After he quit working at my residence, I tried on multiple occasions in contacting him for a receipt of the work he had done and answers to issues I had regarding his installation work, he was not responding. I also approached the Menards store in person on multiple trips since they still were in contact with him and continued and continue to display him as a referenced installer in their cabinet/appliance department (as of July 30, 2025). Finally, I received an email from that Menards store claiming 'you (implying me) made racist statements.... that we wasn't responding to you due to this' (Menards use of improper English noted). This was a general statement of claims of 'racist statements' on the Menards electronic domain (email), and by a Menards employee apparently on their time clock at the time of the dissemination of that email. I immediately, the next day, asked them in detail what exactly I said were 'racist statements'? I have also asked their corporate office in Wisconsin specifically in detail what I said were these statements. As of today, there has been no response to my request of the accused claims against me. On July 30, 2025, I went to that Menards store to ask in person, the manager of what in 'detail' I said were 'racist statements'. The acting manager at that time was a 'Darrell' , as Justin Wetter (the current manager) was apparently not there. 'Darrell' used the same excuse that Wetter made in his email to me, that it was made by a person no longer at Menards. 'Darrell' said he would have to end the conversation, that it was a legal issue. He wrote down my email and phone number. Either he did not pursue (probably not surprisingly, as indicated by his demeanor to me) or their legal department is refusing to reply, as I have not received the requested detail to date of what I was accused of making. Since Menards still has (as of July 30, 2025) a business relationship (i.e. has him displayed as a reference installer in their cabinet/appliance area) with Reeves (dba JR Construction Co), it is presumed they are currently in contact with him (as the email indicated he is presumed to have been the one making the general claim that I made racist statements). And, Menards is/was an accomplice by delaying the response/no response to me, as they indicated in their email (in the attached) 'that we wasn't responding to you due to this' . Their reasoning for no reply for my request of the detail of racist statements they claimed I made is that the manager that initiated that email is no longer with Menards. Regardless of which Menards employee spread claims accusing me of making racist statements, it was a Menards employee, not on his or her personal time. The burden is on Menards to produce the detail I am requesting as they initiated this general claim of me making 'racist statements', otherwise Menards is making (via that email to me) false claims that is defamatory towards me. It is also important to note I took the installer, Jarom Reeves (dba JR Construction) to Sedgwick County, KS small claims court in January 2025 regarding his defective installation work. I was awarded a summary judgement against Reeves. The judgement became delinquent. I had to seek garnishment, it was paid I am presuming by him and not received by me until June 2025. I write this with regret, as I had put trust in Menards and their business relationship(s) in spending my hard earned money. I now will only visit them and buy only their sale items (minimal margins, if any). I hope other members of the public will take heed to my disappointment and not be victims of disrespect and defamatory treatment by this Menards store and now as evidenced by no response from their corporate legal department, Menards in general.

At $1.69 a roll, it is cheaper than human wrap in the pharmacy, Walgreen's or anywhere else "sticky" wrap is sold. ( At about $4-$6 a roll and not as wide. ) Bonus: horse wrap comes in a variety of colors! I noted that wrap now comes in a 4-pack, which was even more economical. My daughter selected the camouflage, which was agreed upon by all of us for now and future wrapping. I noted the current price on bird food for future purchase. We didn't really have time to shop. We just grabbed and went. Next time...

They finally delivered our dishwasher on 1/12, we got it installed on 1/13. We decided we probably should try to use the dishwasher so on 1/22 we attempted to use it for the first time and we kept getting E4/F8 error messages so.. Home Depot told us to call the Whirlpool warranty line to get a service tech to take a look. The service tech came out on 1/28th and what he found was crazy. The actual dishwasher was defective and there was a rusted/burnt hole in the bottom of the tub which we wouldn't haven't seen underneath some bolts in the dishwasher. So we went back to Home Depot because we BOUGHT what we thought was a brand new dishwasher and they don't want to replace it. We PAID for a brand new one and do not want a REFURBISHED dishwasher when we haven't even had it but a couple of weeks and haven't been able to run 1 cycle. look at the pictures and tell me if a brand new dishwasher should look like this. The customer should ALWAYS be right and they should have done the right thing by ordering a new one. We have spent 5k-6k in the last several months and this is how you treat your customers.. by giving them the run around?? The tech's words: Found unit leaking from Tub of unit. Appears heater bracket where they welded it is leaking through the bottom. Which is what the 2 pictures shows. Unacceptable! They should have replaced (not try to fix) this immediately. If i wanted a refurbished dishwasher I would have bought it from a store that sells refurbished goods. If losing a customer is worth not just replacing the dang dishwasher it's just terrible! This is an update to my original review. While waiting for…read morethe replacement stove to arrive (during that 2 week wait mentioned in the original review), we were contacted several times by the department supervisor, Antonia, who wanted to stay on top of how things were progressing. Following the arrival of the replacement stove from Lowes, it was delivered and installed professionally, and quickly. The following day, Antonia called us again to verify all was good with the delivery - she then told us she was submitting a ticket to the corporate office for some compensation for our trouble. We got a call the same day and the gentlemen from the corporate office informed us they would be sending us an email with a link for some monetary compensation, which we received that same day. While it wasn't a huge amount, it was a little biggeer than we expected and it was a nice gesture. I updated my rating to a 3-3.5 specifically for the help and attention we got ofter our misfortune began - the shipping agents at the Northwest Store, the Superior Supervisor at the East store (Antonia), and the corporate office gentleman who's name I cannot find in my notes. Lowes did work hard to "make it right", so they got the upgrade. I would still caution anyone using them to remain VERY detail orientated, and ask even the simplest of clarifications to make sure you understand what you're getting. Follow ups are a MUST as the sooner you catch an error or mistake in their process, the easier it might be able to adjust/fix.

They kept sending a bill although only 112$ but did not care it was under warranty as I had to pay for the service call. I left messages for the owner to call many times with no response. Beware: They are the worst example of a company who does not honor their inferior materials with work. I paid this as I feel they were ready to place a lien for this.
