Found 1st choice roofing and hired to fix sections of my roof less than a year ago (June 2024). In…read moreaddition to the repair cost, they charged $700 for it being a 3 story home and another $600 for the pitch angle. At the time when the repair was being done, the speed at which they were working was a little concerning. This was due to the fact that I was sold on replacing all vents on the roof as well but witness the technicians leave without doing so. They came back soon after me contacting the project manager that I only only saw them go up with a bundle of shingles before and proceeded to complete the vent replacements. Once they completed the repairs, I contacted the project manager again and asked for drone footage of the repairs so I could compare them to the initial inspection photos. He then got offensive stating that his technicians were risking their lives in order to repair my roof and kept saying they stand by their workmanship and provide a 1 year warranty. I started to suspect the project manager did not fully explain to the technicians on what to repair and only repaired the obvious damage and not the improperly installed shingles the project manager sold me on to repair. Fast forward to today (April 2025), sections of my roof have shingles blowing off again which are photographed in the initial inspection last year. I contacted 1st choice to start a warranty claim and was soon told they can warranty shingles they replaced but the ones that were missed a few feet away is considered new damage and had to be treated at such. I told them ok, please get me an estimate on the repair and we can proceed with the warrantied areas. After receiving the estimate, they again charged the 3 story fee and pitch angle fee even though they will be going up to repair the warrantied areas anyways because it is "to be treated as new damage" while also stating on the estimate that they no longer can warranty any repairs because of the build material. I would not have found out my roof was damaged if I didn't switch insurance company and they send an inspector out to look at my roof. Missed agreed upon repairs and damaged repairs they are hesitant to fix. If they are currently working on your home, make sure you have footage of the completed agreed repairs after. If you're considering, make sure you have everything documented to cover yourself cause they are for sure covering themselves.

TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY…read more Wife of the previous 1-star review describing the concrete seal / anti-scratch nightmare. SOOO happy Cristian responded to our review in the manner that he did -- perfectly shows who he and his company is, what they stand for, and what awaits you as a homeowner. 1) Admits that one of HIS EMPLOYEES DID make those promises to us. This is the only reason we decided to move forward with the job -- "nothing will scratch this product". Particularly our dogs and entry foot traffic. If we would've been told that there was ANY risk of scratches, we would've never moved forward and co toned looking for other treatments. We were deceived. 2) "Employee is no longer with us" Just because you fired someone one later, doesn't mean that the promises (lies), and work (mess) they did while representing your company magically go away. It was your employee, working under your name, take accountability, that's business. 3) "Sorry we couldn't keep your dog from scratching your floor" Again, dodging accountability and flipping the blame back to the homeowner. Outrageous statement to make after having admitted that his employee did make promises of "nothing will scratch this product", and us having specifically asked about - dogs, shoes, rocks, and dragging furniture. But what he will tell you now is, "you should've known". As if the homeowner is expected to be the expert. Extremely childish. 4) Despite whatever he may say now, IN WRITING, he agreed to pay back 50% of the job ($2500) over 10 months. And after 5 months, only $200 has been paid. He will dodge every call, every text, and when you do finally reach him, he will LIE and say "oh yes, I'll send it right now" , and then have you start the monthly chase cycle again. He made this agreement himself. Not a former employee. So what's the excuse now? Yet another example of Cristian and his company failing in their promises and commitments.
