I manage a 22,000 sf artist studio building, with 5000+ sf of common area, including 4 restrooms, hallways, wash sinks, glass doors, and a lobby with seating area. Northstar is the third company I have worked with over the 9 years since the building opened. The first cleaning company gradually began to cut corners, so I found a second company, but this 2nd company started to send different staff for each visit, which lead to poor communication and things being half-done, done incorrectly, or not done at all. I was fed up with always having to do quality control checks after their visits, so thank God LaToya (Northstar) was among the companies I interviewed to find their replacement. Northstar was exactly the kind of operation I had hoped for: A family based, highly competent and personable crew, who care deeply about the quality of their work, instilled with pride and morality. They are consistent, thorough, and even bring a creative, inventive spirit to their work, which is unexpected and delightful. She kept in contact with me, which was amazing. I decided to go with her company and it was the best decision ever! Within two weeks, I emailed her my dimensions of my blinds, she had an installer come over and measured all my windows right away. The installer was very professional. He was social distancing with gloves and mask. He was careful and made sure to keep things disinfectant and clean. Great communication with the company. The price were also good! The next day it was undone & Ricky said there was a mistake, so he was having his guys redo it. I never had to watch them and if they ever did anything that needed to be fixed...they were more than happy to fix. Even after the remodel we've used them to fix a huge leak in our front yard when one of our pipes burst, we've had them put up a beautiful fence with planters and now we have them working on shelves for our office.
