The pumpkins are clean, fairly priced, and there's a fantastic selection--from HUGE pumpkins to cute little decorative ones. I loved that there were tons of photo opportunities all around the patch, making it easy to capture those picture-perfect autumn memories. The farm stand is adorable and well-stocked, and there's even a little snack shack for treats and drinks. For the kids (and kids at heart), there's a small petting zoo and a fun haunted maze, which added to the whole experience without being overwhelming. One of the best things about this spot is that it's not overly crowded or hectic like a lot of other pumpkin patches, so you can actually relax and enjoy your visit. My grandma and my mother especially enjoyed stopping here. They had a really nice selection of fresh and dried fruits, and what stood out the most were the unique flavors. You don't usually see combinations like tequila, habanero, lemon, garlic, and tamarind all in one place, which made it fun to try different things. Definitely a nice spot to stretch your legs, grab a snack, and pick up something different if you're passing by.

This is a beautiful family-owned farm in the Fresno foothills. I have been several times in late…read morespring/early summer to pick or purchase cherries, and just recently went with a group to pick pomegranates in the fall. I think they may also have a berry patch, but I haven't been for that. Mountain Brook Ranch is a great place to bring the family to enjoy some time outdoors and to pick fruit fresh from the tree. It is easy to spot from the road, and has a lovely farm stand right next to a gravel parking area. Depending on the season, the farm stand has jams and the seasonally fresh/ripe fruit ready for you to buy if you don't want to pick your own. They also have buckets and pruning shears to cut the fruit off the trees available for those who want to pick their own. Please note that usually only certain trees or rows are available to pick from, depending on which trees have ripe fruit and which trees they are saving for other things. Surrounded by beautiful rolling foothills, this is a great family activity, and a great place to take photos while you enjoy time outside. Follow them on Facebook to get updates on when they'll be opened and when fruit is ready. And bring cash or check, as they do not accept credit cards.

It is located off of the Pacheco pass and it is a wonderful place to get fresh deli sandwiches, wine, ice cream, other foods, and other merchandise items that are farm cultivated. I found a pomegranate jam here, my husband located the fruit wine, and we ordered a wonderful deli sandwich each. The restrooms in the store are smelly, but they're functional. There are so many items here in very good snacks that are healthy and unhealthy that you can't go wrong. Whatever you're looking for they have it here. They have a carousel and a train for family fun and they have a candy shop that has ice cream in different coffee drinks in it. I was just amazed to see this attraction when we drove up.
