Mmmhhhhh Where do I start?!!!! Omg this place has been I mini mall since I was a little girl. My dad use to bring me and my baby sis here with him and we would go crazy! It was like a toys r us but for super cheap! My dad would buy us so many toys cause it was super cheap! And we get to fill up in fruits and veggies for my mother and sometimes got to pick out super cute close with Disney stuff on it! -we always ate Mexican food before leaving Home This is where I thank my father for giving me a palate, we use to always eat grasshopper tacos, Lengua(cow tongue) seso(brain) tacos Pig skin! Omg I love it all, I'm so thatful for this swap meat they have so much to offer! If you're ever I. The area and looking for a bargain and a full tummy this is the place to come to! And don't forget to leave home with all the fresh picked veggies and fruits!!!

I was super excited to know that Merced has a flea market! I expected it to be small but it's actually pretty big. You can literally find almost everything you need over here. I usually just come for the food and to just walk around. The elote is a MUST HAVE. OMG it's so good. I had it the first time today and it was so amazing. The tacos from Cortez truck I believe are super delicious as well. The agua frescos are a must have as well! The guava and mango are my favorite. The only downfall to this is, it's only open on Saturdays :( I wish it was open on Sunday's as well. Admission is only .50 cents!

Huarache and Gordita

I had a freshly made carne asada huarache Mexico City style and my favorite an al pastor Gordita.

Vendors are kind, I love going, walking around, and seeing. I have not tried the food yet, but I love the fresh coconut in a bag!

This farm is a weekly participant at the Ferry farmer's market in San Francisco Saturdays when…read moretheir crops are in season. I am actually amazed that I never reviewed it as I've been buying mostly stone fruits from them over the years. Most notably, with the season about to start, white peaches and white nectarines have long been on my shopping list when they're here. They appeared the final Saturday in April with cherries and the 1st crop of yellow peaches and nectarines. I bought a few for friends but have yet to try myself. I did try their Tioga cherries (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=STL_d-KiMZ9EpkmBLsMr0w) which were the 1st of the season. I'm sure that they will progressively get sweeter. I am looking forward to the white peaches and white nectarines to come in. The other crops that I enjoy from them include plums, apriums, pluots, and, later in the season, persimmons, especially the soft hachiyas. I was happy to see their stand at the foot of the south driveway across from Wise Sons. It is always very nice to see Lisa and several of their regular staff members from past seasons. I will be seeing you a lot more through the summer months. And yes, stone fruits are here now.

Literally nothing was open despite being there during the afternoon, when every shop had a sign…read moresaying "Open Sun. 11am-Xpm". How terribly inaccurate and misleading. My wife and I were excited peruse the shops and stalls while letting our dog explore. The only shops that were open were Modee and Zander's Coffee. Modee was a cute little shop with plenty of homemade soaps and lotions. This review does not reflect their shop though, I'd give them a 4/5. The woman running the shop seemed to be the sister of the soap/lotion maker, but she was quite friendly! It was unfortunate that there wasn't a comprehensive list of ingredients in their products. Regardless, I bought a 4oz bottle of Goats Milk Honey Lotion for $6. Compared to mainstream companies, this is quite a lot of product for the price, and it works well! I made a separate review for Zander's Coffee, but in short, it was poor quality. Overall we were saddened by the lack of accurate hours but delighted to have found Modee's shop.

What caught my eye was the awesome tribute to our American Military Veterans. (Thank you, all, for your service and sacrifices). It's right on the corner...be sure to look for it the next time you're in Coarsegold. Anyway, when the craft fairs are going on here, this place is jamming. We've visited on Memorial Weekend and Labor Day Weekend. Vendors come from all over and I have gotten the coolest stuff throughout the years. Food vendors, too. There IS a good Mexican restaurant there, too! The downfall for this place? There's not much in the way of parking. One year we were parked way up the side road and had to tromp through the weeds. It really is a fun day, though, when you're looking for a holiday weekend adventure.
