her precision, attention to detail, and patience blew me away. If anything, I just hope she steps into her confidence even more because her talent is undeniable.
