One thing I will say about 7-Eleven is they have a great loyalty program. I discovered it a year and a half ago when I was filling up my car, and joined. Of the gate I got a pretty serious discount per gallon on fuel. After the first three tanks it drops down to $0.11 a gallon off. And hey, in this day and age any discount is a good discount. Their loyalty program is easy to sign up for, as they usually have it advertised on the gas pumps. Take advantage of it, you may say it's just 11 cent a gallon off, but when you times that by the number of gallons you fill up your car with it can make a difference. Inside the store, the staff is perfunctory. Perfunctory. I can only think of one time when someone was genuinely interested enough to ask how I was doing. But I can't fault them for that. It's a job, and not a very nice one at that. I applaud people that can actually work at a convenience store and maintain their sanity. So here's a message to all of you, next time you go into a 7-Eleven be nice, be friendly and be interested in how the person is doing. Bottom line?
