I drove 45 minutes to Westside Medical to get a supportive maternity belly band. At first I was hesitant, but my doctor had already sent the fax and everything was ready for me when I arrived. As soon as I walked in, everyone was smiling, friendly, and welcoming. I wish more companies had the kind of positive atmosphere they have going on there!! I was fitted for the correct belly band for my growing body and given clear instructions on how to wear it properly. I'm so glad I made the trip to Westside Medical! I highly recommend them! I purchased an expensive medical bed and had it delivered. The guys that delivered it were careless. They messed up my wall and my door trying to get the bed in. I finally told them to take the headboard off, which they did but not before doing the damage to my house. They also damages the headboard and footboard of the bed but I was told not to worry as they had plenty of headboards and footboards to replace the damaged ones. So I waited for someone to call me back. They never did. Finally I called Samantha who sold the bed to me and she didn't know anything about the damages. She said to send her pictures of the damage, which I did. She never got back with me but must have told the warehouse manager Ryan because he called. Ryan asked if he could come take a look at the walls, door and of course the bed. I agreed for him to come to my home on a Thursday evening. He never showed up no call, nothing just didn't bother. Go elsewhere for all your medical supply needs. They'll sell you everything but not stand by anything!! Terrible after the sale they don't care, they have your money. I put the purchase on a care credit card so I feel I have no recourse. They have my money and I have a damaged wall, door and bed. read more

First and last experience with this business. I drove 20 minutes out of my way to their store on Saturday to get a nebulizer, arriving 3 minutes before closing--yes, under the wire, but still during their posted business hours. When I arrived they had already locked the door. After knocking for at least 2 minutes, someone. answered and said "everything is shut down now". If the store had actually been open when I arrived, it would have taken them 30 seconds to process my payment for a nebulizer, which I had already verified was in stock; and it still would have been 2 minutes before closing. After she said she couldn't help me, she spent another 5 or more minutes past "closing" answering questions from another customer. So she couldn't accept my money to pay for something in store, but she could be accessible past closing to help another customer who wasn't buying anything. Strange customer service philosophy. Will just purchase online from another supplier. Why bother supporting your local bricks & mortar businesses when they treat you like crap? read more

took 6 months to get the hospital bed we ordered for my 90 yr old mother with a bone disease. the bed was so cheaply made the rails wouldnt stay up from day 1. the matress was so cheap foam it was hard like cement. we had to return it. they said they were going to give us our money back but never did. 1 star is too many! read more

I have gone to Westside Medical Supply in the past to get a scooter. Each time the representatives are so helpful and pay close attention to your needs as a person and show so much compassion. The chair I purchased is a Goldentech chair. As you can see in the photos is reclines to the point where it is like laying down in bed. It is awesome! I wouldn't go anywhere else. My dad and I special ordered a lift chair for my mom just a couple of weeks ago. We were told it would be 4 to 5 weeks for delivery. We were called last week and told the delivery date would be September 29. A lot longer than had been anticipated but it's a pandemic what can we do? They were the only place where we could actually go to the showroom and look at the chairs. The staff was really helpful and nice. They were short staffed the day we got there and we only had to wait a little bit. I think we worked with an employee name Jessica??? It was just a really easy and smooth process. She didn't call back in 2 weeks so I called again same issue, it's been 2 months with no call back. this isn't a way to run a business. Sara was upbeat, patient, and thoughtful while we needed to wait for some paperwork to come through from my sister's doctor's office. Waited over 3 months for a part for my wheelchair. Called numerous times always had an excuse. I thought well maybe because of covid they were having difficulty getting parts, but no, I went online and bought the same part and it was here within 3 days of purchase. I paid $56 for the part. The people here are nice, but their system sucks. I rented a wheelchair for a vacation to New York City. When I got there I discovered the chair had no foot rests! We tied a rope to the chair to use like a sling... it didn't work very well, but I was stuck. We were without the use of the chair and very limited in what we could do on our vacation. When I returned the chair I got an "I'm sorry" but no refund offer. Very poor customer service. Next time I'll use another company. read more

Horrible customer service. They're willing to bend over backwards as long as youre purchasing, but as soon as they're paid you're nothing. My mother passed away within a few weeks of the purchase of a very expensive power wheelchair before she even had a chance to use it. The owner would not even speak to me after I left several requests for a callback. He refused to accept the return, even when I offered to take less for it. The tags were still on it. One of their representatives promised in writing to arrange for the return of an expensive item I purchased from them. Then he did not reply to emails or phone calls for a week. Then another rep told me they would not let em return the item despite the written promise from their company and the fact that whiz is clearly within their return policy. Also, I later found the item for considerably less elsewhere. Now I am out $1500. Trust me, take your business elsewhere. read more
