The manager Markus took our order at 5:00PM for large cheese pepperoni pizza with 3 drinks. At this time there was only one other costumer in the dinning area. about 10 minutes later 4 other costumers were siting in the dinning area. at 5:20 I went up to the counter asked one of the waiter how much longer this will be before I got my pizza. He asked me for my table number and I gave it to him. he goes looks at the board and stated yours will be done in 2 more minutes. At this time other tables are getting there orders and eating a total of 5 tables were served , but not our table. At 5:45 I asked the waiter how much longer because it should of not taken 45 minutes for my table to be served while others have gotten their orders and were eating. She stated she would talk to the manager and that was all that was said. The manager did not come out to speak to us or try to fix this he just stayed in the back corner off to the side. I asked for a refund at this time the and asked to speak to the manager whom could not tell me the reason why my order took 50 minutes as we were leaving . I receive redound for pizza but we paid for the 3 drinks. He did not apologize or do anything to make this right. This was on 4/20/23 at 4:55 PM. read more

Disappointed! Not in the pizza, but in the service. On 2 different occasions, I ordered online. Waited to go pick up until the site online said to. On both occasions I was told to wait. The first occasion I waited 15 minutes. Got my Kahuna pizza. It was awesome. The second time, I ordered online, was actually late to pick up my pizza. Was told 10 minutes. I waited and asked. 20 more minutes, I was told. Since I had people waiting for me in my driveway at my house, I asked for a refund. I got the refund, minus the tip!! Whatever. Wow... Expensive pizzas, cheap tasting, what more could you want. If you like something like Domino's Pizza but want to pay a higher price then this place is for you. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars but service wasn't all that great. We came in on a Sunday around 3:30 and we were the only people in there. We ordered the personal pan with a side salad and drink for I believe $5.99. We're new to the area so had a few questions about the menu and didn't get much of a response. But, we received our pizzas and they were delicious! Very fresh and cooked to perfection. I just wish the staff would have told us more about their restaurant or specials they do. I later found on their website they have some pizza points system when you order a pizza. We are going to give this restaurant another shot because the pizza was so good. Great prices and great service (Gina was the person who served us and she was great). We were a large group and she did a good job. My only suggestion is to improve the breadsticks. They looked great but had absolutely no taste at all. Over all though, pizza was great and inexpensive. If we're ever passing through Yakima, we'll be back. I come here with my dad every time I visit Yakima. Staff is always super friendly, the pizza tastes great, even the dinner salad is really yummy. My favorite thing about this place though, besides the pizza, is the beer on tap. I love a Mac N Jack's with my pizza, and they serve draft beer in three sizes -- I always get the big mug. I'm in town on business and I have been here 2x for a basic, personal sized pizza. Not many vegetarian eats in Yakima, so pizza is usually safe when I'm in a rush and can't cook. The building is nice and interior decor is great. Warm and inviting. Adequate parking in a mall type place. Both times I came in, I felt almost rushed even though there were no other patrons. Maybe I have social anxiety when the cashier is standing there staring at me. Pizza is good...I wish they would put more sauce on them though. Odd thing: even though both times I had wished for more sauce, the dough was 'doughy' under the cheese...as in maybe not cooked long enough? I don't know how to make pizza but the dough was just soggy under the cheese and there was very little sauce (sauce tasted great!) I could perhaps be spoiled by chicago style pizza...missing that corn dough crust, cheese on bottom and sauce on top! The outer crust was great! My favorite part. I only had veggie toppings both times and for the most part, they seemed fresh. The pineapple was the only thing that tasted off to me so I won't be ordering that topping again. They sell ice cream but I didn't get any. They don't have plastic silverware for take-away patrons....I asked for some and they said they didn't have any. Kind of odd. I'm only here for one more week but if I were here longer, I'd return and ask for more sauce on the pizza next time. I recommend. read more

Good deals, pretty good pizza, but something is always wrong with our order (usually a forgotten topping or two...).

It was a very nice gesture to give us a free medium pizza coupon to welcome us to the neighborhood. Prices on the pizzas were not very affordable, and the cheese and sauce weren't my favorite flavors for pizza. Kind of bland, actually. And rubbery cheese that pulled all the toppings off as we ate it. The salads were generous for the price, and seemed pretty fresh. I would come for a salad meal. It's really loud. And the tvs make feeding kids troublesome. The pizzas are called medium, large, and grand, but they are small, medium, and large in the real universe. My son had alfredo penne, and it was good, but pricey. I didn't like that I ordered at the counter, picked up my own drinks and silverware and plates, but was pressured into tipping before I even had any form of service. That's always irritating. I like to tip, but not for nothing. No one tips me for being alive and doing the bare minimum. They should ring you up after you eat, so you know what you're actually tipping for. When I serve my own table, I usually don't tip. The coupon made this not too terrible of a financial hit, but without it, I think I would have been pretty unhappy. As I waited for my young children to finish eating, it was especially bothersome to hear the seemingly inebriated customer on the other side of the dining room getting louder and louder in his shouting and f -word usage. read more

I'm starting my review with the positive, which is the flavor of the food. It's decent pizza. My first experience several weeks ago was fine. No complaints. Today I ordered a pizza and salad for pickup. When I got there I paid and was told to wait 5 minutes because it wasn't ready yet. While waiting I saw a food runner taking food to the tables not knowing which table to take the food to, he was just walking around with the item in his hand asking the customers if the item is theirs. While still waiting for my pizza, the cashier walked to the holding area and I noticed he kept looking at a pizza box and reading the ticket. By this time it's been longer than 5 minutes. The cashier then started making/putting toppings on a pizza with no gloves. I've now been waiting for more than 10 minutes and walked to the register where the cashier stopped making pizzas, walked to the register, looked at the pizza that has been sitting at the holding area since I got there and said "sorry for the wait." My pizza was ready the whole time! I get home and realize the cashier did not give me dressing for my salad. He also missed the Parmesan cheese and crushed peppers. It's nice to have a local pizza place that is this inviting. I went here yesterday for their lunch special and the slices were great and the employees were friendly as always. Clean store and a complete view of the kitchen is such a nice change from pizza huts offering. I know I'm new to yelp but for a business to have 37 4 and 5 star reviews burried seems a bit odd. We've eaten at this location several times and it is always delicious. Tonight I called in an order to save time and I went in to get it and it was very overdone and almost inedible. I took it right back up to the front counter and told the lady and she said, "no problem" and they remade it without any complaints. I have been extremely satisfied with Westside Pizza. We first went to the restaurant when it opened in West Valley. When our pizza didn't come out exactly right, they quickly boxed up that pizza for us to take home and made us a completely new pizza. They went above and beyond to meet our expectations. We ate in for dinner and had the gourmet veggie pizza, which was unique and good with pesto used as the sauce. We asked for thin crust, but the gal who took our order didn't specify that to the cook. When she delivered the pizza to our table she told us her mistake, was very apologetic and offered to redo the order. We denied that offer since the pizza was good as it was. They gave us a free dessert as compensation for the pizza crust mistake, which is good business. The staff was very inviting and pleasant and spoke to us as we left. Customer service great. Food good. Atmosphere comfortable. Big screen TV in an area somewhat separated from the front of the restaurant so there is seating away from it. An arcade is completely out of sight of the restaurant, so not bothered by that noise. So, I give a very good for the layout. We will dine there again and get the thin crust and a different pizza to determine final judgment. read more
