Consider taking a course and researching your rights and laws as they pertain to a divorce, separation, property, pre-ups, maintenance etc. * Edit ALL documents for errors in spelling, dates and other critical information. Before documents are sent on your behalf ask for prior review. This allows you to make be certain the agreed guidelines for the timeline & strategy are also being followed. *Be on the lookout for consistency and duplicate emails sent by other people on her team. Many people will be working on your case so you might be paying for it twice. *Keep a detailed log so you can review all billing and related documents. Buckle up, the last bill will be significantly more then you expected. *Know that there will be "0" financial allowances in pricing for her or her team's consistent errors. *If you want creative solutions to settlements you will have to create them yourself, as her team is busy and she is not interested in getting you the best settlement. *Then prepare yourself for changes in representation at the final hearing. Come to the job center really helped me when I first moved out here with my brothers couple years ago and you needed some groceries and they hooked us up with EBT at the time and we were able to eat on the same day. This is a really great place for you to go handle all your business and take care of it by the end of the day is sometimes those calls can be long way.
