After 3 plus years in the place and a $300 cleaning, you're going to ding me for the blinds? Do you know what they looked like when I moved in?! I do, and I know they look better on move out than they did on move in. They returned my deposit less $150 for cleaning the blinds and $140 for other cleaning, with no details about what was cleaned on day 21, exactly as required by law. I decided that fighting over $290 with these mf'ers was not worth my peace. 2 weeks later, they send me a receipt for a $250 cleaning completed AFTER they returned the deposit. Like, what? Do you think I'm gonna pay you after you deducted a fee already. AND I left the place spotless. I do not know if they are liars, thieves, or grossly incompetent. Ultimately, they aren't as bad as City Apartments. But then, City Apartments was sued out of existence. I feel like G&L won't absolutely screw you over, but they will do the barest possible minimum effort and charge absolutely maximum they can get away with while staying under the radar. Why isn't the bar higher?
