Came here for a mango boba lemonade. This location is near the Primark in Arundel Mills Mall. I went to place my order and a pleasant young man assisted: a mango boba fresh lemonade (not frozen) with a regular pretzel with salt. The ambiance was chill as it was weekday visit. I watched as my beverage was made and presented to me with the BIG plastic straw to get those boba pearls and mango chunks with every sip! My pretzel was hot and fresh as well. We got the sugar pretzel bites which is a dupe to Auntie Anne's. I do think this version was less hot and a tad drier. Personally, I would not come back. Service was exactly like you'd think. Quick because the food was already in the heater. Ambiance was noisy and felt a tad rushed because everyone wants to get their food and leave. read more

Today I received a coupon for buy3 get one free. And what an awesome deal this was. I got 2 soft pretzels and two bags of pretzel bites. Gotta say for 30$ it's was pretty steep but these will not go to waste. Drinks we both got slushees blue raspberry and strawberry lemonade. The pretzels were warm. I would rather have a hot pretzel but I will except warm. They didn't taste stale which is a good thing. There was a 15 minutes wait and there was only 1 person in front of us. 2.19.23 I may have had a pretzel from here many years ago and don't recall liking it since my loyalty is to Auntie Anne's. I was at the mall today looking for President's Day deals and didn't want to wait in long lines in the food court as it would cut into my shopping time. Lol. So I walked by and saw they had pepperoni twist baked cheese pretzel and a short line so popped in. My recollection must be wrong because the pretzel was delicious!! It tasted freshly made. I was asked if I wanted any dipping sauce, but it didn't need anything extra. It was perfect as is. I am definitely a fan and will stop by when I am at the mall and in need of a tasty snack. I never understood pretzel shops in malls. I always feel like it is a rip off of something overly salty. Yeah, it might fill you up at first, but in the long run, you will be paying for it. I also do not understand why my review was initially taken down. It said it was of a secondhand review, but I can attest that I was standing in Arundel Mills when this took place and did experience this firsthand. Apologies if that wasn't apparent in the initial review. My dad was searching for a snack before we found a place to eat for the day. As we came around the bend he saw this place and decided this will do. He has been on a soft pretzel kick lately. He, my brother, and I went up and ordered and it took forever and a day for us to make it from the spot we ordered until we were handed his order. I honestly do not understand that. It is a small storefront, you have everything right there in front of you. How long did it take for you to grab your prefilled cups of pretzel bites and fill up a cup with a drink? Overall, it satisfied him, but I know he paid way to much for a simple snack. For me, it was not satisfying, I felt bloated afterwards and it really wasn't a snack. Also, for a food stand they might consider to have more seating other than mall benches. I know it's a treat to take with you as you go about the mall, but for people that want a bit of a rest stop, more seating than roughly just enough for four people on back to back benches should be in the area. read more

One other problem, I was also hungry. The only thing I like less than malls is mall food. I then walked right by Wetzel's and thought that might be a good option. And I was definitely correct. My go to pretzel is usually just salt, so I started with one of those. It was definitely exactly what I needed. I then went and got shoes, and on my way back got a jalapeno pretzel, which was also awesome. In addition to great pretzels the staff were also top notch. read more

This may have been the worst pretzel. I really tried to like this place, but the pretzel was so dry and tough to eat. Unfortunately I have to give them 3 stars. Not only was the pretzel inedible, but the customer service was lacking. They had no prices anywhere so we had to ask for the individual pricing of every single type of pretzel and they seemed annoyed to have to give us the prices. I was at Arundel Mills Mall a couple months ago and mistook this place for Auntie Anne's Pretzels. Don't be fooled! Wetzel's is a poor imitation of Auntie Anne's. Plus, Wetzel's service was terrible! I ordered a pepperoni pretzel and they said they were out of them and it would take 6 minutes to make more. My husband waited near the counter while I went to a store a couple doors down. When I got back, the woman at the counter was handing a pepperoni pretzel to the next customer in line! I said, "What about the pepperoni pretzel I ordered 5 minutes ago?" And she just shrugged. No apologies or even admitting she forgot. She had another pepperoni pretzel coming out of the oven so she gave me that. But as soon as I bit into it, I knew I'd made a mistake. It was doughy and bland and tasted raw on the inside -- then I realized this is not Auntie Anne's! Doh! Never again, Wetzels, never again! read more

Today was my first ever visit to any wetzel Pretzel. I'm a huge fan of another pretzel store and the wetzel menu sounded very similar so I was excited to try wetzel. I went with the plain cheese pretzel and pepperoni pretzel. The pretzels were ok but I like the other pretzel store much better. The cheese on the pretzels did not add much flavor and I really didn't care for the type of pepperoni that wetzel uses. The pepperoni had more of a hot dog like flavor and I'm not a huge fan of hotdogs. The service at the store was good and they were well stocked with pretzels. read more

Let me start off by saying I've been a loyal customer to this establishment for a while now. I never fail to visit to grab a quick bite whenever I go to the mall. However, today will be the last time I will be visiting this establishment. Other than the fact that almost all the frozen drinks were not ready, the customer service was terrible. I usually go to Auntie Annes for pretzels because of the combos and i do have such a large family. However I happened to pass by Wetzels today because my daughter was playing in the kids area right infront. It was a bit busy but I was quickly attended. The girls were so sweet and welcoming!! I ordered three bags of mini cinnamon pretzels, I was told there was a wait for the pretzels bites but I was in no rush, I waited about 5 minutes and received my delicious pretzels! They were fresh and warm. The cinnamon melted as soon as it hit my mouth. So yummy. Definitely my new favorite place!!! Customer Service was great. They even had military discount, love to see they are giving back, even with something small like a discount. Great Job Wetzels Team!! Definitely will be seeing us. read more
