Very clean and good selection in snacks and treats. Only thing is this place closes early and the cashier lady is very rude no customer service

One of the nicest stops along Highway 5, which we just happened to find because we pulled off the freeway to get my laptop out of the trunk of the car! Walk into to this fine country store & you'll find a veritable treasure trove of items to satisfy your traveling wishes! ** CLEAN restrooms that are not scary to use! I can speak for the ladies' restrooms, anyway. ** There's a SUBWAY here! Get you some chicken noodle soup & a sandwich while you're traveling! There are about 6 little nice tables inside to enjoy your food by the Subway counter. ** So many delicious country DRIED FRUITS & NUTS here! About $9-$10 a bag and up. Cashews, chocolate covered almonds, crystallized ginger, dried pineapple fruit rings, almost everything your snacky heart desires! ** Much more. They even have FRESH FRUIT, DRINKS, TOYS galore like small squishy animals, mini LOL Dolls with chocolate, cute country home decor, beef jerky, candy bars galore, chips and more chips, lots of cold drinks, gifts for the Baker and wine enthusiast, and very nice service. ** MY YELP ELITE TIP: ** TOTALLY DELICIOUS HOMEMADE FUDGE** is also what we walked out with, too. Omg, if you like Rocky Road, you HAVE TO buy a square of the rocky road fudge. ONLY $3.99 FOR HEAVEN IN YOUR MOUTH! Plus, it's super cute decor inside, depending on the season. It was totally decked out inside for the holiday season with Christmas trees festooned with lovely ornaments to buy. Yeah, some stuff may be a little pricier, but it's a store in the middle of nowhere & they gotta make a living, too. There are organic fruits & other yummiee here, so it's going to cost more for good stuff. I thought the prices were pretty reasonable. Just a really nice, pleasant enjoyable place to stop, eat, rest a bit, and shop! So definitely check out Westside Country Store along I-5. Definitely going to be coming here from now on during our road trips because it is now a favorite place of ours to stop along our trips!

Not what I expected inside, but perhaps even cooler? Bought some dried edamame for me ($7.99), peanut brittle for him ($5.99) and some dip mix (called Dip Shit by Big Cock Farms). hahahaha It was just too funny not to buy. They also sold hot sauce, wine, gifts, and other dried fruits, nuts and veggies. Clean store and friendly employee that helped me at check out. Glad I stopped in!

This place is such a cool little gem to find in the middle of what seemed to be nowhere! You can find anything from snacks, candles, home decor, ice cream and even chocolate covered insects!!!!! I will def stop by this place again when i am back in Sacramento area!

Drove by this store many times and decided to go in and check it out. They have a large variety of packages snack foods. Next time I'll be more prepared to pay the high price for the food. 4 small bags of snacks and a super small strawberry milk was 43 bux. I didn't realize this was a high rent district. I'll be back but will be prepared for the sticker shock.

Zero star - lady working 8/19/23 at 4:15pm is remarkably rude, plenty of other options nearby. Better off anywhere else

I bought a bag of Garlic Bites here. If you're garlic lover, you got to get them! They are so good! I should have bought more.

Funky little collection of trinkets and snacks, and clean bathrooms as well. What's not to like? I'd definitely stop in again.

Subway doesn't have real avocado. 3.5oz bag of Snyder's Pretzels and an Evian was over $6. Still the healthiest stop from LA to SF.

I've always wanted to check out the Vineyard Farmer's Market and just never made it over. It was my lucky day as I snuck over while my fiancé was at his appointment. The Vineyard is beautiful and it was a lovely sunny day, just a bit windy. I was surprised at all the vibrant and quality produce offered. There were other vendors selling honey, flowers, food, coffee - even La Boulangerie bakery from Fig Garden had a booth! I honestly felt transported elsewhere for a bit. It felt like a genuine Farmer's Market and easily my favorite in Fresno now. Everything I purchased from this quick visit- I loved. The pastries from La Boulangerie, the coffee from Fabiano, the strawberries I actually purchased from 2 farmers, notably Maos Farms were the sweetest we've had all year and the produce was beautiful and delicious. I eyed some grape leaves sold by an older couple- the last one was purchased before I could say, hello, lol. They looked delicious. Great quality items from local farmers and vendors. I can't wait to return again.

You'd wanna get there early as parking can be challenging... Sadly, I did hit See's candies ($7) for my once a year urge burner. Or is it every two or three years? Ugh. WHY did I have to see that place? All the self-satisfaction of some damaging habit, like smoking a cigarette. If you catch me lifting one to my mouth two three years from now, please roundhouse kick it out of my hand! Nine dollars for a SMALL bowl of corn with mayo and some seasoning. Really? For corn you say? Only a glass of water is less labor intensive/costly! Add bacon for two dollars more and PG&E starts looking like a bargain! lol The Laotian Food truck was a good value and the menu item I ate was tasty. And there was a ton of food left to take home.... Try that with a nine dollar bowl of corn with mayo clocking in at 6-7 rounded tablespoons of RIP oFF! Needless to say, very few people were at that truck holding their ankles. I'm usually looking for something unique that is not available elsewhere... carefully picking my poison! Most of the vegetables being sold were wilted. I'm sure it's challenging in this weather. I came with an empty tank in the stomach and left with it full. Mission accomplished! -G

They don't keep fruit for more than a day so it's always fresh. They have onions, garlic, lots of fresh herbs and I guess whatever fruits or vegetables are ripe on that day. Very nice people. It looks like they might be growing some berries back there so we'll be back to check on that in a month or so. As of May 2021 the entire road they're on, Shaw Avenue (at Grantland) is completely torn up. It is "road closed" for major construction. To get here you have to come from the north right now. Government says the road should be reopened mid summer. I see a lot of people ignoring the road closed signs and just driving on the dirt. Must be rough if you live out there because there are some long detours.
