I woke up hungry and ready for a cup of coffee. I was especially pleased to walk in to have a treat and found live music in this great spot. My hubby joined me after his golf game and we sat there enjoying delicious sandwiches and coffee. My only negatives were the service was questionable and the coffees were way too hot. Mine bordered on bitter. The gentleman delivering orders spent too much time going from table to table trying to figure how who the food belonged to. There is a cute patio but we chose to stay in and enjoy the music.

I got it iced and the flavor perfectly popped! The coffee was a nice medium roast and had a subtle ease of caffeine. I also got my husband a chai latte which was amazing! It was well spiced and had a subtle apple cinnamon flavor to it. We both were thoroughly impressed by our drinks here and would highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area!

I really like being able to sit at the big Windows looking out at the Mississippi River. I like their location because as a study break or if you want to get out after the Riverwalk is right outside so it's easy to hop on that for a run or walk directly afterward(you also are within 2 to 3 miles of the bridge connecting Moline and bettendorf as well as the bridge to Sylvan Island which are fun places to get out to.

I want to return and purchase about a dozen items from…read moretheir grocery store which carries a variety of fresh cheeses and a hot case full of food I'd like to try, along with a gamut of other Latin American products throughout. We ate lunch at El Mexicano recently and while I enjoyed my huarache, I had serious food envy over my companion's carnitas. They looked and tasted very good and, as I later learned, are a restaurant specialty. I'll definitely come back to El Mexicano! Not only to check items off my shopping list, but for another cheap and tasty lunch (and carnitas).
